This is a water's edge, spacious, stylishly furnished apartment commanding magnificent views of the historical Malta Grand Harbour. Accommodation consists of a spacious living room (equipped with TV, DVD, stereo and wireless internet connection) and adjoining dining area. Large doors from the living room and dining area open onto the balcony, offering splendid 180 degree views of the Malta Grand Harbour. The open-plan luxury kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances. Sleeping accommodation consists of a master bedroom (double bed) with bathroom en suite, a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a third bedroom with one single bed. The apartment is child-friendly, with various necessities for a baby such as cot, baby changer and baby chair. A car parking space is also available.

Vittoriosa (also known as 'Birgu') forms part of the 'three cities' offering quality restaurants, wine bars, museums and an authentic Maltese environment, all within walking distance of the apartment.

Transportation: If you intend to rent a car, a parking space is available in the garage underlying the apartment.

Alternatively, buses leave regularly from Vittoriosa to Valletta from where buses leave to all over the island.

If you shall be collecting your car at the airport, we can meet you there such that you can drive behind us and locate the apartment easily. On arrival we provide information on local amenities (location of supermarket etc) and if desired, information on attractions not to be missed. Maid available on request. Babysitting can be arranged (lady who babysits for our kids).

Fantastic apartment - divine location

We chose the apartment to spend our family Christmas as the reviews were all so amazing.

Everything that has been said it so true. Our family of five (all adults) had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious and well arranged to ensure privacy when required, with good communal spaces for socialising and dining and a lovely balcony to enjoy the spectacular views.

Connie's father Francis met us as arranged and explained everything fully. The location is perfect - easy to access the ferry to Valletta, good eating/drinking spots in Birgu. It is so very quiet and relaxing in this old and very beautiful part of Malta - I would highly recommend a visit.

Fabulous place

Lovely large apartment with fabulous views,which are ever changing & especially. Magic when the cruise ships come in & out.

Very well stocked in all areas.

When the apartment has had the shower replaced,which I read is happening soon, it will be better as at the moment although the shower is fine the outer appearance is not good.

The only other problem is the cooker which has been over enthustically cleaned so all the functions & settings have been removed which makes it impossible to use.

We ate out most of the time but managed to burn the breakfast croissants l think we might have had the shelf to high.

Really helpful advice when we arrived & prompt responses to queries during our visit.

A perfect place to stay in Malta.

Amazing beautiful Birgu

Excellent location in Birgu with swimming outside the door, beautiful apartment, stunning views and all the comforts of home. Very charming hosts- so pleased to have found this gem! We will be coming back to visit again!

Apartment in a superb position on Vittoriosa

We stayed a week at this well appointed apartment with friends. Francis met us from the taxi and showed us around the apartment. Having arrived mid afternoon on Sunday in sunshine we were amazed to see rain on Monday morning. It continued to rain for 4 days which was such a shame. The view from the living/dining/kitchen area is amazing. We didn't make use of the swimming platform just below the apartment as the sea was just too rough but on a sunny hot day, it would be wonderful. Because the weather was so bad we spent most of the days sight seeing inside museums or churches. On the day that we had hoped to go on a boat trip to the Blue Grotto, the sea was too rough and we also didn't go to Comino and the blue lagoon for the same reason. Such a pity as I am sure if the weather had been better we would have loved swimming etc.

The apartment itself is very well equipped and in a peaceful area. As someone else has already said, it needs some refurbishment especially the en suite shower room but it was spotlessly clean. Local shops tend to close at midday until 4pm and are a little limited in provisions. It wasn't a problem for us as we ate out for most meals.

Would I recommend the apartment? Definitely. One day we hope to visit again.

This was quite unlucky as October is usually quite nice with beautiful blue skies. But perhaps this is a good excuse for you to return :) As for refurbishing, this in planned for the last months of 2017, when indeed we will be commencing with the refurbishment of the shower which is en suite with the master bedroom. Lovely place to stay!

The apartment was very spacious and well equipped with a beautiful view of the harbour. We had a front row seat for the firework display from the balcony. The people of Birgu are so friendly and helpful. We found many little shops tuck away in the village and of course great places to eat and drink. It was very hot during the first week of September when we were there which was above average so we were very glad of the air con. We went across to Valetta one day in the little water taxi which was fun and on our return late one evening the boatman dropped us off as near to our apartment as he could. We have every intention of returning again some day and will recommend it to our friends.

The apartment is located immediately on the waterfront in Vittoriosa (Birgu). Vittoriosa forms part of the historical 'Three Cities'. It is the location of many historical buildings dating from the period of the Knights of St. John. The apartment is located practically next door to the famous Fortress St. Angelo situated on the promontery and next door to the magnificant Cottonera Marina lined with beautiful (super)yachts and many facilities such as quality restaurants and wine bars. Within the ancient streets of this town one can find all necessary amenities such as grocer, bakery, bank , pharmacy etc. At the water's edge within 200 metes from the apartment you can take a very pleasant boat trip in a traditional Maltese boat to the capital Valetta on the otherside of Grand Harbour or to Sliema. One can also agree with the ferryman to collect you at a fixed time! A water-bus to Valletta is also available a few meters further on. This location offers a mix of history, luxury and an authentic Maltese environment. Moreover one can enjoy a dip in the lovely Mediterranean immediately in front of the apartment. A parking space is reserved for you in the underlying garage.

For cleaning after departure: €100.

Our preferred payment method is by bank transfer or by Pay-Pal. Alternatively, the reservation can be made via HomeAway family site/s. Please do note that once this option is selected there will be a 3% booking fee added to the quote due to site processing fees.

The security deposit will be refunded via bank transfer with bank charges incurred to the beneficiary bank account [should s/he not be in SEPA country]. Thus the beneficiary bank details will be required to refund the deposit.
