A well-appointed holiday rental 10 minutes from Boulogne-sur-Mer

The house, which sleeps up to seven, is very well equipped with a brand new kitchen, a large living/dining room, downstairs toilet and 3 double bedrooms and a spacious upstairs bathroom with a bath/shower unit. All rooms have excellent storage and the house is tastefully decorated and furnished. It is set on a hill, gets plenty of light and - set in a quiet cul de sac - offers a haven of calm. The sea is visible from upstairs and, on a clear day, Folkestone some 40 miles to the north east. There is a pleasant enclosed garden ideal for children or pets as well as a terrace and garden furniture for sitting outside. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, hob and fridge-freezer. There is a washing machine and dryer in the garage. A wide choice of local supermarkets and hypermarkets as well as the shops of Boulogne are all within a short drive. An ancient hill top church and forest are nearby - also miles of sand dunes and beaches with excellent swimming.

Lovely well equipped house with nice garden

Lovely house, well equipped with nice garden. Perfect base for our family to explore the area with beautiful sandy beaches nearby. Neighbours very friendly and house owner couldn't have been more helpful. We all (2 dogs included!) had a great holiday.

Gezellig huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een leuk verblijf, goede ligging, zeer rustig.

Wij verbleven met 6 volwassenen in het huis en hadden er een heel fijn verblijf. Ook voor kinderen is het huis goed voorzien. In de keuken vind je alles wat je nodig hebt. Alles is proper en netjes.

Het huis is goed gelegen. Op korte afstand van verschillende stranden, van de stad aan de ene kant naar verschillende gezellige dorpjes aan de andere kant. Wij verbleven er in de winter van oud naar nieuw maar ik ben ervan overtuigd dat het in de zomer minstens even tof is. Een heel andere ervaring met de Franse kust en de stad Boulogne sur mer en het charmante dorpje Hardelot. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. Een aanrader!

in angehmener Nachbarschaft. Gute ruhige Lage, kleiner komplett eingezäunter Garten - wichtig für unsere beiden Hunde! Ausgestattet mit allem Komfort und sehr sauber. Gute Aufteilung des Hauses, genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten und Stauraum. Unweit der grossen Strände und Dünen um Hardelot. Unkomplizierte Abwicklung und sehr gute Kommunikation. Vielen Dank - wir kommen gerne wieder!

The sea is omnipresent in this beautiful, at times wild yet often overlooked region of France evocatively called the Cote d'Opale or Opal Coast. Ancient fishing villages, miles of sandy beaches and dunes, forests, impressive war memorials, museums and cemeteries, lively walled towns such as Boulogne or Montreuil and chic resorts like Hardelot and Le Touquet all on your doorstep make this a perfect location for a holiday or short break. Local produce abounds, whether it is local mussels, enamel pottery at Desvres, glass crystal at Arques, lace in Calais or the local beer at Tardinghem. The area is criss-crossed by walking and cycling routes and nearby many sports are also possible along the expansive sea shore including supervised bathing. Two of the best golf courses in Europe are located in nearby Hardelot. Further afield, Bruges can be visited on a day trip and some impressive WW2 museums are also in the area, including la Coupole where the V2 rockets were built.
