Nous avons passé un moment très agréable à FIDJI, bel appartement moderne, très confortable, bien décoré. Accueil chaleureux de la part de Fanny et Alex, toujours prêtes à nous recommander une belle plage ou un bon resto ! Vraiment, je recommande ce logement. La plage, devant la résidence, est splendide.

Memorable well spent at FIDJI, very modern, comfortable, very beautiful. Alex and Fanny are very reliable and always willing to give recommendation on the various beaches and restaurants.

I recommend this apartment to anyone, he beach is right in front the apartment , it is amazing.

Vraiment super !!!

Nous avons séjourné dans ce magnifique appartement avec nos deux petites filles. C'était merveilleux. L'appartement est spacieux, très agréable, bien décoré et très bien équipé. L'emplacement est extraordinaire, les pieds dans l'eau. La plage de Gd Case est splendide , l'eau est très claire, la mer est calme, ce qui était parfait pour les filles ! Les petits restaurants sont à proximité, très pratique.

Vraiment une belle location !

L'accueil, effectué par Alexandra, a été très professionnel et chaleureux. Toujours très disponible, par téléphone comme par mail.

C'est sûr, nous reviendrons bientôt !!!

We stayed in this magnificent apartment with our two girls. It was wonderful. The apartment is spacious, very pleasant, decorated well and very well equipped. The location is extraordinary, feet in the water. The beach of Gd Case is magnificent, the water is very clear, the sea is quiet, perfect for the girls! Beach restaurants are nearby, very practical.

Really a beautiful rent!

The welcome made by Alexandra, was very professional and warm. Always very available, by telephone as by e-mail.

We shall soon return !!!

Très bel appartement ! Très belle plage, le spot est fantastique ! Fanny nous a accueilli gentiment, elle est vraiment adorable !!! N'hésitez pas à demande à Alexandra de bonnes adresses de restaurant, elle peut aussi vous réserver une sortie en bateau comme pour nous ! Et puis j'adore SAINT MARTIN :-)

Great and exceptional place. Beautiful beach and the ideal spot on the island. Fanny is one amazing person, love what she does.

Alexandra is always available to give great advise on the perfect place to dine and various venues.

Poorly maintained

Just came back from our 2-week trip to SXM! We stayed the first 10 days at Bleu Marine Fidji apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and located on the beach; however, it needed some upgrading. Parking the car was an everyday challenge (we had a small Corolla). There was underground parking, but it was even harder to park. The parking space was so little, that my dad had to crawl out by the passenger seat in order to park and get out.

Another big issue was the shower on the second floor which had no cold water at all. Therefore, we had to shower very fast. The condo manager told us she would send someone to check the water and fix it, which never happened.

Another problem with the apartment was the elevator. On the VRBO site, the elevator was part of the characteristics of the apartment. My mother having health issues, me having had surgery a few weeks before and my father having back ache, let me tell you: carrying luggage and groceries from the basement and lobby to the 3rd floor without an elevator was a hard and dangerous task. The elevator was out of service our whole stay until the very last day.

Also, the bathroom door knob on the first floor was broken. Whenever someone tried to open the door, the door knob would stay in our hands and not on the door.

We also had issues with the A/C units. The one in the living room did not work at ALL. They did not send anyone to fix it. They said they would only fix it after we left. The A/C remote from the bedroom upstairs did not work, so we had to borrow the remote from the other bedroom.

During the second week, the internet stopped working and so did the TV for 3 days. The answer we got from the manager was a bottle of wine, which is even more frustrating because she ignored our calls until we put our phone caller ID as unknown.  The worst part is that instead of trying to send someone right away, they blamed it on the neighborhood saying there was construction, which is hilarious, because our neighbors downstairs with the same internet company had internet and so did the people a few houses down.

While booking, the building manager was extremely nice, she even bought a small grill for us and answered all of our questions. But she didn’t fix any of the issues, and she even asked us to pay an extra conversion fee for USD to Euro.

The apartment is not worth the price. We paid for an apartment with wifi, elevator, TV and A/C. Somehow they managed to all stop working for over 2 days. I

Owner's Response: Let’s be crystal clear about this particular situation. * Reservation made for 4, and at the arrival day they were 5 (Not the same price !) And special price with discount ! * Before making their reservation they asked for a barbecue, which we did not have but we manage to buy one for them as their request as they seemed really nice. * When they decided to reserve, I have been nice once again to accept for the 50% at reservation a western union cash transfer (that we usually do not accept) No fees for them. * I also let them give to my assistant at their arrival the deposit in CAD which is suppose to be only in EUR or USD * Furthermore, when they arrived they did not give us the right amount left to pay we had to ask for the remaining. Regarding the different other issues they mentioned above : * Concerning the blackout, it was an half of the island blackout è out of our control (It is part of the inconvenient of leaving on an island) * When the power had been put back they usually put too much power and it had burn the magnetic card of the living room AC. And a technician did come with my assistant to check and we could not have it repair before they departure. * Problem with internet : problem with the outside cable. So I am really surprise to hear that downstairs in the same building a person had Internet with the same provider when even your neighbor did not have it. è out of our control. * You forget to speak about the TV which was disconnected because of you, my assistant came especially for that 2 times when you were on the beach ! * Regarding the building elevator, once again what can we do other than calling the technician every day to have it repair, which had been done prior to your departure. It was not a private elevator so you were not the only one to have to walk the stairs (My assistant that was 7 and half pregnant did it every time you called us for any matter you had). è out of our control * When you said , that we never answered your call , you forgot to mentioned that you have been sending email and calling every day since the first day at every hours of the day (Sunday too…) and one I did not answer because I was working, you were calling my assistant right away and do not tell me she did not answer most of your call or email… * As we were sorry that everything arrived at the same time and that we could not do more that we have been doing, we tried to be nice once again by offering them a...

WOW! Magnifique!

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans l'appartement Fidji en mai dernier.

Nous avons ADORÉ!!

Nous prévoyons déjà y retourné!

L'emplacement est parfait à deux pas des meilleurs restaurants de l'île.

Directement sur la plage dans la baie de Grand case, la cour arrière est l'océan.

L'eau est magnifique et très très calme à Grand case.

Tout l'appartement est très bien équipé (cuisine, serviettes, TV, Wifi) Nous n'avons manqué de rien.

Les marchés sont à proximité, donc super facile de se faire à luncher dans l'appartement et de sortir souper le soir.

Nous avons été accueilli par Fanny et Alexandra, toutes deux super gentilles. Elles étaient disponibles pour répondre à nos petites questions.

Bref, nous avons adoré notre séjour!

An enjoyable week

This is a very comfortable place to stay, with a few exceptions. But, remember that you are talking to French people when you book this apartment and that some things can get lost in translation. Like how we were supposed to get through a locked gate with our car and how we were going to get into the locked building without keys. We assumed that there was a rental manager on premises. There isn't one. And your US cell phone won't work on the French side of the island, so phone numbers are of no use either. It took us 2 hours to finally get a hold of the rental agent, thanks to another rental apartment down the street that had a front desk. Parking is definately a problem here. We rented a small 4 door Kia so that luggage for 4 and us fit in the car. Anything bigger would not have fit in the parking area or the underground garage, and we constantly had to work around people taking 2 spaces. The only problem with the apartment were the two showers. Both are open to the bathroom, so soaking the whole bathroom floor was a very easy thing to do if you weren't careful. The downstairs shower head was broken when we got there and was hung on the wall with a piece of electrical wire and while hanging, the water ran down the wall. So you had to hang on to the shower head to get water on your body. The upstairs shower fixtures are too complicated and were always being left partially on. The water was constantly coming out of the shower on to the bathroom and bedroom floors. The only way we partially stopped the wet floors was to make a water dam with towels. The day we left we told the manager about the shower problem and he said that parts were on order from France. We told him to get rid of the current fixtures and put in a regular shower head and a hot/cold handle before someone ended up flooding the apartment. Other than that, we had a great time. Although the apartment isn't large, we never felt cramped and because the bedrooms are on two floors, there's tons of privacy. We ate at a different 5 star restaurant every night (within walking distance) and never had a bad meal; breakfast, lunch or dinner. We all spent a lot of time on our outdoor 3rd floor dining area too. Bring good binoculars! Lots to look at on the beach and the Bay.
