1501 Beach Avenue is a Great Oceanside rental for three-generation families, in North Beach Haven on Long Beach Island, NJ. We rent out our home in the summer for families that share our love of the white sand beaches and surf. Only twelve houses to the beach, this is a two family home with internal connections and a layout that grandparents, kids and grandkids love. 2600 sq feet gives you plenty of room with multiple living rooms and kitchens, central air, etc. for differing activities without feeling crowded.
We ourselves have family gatherings of over fifteen folks and find that not only are there beds enough, there are places several groups can do different things at the same time (do jigsaw puzzles while others play a board game and other still are watching TV or reading in another room.) Or have everyone gather around the large, expandable dining table. Compare to others that claim to hold 12-14 people yet have HALF our space and 'jam you in'. 'We have four bathrooms (2 full & 2 half) so there is convenience. Compare that to others in out price range with 2-3 (only.) Grand Dame' Victorians are beautiful, but rooms back then were half the size we are accustomed to now.
Instead we provide GREAT living spaces that are far more conducive to fun and relaxation. This is why families like yours keep returning to our house - we have 4-5 families that repeat-rented now for ten years.
Unlike many larger homes in LBI, this does NOT require lots of stairs to enter and enjoy. Sleeps up to 16, and again, no waits with 2 full and two half baths (and a great outside shower!) Please note that due to insurance requirements, dogs are not permitted.
The spacious living and dining room area downstairs (see pictures), is balanced out by the front porch and upstairs deck, providing space for all. Two kitchens make it easy to cook or eat-in or entertain (along with the outside picnic table and gas grill.)

Central A/C, satellite TV with HBO, wireless internet, dishwasher, washer/dryer, outside clothes line, stereo, DVD and VCR players, outside shower, and many others.
We are within easy walking distance of many restaurants and activities and have ample off-street parking,including use of a two-car garage. Many use this to safely store bicycles, beach boards, chairs, etc. without creating clutter inside.

We grew up in NJ and love all aspects of the Jersey Shore. Swimming, sunning, windsurfing to board games. For decades, we happily 'leave our worries back on the mainland' when we go over the bridge. Best times now are when the extended family comes down, or with great friends and great food.

Our parents took us to LBI in the 1950's and we learned to swim there and love the beach and the pace. Ten years ago, my sister and I decided to jointly by this house to keep that tradition alive, and bring our two families closer together. We have done that and more, and welcome others that love the beach and want to also bring their family together in a relaxed setting.
Our house is a two-family that has internal stairs that we rent out as one. As a result, it has far, far more space per person than other houses claiming similar capacity. Large families find that some folks that want to play board games in the evening, do not have to share space and noise with video games or TV. We love sitting on the porch and watching walker, bike riders and in-line skaters pass by. Short, no traffic walk to the beach and yet we are only a couple of blocks from Bay Village or from several great restaurants (Stefano's is one of the best on the island.)

If you want short distances to stores, shops, restaurants, a neighborhood pub, package stores, churches and all kinds of rentals........This is it!

In other words, if you want to enjoy your vacation in the most pleasant of surroundings with your children, grandchildren and other family and friends, this is the place for you.
It has been for us for 13 years and we have asked to come back next year for 2 weeks.

We're almost at the end of our weeks vacation, and have again, enjoyed every minute of every day! Thank you for the improvements - they are always a delight and are appreciated. Our family is already talking about returning next year.

Signed lease is due two weeks after it is sent, along with the first 1/3rd of total, plus the %800 deposit. The succeeding 1/3rd payments are due in April and June, respectively.
