Beautiful Cabo Condo.

  • 5 of 5

We were very happy with the location and property at Villa La Estancia. We especially enjoyed the restaurants at the resort. They were really great and had wonderful servers. As for the condo, it had everything we needed and was super comfortable for two couples. We loved the large porch with celling fans. John, the property owner was amazingly responsive and made us feel very at ease in renting his property. I would definitely do it again!

Amazing Cabo Villa Rental!

  • 5 of 5

The villa, property and overall level of service at La Estancia were fantastic! The villa was very well equipped, was exactly as described and overall impeccably maintained. In terms of space, the villa worked great for a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young children) with 2 BRs, 3 full baths, large dining/family room and in villa washer/dryer unit. The view from the outside porch was beautiful and the outdoor area was quite large with ample seating. The owner's personal recommendations (provided in an advance document to help with planning) proved extremely helpful; further assistance booking activities, dinner reservations, etc. were provided by on-site management and concierge personnel. The overall property is impeccably maintained and very safe. We visited during Spring Break so the resort was fairly crowded at times but always manageable. Breakfast at La Casona was very good and very reasonable. We were also pleasantly surprised by room service (decent meal at very reasonable price). We would reiterate one of the prior reviewers suggestions on securing prime chairs by the pool on the early side (before 8am). Close proximity to downtown Cabo is also huge plus (short to moderate walk along the beach or a very brief cab or water taxi). We would highly recommend the resort and this specific villa and hope to return again in the future!

Excellent rental

  • 5 of 5

The villa was well appointed and quite large. We slept two adults and four children in the villa and had plenty of room, though we did bring our own blow up bed for our princess daughter who didn't want to share a bed. There is one King, two fulls and a pullout that is about a full size as I recall. Upon arrival, there is a person who brings you welcoming drinks to your room, which is a nice touch and actually, quite good. The view is very good and the patio is large. We were there for spring break so the resort was pretty crowded but never overwhelmingly so. There is a GREAT restaurant on site called La Casona. We went there three nights on the all inclusive plan and the service was truly top notch and the food was excellent as well. I couldn't understand why it wasn't busier as we had no problem making a reservation and eating there with six people and it was never full. We ate at Neptune that is located at the Los Arcos and were generally unimpressed. The service and food was much better at La Casona though if you're on the all inclusive plan you should probably try Neptune once for yourself to judge. It wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as La Casona. Breakfast under the all inclusive is at La Casona and it's a buffet and is excellent. Pool area is good but not really large. Beware: Get down to the pool at eight and "reserve" your spaces or you will have some difficulty finding a spot--at least during Spring Break. Pool was very warm which my kids (and I) liked. Swim up bar was nice and service was good even during Spring Break. Staff was accommodating in the main lobby, including the concierge. You CAN walk to town but it's probably more feasible to take a taxi for most people. The only downside of the resort is the gym. It's really pretty anemic for folks who lift weights. They need to remodel it if possible. I was also bummed that I couldn't use the Los Arcos gym without having to pay a $15 fee. That gym is very nice and located next door at the sister property. I guess I can understand their motivation in precluding VLE users but it was a bummer (I survived). Two tennis courts. Kitchen is large and has everything you need. Grocery store is nearby for food. We were very happy with the all inclusive but it's not cheap. John was great and easy to work with. Will go again at Spring Break in two years. Excellent resort that skews toward the higher end crowd.

Awesome Vacation!

  • 4 of 5

We just spent a week in Cabo at the Villa Estancia and had a wonderful experience! Our Villa had all the comforts of home and more. Everything was very clean and well taken care of, people always willing to help and spoke a lot of English! Pools and Beach were perfect! Awesome ocean view and great patio to relax and enjoy the view! Great food on site and no loud spring breakers at night. Loved it and will definetly return.

Gorgeous Villa!

  • 5 of 5

John's write up about recommendations with things to do and restaurants to dine at were so helpful in creating an itinerary for me and my group of ladies! All the places we visited were best describe perfectly. I appreciate his quick response to all my questions. The villa was large, comfortable and had a nice view. Some villas here have a gate as a front door, but this one had an actual wood door with more privacy. Thanks John!
