We stayed in the property over President's Day weekend, for a ski trip. The house is nicely remodeled and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed going out back to see the cattle and calves. The kids also enjoyed their little party in the sauna after a day of skiing powder. The only negative about this property was the lack of a WiFi internet connection. We would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I, along with four of our friends just returned home after a week long stay at this rental property. After looking for weeks for a place that would accommodate us and was close to where we wanted to hunt, this place fit the bill. Our week stay was enjoyable and the rental provided everything we needed for the week long stay. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and up kept, and all the necessary cookware was there for our cooking needs for the week. There was an upstairs and downstairs living area which was convenient for a group of our size. The sauna was an added bonus and well enjoyed after climbing the steep Utah mountains day after day. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood with friendly people and close to thousands of acres of public hunting land, this is the place.
We spent two and a half weeks over Christmas with our family of seven in this nice home. The children enjoyed seeing the calves in the pens out back and playing the mini shuffle board in the basement. The house had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable - adequate beds and linens, televisions, kitchen items, etc. The location is great- outside of the bustle of Logan, but only a few miles from Utah State, restaurants, grocery stores, Green Canyon, and more. We highly recommend this property and hope to come again.
The house was outfitted with a portable air conditioning unit during an unusually hot week thanks to the owners foresight. The children in the family enjoyed the calves and the large back yard. We didn't spend much time in the house but it worked well for sleeping arrangements.
Even though we have a large family, this place was very adequate and comfortable, especially with the larger basement as a quiet hangout. We loved the spacious back yard, the walk along the back canal was absolutely beautiful, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed making friends with the calves. For our purposes, traveling between Paradise and Preston, it was an ideal location in between. It's a nice clean place and the owners are very accommodating and helpful.
My family just returned from a stay in this home. It was nicely furnished, well decorated, and everything functioned well. The linens are nice and beds were comfortable. The entire house is only 1500 square feet, including the basement. It is quite small. It is advertised for 8 people, but that must include a baby, because there are not enough beds for 8 adults. The advertised extra blow up mattresses did not exist; we were given two camping cots instead. The kitchen is only large enough for one person at a time. The eating area contains two small tables which are not enough seating for 8 people to sit down to a meal together. The living room has a couch and loveseat, but the space is quite small. It is difficult for 8 people to congregate together to watch a movie, visit, or play games. The downstairs has a couch, but no additional seating. With the x-box, most people would have to sit on the floor. The front yard grass area was nice enough, but the flower beds are weedy. The back yard is shady, but the grass is lumpy. It was generally quiet, except on July 24 when the next door neighbor lit off his personal fireworks at 10:30 pm. All in all, we managed fine, but would have liked to have more space.
