Girls Weekend

  • 5 of 5

This is a great location and amazing apartment. We were on a girls weekend so did lots of shopping, eating and perusing the near by galleries. The apartment is perfect for up to 4 people, singles, 2 couples or a family with 2 kids as one of the rooms has 2 single beds. It is close to everything and we walked most places. You do not need a car. We will be returning next spring and hope to stay here again. Elaine is lovely and very accommodating. I highly recommend Garde Manger and Olive and Gourmando.

Perfect accomodations in Montreal!

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Montreal. One block from the Old City - so you can get to all of the action easily but are spared the noise. Fabulous restaurants and all of the popular sites such as the Old Port and Notre Dame are just minutes away. When we weren't walking around beautiful Montreal - we loved lounging along the window sills sipping wine and watching the street life below. And, there is a fantastic spa right around the corner. The condo was beautifully appointed - down to the last detail. A small assortment of snacks like nuts and chocolates are provided, and every spice you can imagine, fabulous cutlery and cookery, and furnishings, along with lovely artisan soaps, an abundance of cotton balls and cotton swabs - little lotions - everything you need and more! Pablo was immensely helpful. And Elaine was very communicative and responsive. This place is a gem. It was perfect for our four day stay.

Beautiful Old Town location

  • 5 of 5

This condo is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful place to stay! Communications with the owner were timely and very helpful to answering any questions we had. The location is perfect for sightseeing throughout Old Town and experiencing what Montreal has to offer. Many beautiful galleries, fine dining, shopping and the riverfront are right there. There's plenty of space for a family to share, the bedrooms are quiet and away from the street and the underground parking space is a bonus. The condo is well equipped and the owner has thought of everything; from small touches such as soaps in the bathroom to spices for cooking in the kitchen. We've stayed in many rentals and this condo exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time and hope to return someday.

Old World charm with all the modern conveniences

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was the perfect girls' road trip escape. We immediately felt at home in this warm and welcoming apartment. Our every need or want was met, from the wine cooler and espresso machine in the fully-equipped kitchen to the candles and jacuzzi tub in the spa-like bathroom. And the location couldn't have been more perfect -- wonderful restaurants just blocks away in every direction, just steps to the waterfront and close to most everything we wanted to see. It was in a very vibrant, lively neighborhood, yet on a quieter block -- sleeping in wasn't a problem with the bedrooms in the back. The parking spot was a great convenience. We never used our car while in Montreal, but it was nice to know we had a private, secured spot.

Elaine kept in contact before, during and after our stay and was very responsive to all my emails. She did a fantastic job renovating the apartment, managing to maintain all the old world charm of the building while incorporating all the modern conveniences we were looking for. Pablo was a great host, meeting us at the garage door even though we arrived later than expected, showing us how everything worked and even left us with a bottle of ice cider to enjoy after our long drive.

Lovely Place, Great Location, Good Communication

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I and our two teenage boys really enjoyed this spot! It is in the perfect location to walk about in Old Montreal, yet has easy access to the metro to visit other parts of the city. Even after quite a snow storm we ended up walking a bit of distance in the underground, through China Town, and over to the other side of town near McGill University. There are many delightful restaurants nearby, too. We spent a few days at Mont Sutton so the boys could snowboard, which was easy access (about an hour) from the condo.

This rental was great for a family of four with the twin beds in one room. The boys appreciated the wifi. The included underground parking was a definite bonus. The pictures are representative of the actual rental.

It is always reassuring when renting in an unfamiliar spot to have responsive communication with the owner - Elaine answered every question and kept in close contact before, during, and after our trip. Also, Pablo was very helpful and friendly in helping to get us settled. The good communication was appreciated.

Lovely and Charming

  • 5 of 5

I decided last minute to celebrate my 50th by road tripping to Montreal from Philadelphia. I'm not one to stay in hotels so I did some fast research and came upon this condo. Elaine was fantastic, accommodating me last minute and Pueblo was there, friendly with a smile to let us in and make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. This condo is stunning! And it has parking which was a plus. I loved every thing about it , the decor is gorgeous! I found it to be comfortable, warm and inviting, with every amenity you could ask for. We loved it so much that we stayed in one night ordered take out from The Keg ( right down the street on E. St Paul) lit a fire, took a hot bath in jacuzzi tub and just enjoyed the ambiance.

The neighborhood was fantastic and even though the metro is near by we found that it was very easy to walk and navigate our way around the city. The city was already decorated for the holidays which made it extra special.

This was my first trip to Montreal and I intend on coming back in the spring. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this condo is available when I do. : )

I would highly recommend the restaurant Le Vin Papillon , its a small intimate wine bar with a small food menu, but I promise you won't be disappointed.
