About Rachel Attard
I have put a lot of my heart and soul into this place and love the vibe. My family and friends always look forward to their stay at my cozy cottage home. They cannot say enough about our city and what a great balance it has. Grand Rapids is large enough to have all the things you expect from a big city with out a lot of the confinement. You can drive out of grand rapids 10 miles in any direction and enjoy the raw untouched beauty, awesome rivers/lakes, and green space for which Michigan is well known. I have traveled well and lived in many different areas within Michigan and believe the Westside is the best side of. This home is an extension of my heart and I hope you will feel welcome as a fellow traveler of this world when you walk through the doors.
Rachel Attard purchased this Bungalow in 1999
Why Rachel Attard chose Westside Connection
Grand Rapids is close to everything and everywhere you want to be in West MI. Some places in MI require a half hour drive or more to procure groceries. I used to live Up North and loved the natural beauty but began to see the limited access as a disadvantage. Where the Grand Rapids area offers the convenience of Michigan's second largest city and a bounty of environmental purity I value so much. Just a 25 mile drive to Lake MI and all the perks of city life. What more can you ask for?
What makes this Bungalow unique
This home is in the perfect location. Right off the main drag that takes you directly from the city to the lake shore. Direct access to Interstate I-I96, Highway 131, and M-45 (Lake MI Drive). So you can have a direct route downtown, or to the lake shore. Take advantage of the spa room and book a massage treatment while you stay. There is a gym and a coffee shop right across the street and a killer diner with great breakfast and burgers within walking distance.

Well outfitted small home in a nice area on the westside of Grand Rapids
This home is located close to downtown Grand Rapids in a nice area close to the zoo and museums. It is in between the downtown and Allendale GVSU campuses and is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. It is well equipped for cooking and has a nice outside area with a grill and umbrella table. The yard is fenced for dogs. The house is well cared for and suited my needs completely. The owners are responsive and obviously take good care of the home. I would definitely rent here again if the need arose.
Cozy home close to everything
This little house served a great purpose for us as a place to land while we waited to get into our new home during our move from NH. Cute little home.
Very nice house
I really love this house. I also appreciate everything about the home
Home for the Holidays
We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and found it to be one of the best vacations we could have. We had our two pets with us, and they enjoyed the fenced back yard, plus plenty of nice neighborhoods for walks. The house provided everything for a comfortable stay, we cooked Thanksgiving dinner, had family over and treated them to ‘Mr. Burger’, within walking distance. Rachel was very helpful and was quick to respond to any of our needs. We would and will stay here again when visiting family in Grand Rapids.
I loved staying at this house...it was charming and perfect for my stay in Grand Rapids😊
Cozy home minutes from downtown
We had a great time in Grand Rapids. The home was well furnished with partially everything you would need, including coffee and filters! The yard out back was a perfect running playground for our dog. And the location to downtown was perfect; less than a 10 minute drive! I would love to come back and stay at this property again one day. The only downside was that the windows didn't have screens and difficult to open. Our weekend stay was mid April, so possibly the owners didn't have a chance yet to put screens in. So we left the front door open while we were home and enjoyed the breeze coming in through the screen door.
The house is just a few blocks west of the John Ball Zoo.
Close to all the major downtown event venues. The Amway Grand Plaza, Goei Center, Van Andel Arena, DeVoss Place, The Bob, St. Cecilia's Musical Society, GRCC, GVSU, and downtown museums and attractions.
