Wonderful Flat in Great Neighborhood
Joana and her family took care of us and made our stay in Lisbon special. She was responsive and more than willing to provide recommendations on shops, neighborhoods, things to do with kids. Her kids shared some toys with ours which made our stay that much better for them. The flat is as advertised with high ceilings, tall windows with tons of natural light, well appointed for cooking and relaxing. The location is fantastic. There are views of the river out the main windows and roof tops from the kitchen. There is street noise from the 28 tram but we quickly got used to it—don’t let that stop you. The main bathroom is a little cramped and has a tiny tub. All in all we loved the flat and would stay here again. Thanks Joana!
Great flat in good location
Joana was excellent, and the property was fab. On a team direct into central Lisbon, but walkable if you prefer. The flat is lovely and well equipped. Perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenage children.
Perfect Lisbon Apartment
Our family of 5 loved our stay in Joana's apartment during our 12 day trip to Lisbon. Location was central, with sights and links to transport easily accessible on foot. Loved the high ceilings and art-filled interior, beds were very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped (maybe just basics like oil and salt would be a good idea on standby). The boiler for hot water broke during our stay but Joana sorted it out quickly, even kindly offering us use of her own bathroom in the short interim. The little balcony looking down on street life and tram 28 below is great, especially with its view of the Tagus . We can fully recommend staying in this lovely apartment, perfect for a family of 5, would happily return anytime!
Loved this place.
The decor with the art and accessories was so appealing and unique.
It’s a large space with very high ceilings and it was very comfortable.
The location was perfect; close to the attractions but removed from the mobs of tourists.
I would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful stay at cool apartment
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very spacious and well decorated inside. Lots of room for children to run around in. Tons of toys and books to keep them entertained. A long and narrow balcony to sit on, have a drink and watch the trams. Comfortable beds and a good sized kitchen. Easy check in process and the owner was very helpful with recommendations.
Location is excellent. Not too busy an area but close to everything. Park at top of hill was lovely and great for kids.
Nearby there were some great restaurants. A place called the Mill for excellent take away coffee and there is a fantastic sushi bar opposite called Kampai that does takeaway also so you can enjoy on the balcony.
We would happily stay again and have recommended to friends.
Great historical flat in perfect location
Our family of 5 stayed here for 10 days in June and had a great time in this historical building and eclectic apartment.
Pros: Joana the host was awesome. Very quick responses to any questions we had and super helpful; tons of kids toys and things for our 3 girls to play with; very comfortable beds; spacious rooms; perfect location to explore the city from.
Cons: Bathrooms could use a bit of TLC or updating (clean the fans, replace the shower curtains, etc.); the kitchen could use some staples for cooking (oils, salt, pepper, spices, etc.) as there wasn't anything there; the place can get hot - we were there during a heat wave and the apartment heats up at night with the windows closed - although the many fans were helpful.
