A customized lower level apartment in the quiet woodland settings of Fairview NC. Just a fifteen minute drive to downtown Asheville and a similar distance to the historic Biltmore House/Village and Grove Park Inn. Equally close is spectacular Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park. The Asheville airport is about a 20 minute drive.
The apartment has an open plan design with plenty of natural light in the sitting room, dining area and kitchen which hosts granite countertops and bar. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and enclosed toilet. There is a queen sized bed in the separate bedroom along with a generous closet and dressers. The location is ideal because it is in an extremely quiet and private neighborhood with 1.25 acres, yet only 15 minutes to downtown Asheville and Biltmore Village, 20 minutes to the airport, and 15 miles to beautiful Lake Lure. Great hiking all around too. READ REVIEWS!
We are set in woodland but still close to local amenities. It is a wonderful place to live and all our renters have commented on the beauty, tranquility but also its proximity to major highways and the nearby city of Asheville.
The house was so spacious and clean. We had such a great time! Would stay there again. Great mountain views and privacy. Lots of windows to enjoy the views from the inside as well.
We spent 5 nights at this apartment. Everything was clean and spacious. The added treat was being able to sit quietly on the wrap around deck and enjoy the quiet. Marsha was very helpful.

A wonderful and relaxing hideaway with a beautiful view off the balcony. The owner is very accommodating and it was exactly as described. We could easily spend a month and the location although not in town is worth the drive which is convenient to access the highway. A good value and we would definitely stay and recommend this property.
The monthly rate for this nicely equipped rental was very reasonable. The house location is a cross between "in the country" (cul-de-sac, surrounding woodland, access via one-lane bridge past grazing cows) and "convenient to everything" (10-15 minutes to I-240, I-40, Blue Ridge Parkway, and of course Asheville). Use of a garage and laundry facilities are big pluses for the long-term tenant. The owner is friendly and accommodating but not intrusive. Only reason I didn't give five stars is that a few things needed attention (e.g., broken toaster, lack of garage door opener, missing light bulbs).
After staying a month in this wonderful apartment, I booked another month. Great setting in the mountains with lots of beauty, peace and tranquility. Just what I was looking for. Marsha was an excellent landlady, always helpful and friendly. I plan to be back next year!
