Overview

Argolida Villa Rental Photos and Description

4 Bedrooms, 1 loft, 4 bathrooms, 1 seperate WC, sleeps 9-10,

“ANNA' is a newly built villa 250m2 located in a breathtaking uphill area, luxurious, modern, spacious, in the quiet residential area of Agios Emilianos. Inside and outside the villa (living rooms, bedrooms, verandas, bathrooms, pool, gardens & patio), the magical views of the islands: Spetses, Spetsopoula, Hydra, Kounoupi, Dokos and Ermioni, amaze any visitor. This incredible, unique spectacle cannot be printed on photos. You cannot imagine the stunning feeling of 'infinity' the pool (4mx12,50m) offers you, when you wake up in the morning or relax during the evening. The villa is immaculately furnished and equipped with a home feeling; “cosy” interior design and central heating and air conditions in all bedrooms. The well shaped garden which fits perfectly to villa, the mild climate and the seductive views make it ideal for holidays all year round.

Villa Information: The swimming pool is 4,00X12,50m (max depth 2,60m) and there is a pool-side shower. By the gardens you can either sunbath or relax. Villa ''Anna'' has a fully equipped BBQ and a breathtaking view BAR by the swimming pool.

Beach and Coast: There is a selection of beaches (sandy, white sand and pebble) around the area. Nearest beach is 500m. The Airport to Porto Heli is about 3hrs drive. Piraeus port to Porto Heli is 2.5hrs away (by Hydrofoil). Porto Heli center is just 8km from the villas, or a 10 min drive. Costa's small harbour is nearby and just 5 mins by water taxi from the island of Spetses. Kranidi is 10kms away. Nearby fishing villages of Kilada (13kms) and Ermioni (17kms, market on Thursday) are well worth visiting. They have a number of seafront tavernas, many specialising in local seafood. The ancient theatre of Epidavros (50km) performances are still held in the summer months. Nafplion, the first capital of Greece is 85kms away, with wonderful venetian and Turkish architecture and has a number of interesting cafes and shops to explore. Mycenae (70km), Agamemnon's palace. The coastline in the area is perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving with numerous bays and private beaches to be found.

Place to visit: Each area around Porto Heli has its own special character and most people like to do some exploring when on holiday.Water-skiing,water sports, are available at coastal resorts. If you want to stay close to the sea, there is an abundance of islands to visit. You can start with the popular whitewashed island of Spetses, 10 minutes by small boat or water taxi from the Costa. Followed by a visit to Hydra, an artist’s traffic free paradise, or drive up the coast through the lemon groves to Poros. The intriguing walled city of Monemvassia, though not strictly an island, is well worth a visit. It is reached after a peaceful 3 hour journey by excursion boat along the Peloponnese coast. It is essential to visit inland Peloponnese. It has a mystical beauty emphasized by the constantly changing light and colours in the mountains and around the ancient sites. The area is easily reached by road or sea from Athens and there is a wide choice of daily flights both schedule and charter into Athens.

Wonderful villa with superb views

  • 5 of 5

Villa Anna is a truly wonderful place. The house itself is very well-appointed, and accommodated 7 adults very comfortably. There is a good kitchen with large fridge-freezer, various terraces (all with superb sea views), a large well-maintained pool and stone-built barbecue etc etc. Emmanuel was an extremely good host. He met us in town even though we arrived extremely late, and guided us to the house. Even though he was not staying nearby while we were there, he arranged for a neighbour to help us with anything we needed e.g. when there were power cuts she arrived to turn on the generator. There are various beaches, but the nearest is the best, a 5 minute car drive or 12 minute walk. Car hire is essential.

Villa Anna

  • 5 of 5

From the moment I made my first enquiry Emmanuel was helpful, informative and very friendly.

We were met in Porto Heli by Emmanuel and escorted up to the villa where we were met by his lovely wife Anna who had made us a delicious iced tea to welcome us. These touches are so important to start your holiday off well.

The house was in the most spectacular spot over looking Spetses. It was well equipped with everything you needed and more!

We were a family group of nine ranging from 6 years old to 74. All of us found things of interest and activities to suit in the area. Altogether it was a fabulous holiday and everyone of us would recommend it. In fact if we can all get together again soon we all agreed we would love to return.

Thank you Emmanuel and Anna for making our stay in your gorgeous house so memorable

A place to remember

  • 5 of 5

Our 3-week stay at Villa Anna surpassed all our expectations!

The warmth of the home was a reflection of its hospitable owners, Anna and Manoli, who made us feel so welcome from the first moment we met them! The views from the endless balconies are spectacular and tranquil, inspiring and relaxing, as they showcase the best Greece has to offer: clear skies and blue waters that compliment rolling hills covered with cypress trees, olive groves, vineyards, pine trees, thyme, oregano and a multitude of colorful plants!

It is like Tuscany, surrounded by the crystal clear, inviting Aegean waters!

Needless to say, the day of our departure was very difficult for all of us, but we made a promise to return to this beautiful part of Greece!

Everything as promised !

  • 5 of 5

We where a family of 6 (and 1 baby 1,5 year) there and spend 2 weeks in May in Villa Anna. We can strongly recommend this residence. The owners was there to receive us, and we got a warm welcome and information about the house and area. The residence is on a hilltop in a peaceful area, but still close to town (a car is needed).

Greek Holiday - August 2010

  • 5 of 5

Wow is really all I can say. The villa was stunning. The description was very accurate, it was very clean and exceptionally well maintained. The owner was more that helpful and very friendly, even picking us up with all our groceries on the day of our arrival. I would be happy to recommend this villa to anyone and in fact have already got two friends interested. The views are wonderful and it is very peaceful. You do absolutely need a car. Porto Heli has a wonderful outdoor cinema and the restaurants and supermarket are good. The boat trip to Spetze is a must. We had 8 staying at the villa - 4 children who only left the pool to play in the games room! The villa was spacious and cool and very welcoming - home from home but better!

The layout worked well - the pool man came every other day and we had a lady clean the house once a week. The house is on 3 floors but you don't really use the 3rd as it is really just extra balconies - we used it for drying the washing! As long as you have a car I would say that both the area and the villa would ensure that you had a wonderful holiday and we most certainly didn't want to come back. The bbq by the pool and the outdoor bar area really added to the whole greek experience - we will go back.

Porto Heli is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surrounded by rolling pine clad hills, the village is situated on a vast bay, providing one of the safest natural harbours in Greece, which today has been transformed into a miniature cosmopolitan port without having lost its traditional charm. It is also a paradise for water sport enthusiasts. With 18 miles of beaches & coves, there is always somewhere new to go for a swim or explore by boat. The mild climate, because of its 350 days of sunshine, the unforgettable sunsets, and the innumerable cultural activities, ensure that Porto Heli is a popular holiday resort throughout the year. The lovely village centre offers a wide variety of shops, tavernas, restaurants, banks, cinema & newspaper kiosks. Information on car, boat & motorbike rentals, excursions by boat to Hydra, Spetses, Poros or Monemvassia or by bus to Epidavros, Nafplion & Mycenae is available at the Tourist Offices.
