Doug & I (Lori) are both Montana Natives. We have been married for 33 years and have been blessed with 5 children and 4 grandchildren!
We enjoy boating, fishing, camping, hiking, & snowmobiling. With all that Montana has to offer, I guess thats why we chose to never leave!
Lori purchased this cabin in 2011
We primarily built this cabin on our property for our family & guests. We decided it was a shame to see it sit empty 3/4 of the year, so we have turned it into a vacation rental for others to enjoy.
This cabin is brand new and we have added a few special touches for you as a quest to enjoy.
It's also centrally located for countless activities, and best of all Glacier National Park is only 29 miles away!
Great stay! The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. The listing and pictures were accurate, and the cabin was very clean. Lori was very nice, and when we had an issue turning on the fireplace, she came over right away and helped us. The views of the mountains were great, and we would come back again. It was our first time to Montana, and it was a fun and relaxing vacation.
We stayed there for two nights and loved it. The home was very cozy and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were great and the heated floor in the bathroom was an amazing tough!!! Would for sure stay there in the future. Lori was amazing and greeted us as soon as we arrived!!!
The owners went out of there way to provide things that we might need. We stayed here as we made day trips into Glacier National Park.
The only thing that was a bit hard for us was that the queen bed is right next to the wall; if you have to get up in the middle of the night (like I do), you have to crawl over your partner. But other than that it was just perfect for us.
It was very clean and neat and handy to GNP. Would recommend it highly.
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and well-equipped. A great place to relax after a long day of hiking at Glacier National Park.
My wife and I stayed at the cabin for a week in August. We used the time to explore Glacier and the surrounding area. We have nothing but good things to say about the place. It's very cozy and very comfortable. It had everything we needed -- kitchen, grill, laundry, air conditioning, wifi, etc. The location is good, although if you plan to spend a bunch of time in Glacier you should be aware that it is about half an hour from the West entrance. Not a big deal but just something to consider. That said, we loved our stay and would definitely come back!
We arrived early in the day and Lori and Doug welcomed us with open arms. The property was extra clean and very well equipped and had a lot of extras.Enjoyed talkin with Doug a real Christian. He gave us great information on where to view Elk and Buffalo. If we are lucky enough to go back to Big Sky Country we will stay at this beautiful property. Thanks Jim & Cheryl
