Just one mile from the University of Oregon, Meadow View is perfect for visiting the U of O. So close to campus yet in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood. The Meadow View property is across from a beautiful oak savanna which 50 years ago was the back 9 holes of Laurelwood Golf Course and today is undeveloped parkland. The street is one lane and dead ends 6 doors from Meadow View where the the city's Ribbon Trail system, a jewel for runners and walkers, begins. In addition to its close proximity to the University, Meadow View is just minutes from the Matthew Knight Arena, Hayward Field, Hendricks Park, restaurants and downtown.
Bright and spacious, the master suite has a clean, modern feel and is newly remodeled featuring a luxurious King size bed, efficiency kitchen and new bathroom with large tub. With a private entrance and private patio area, you will feel like you are in your own retreat while you are a guest here.
Or, choose to reserve the cottage on the upper level of the property (sleeps two), featuring a full kitchen, vaulted ceiling and skylights. Guests who have stayed here have described it as private, quiet and cozy and it has gotten rave reviews over the years.
You'll find the kitchen supplied with the makings for a basic breakfast - organic fruit, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, coffee and a variety of teas. Prepare these at your leisure and enjoy breakfast on the front patio if you wish.
Relax and enjoy our 'front 40', the oak savanna, good walks in the woods leading into Hendricks Park. There are maps available of the trail system and more, allowing you to get out and explore all that Eugene and Lane County have to offer.
One recent guest said: 'Loved the location and ease of getting around from this beautiful neighborhood to the university campus. After spending time hiking, visiting, shopping and of course, eating at the great local restaurants, I came back to a delightful and peaceful place to rest. The owner was gracious and attentive and I felt welcomed and cared for through the many thoughtful touches she has provided both indoors and outdoors. Will return again!'

A long time Eugene resident, I love this home, especially the gorgeous location and enjoy sharing it with visitors. I take pleasure in being able to walk out my door and have a good hike through grassy knolls, fern and fir forests and sun-dappled oaks. I like to share the beauty and tranquility of this site and offer it to you for your fun and pleasure.
Peace and quiet. Location.
We went for a volleyball tournament and really enjoyed this rentail. Dralyn is very responsive and very helpful. The main house was clean and furnished with everything we needed. It's in a central location and very quiet area. Will definitely book again when we're back in Eugene.
We have a 15+ year old tradition of coming to Eugene for a Ducks' football game with friends of ours. We always plan on spending two weekend nights. This year I located Dralyn's cottages. Both units were terrific. They were clean, charming, comfortable, conveniently located and quiet. There are great walking trails nearby for some brisk morning exercise. We are going to add other sporting events to our tradition and we will definitely book again.
We really enjoyed our stay in the master suite. It was a lovely setting to come home to after football game and attending events on campus. We will certainly be back for another stay as I slept great!
This studio is cozy and spacious, with all that you could ever need. Dralyn was a wonderful host. Thank you! We will be back!
I knew before I arrived that I would be most content because Dralyn made herself so easy to reach, giving me her cell and email address right off the bat. She then contacted me on the day I would be arriving to pre-welcome me and ask if I needed anything. When I was late arriving, past her bedtime, she kept the lights on for me and made sure I felt comfortable getting to her place. The master suite was just the right fit, with a clean and comfortable feel. Dralyn helped me find numerous shops and restaurants yet never hunted me down....I kept hunting her down. She was easy to talk to, professional and comfortable all at once, as was her home. The trails RIGHT outside her front door, located on a very quiet street, were a much appreciated bonus....as was the tree swing that this 50 year old enjoyed each day. Thank you for making a potentially stressful four day visit a fun one. My daughter and I did a lot of laughing!

The area is one hour to the ocean, one hour to the mountains for skiing & hiking, and near to the McKenzie and Willamette Rivers for fishing and hiking. There are hiking/walking trails just steps from the property which lead into Hendricks Park. For longer hikes, drive just 10 minutes to Spencer Butte or 15 minutes to Mount Pisgah Arboretum.
