About Audrey Faust

Hello we are a family of 5, (3 teenagers) and dogs who love to come to the Poconos with us. We built this home in 2011 to some day retire in, but we cannot use it all the time so we thought we would share this home with others.

Audrey Faust purchased this house in 2011

Why Audrey Faust chose Blakeslee

We love Camelot Forest because it's a nice community that is preserving the natural beauty of the Poconos. It is also a quiet lake community where many gather on the beach in the summer and enjoy all the lake has to offer. There is also so many things to do nearby. Ski areas are very close too.

What makes this house unique

Jack Frost is just 4 miles down the road, a great ski area. Split Rock is right there too with H20 Water park, Movie Theater, Restaurant on the lake, etc.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This home is perfect for everyone! I went for a girl's weekend, but couples needing a romantic get-away or families looking for a fun- packed vacation will be delighted as well. It has everything you need to feel at home + great fireplace, huge deck, steps to lake, and anything you want to do a short drive away. We focused on relaxing and shopping/outlets when I was there, but saw the ski resorts, state park, water park, hiking, etc. I cannot wait to bring my family and take advantage of everything else it has to offer! My kids will LOVE it!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Gorgeous Lakefront Chalet on Lake Guenevere in Camelot Forest
average rating of 4.9375 based on 33 reviews

Beautiful, well maintained house and good lakefront location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful and well-maintained home on Lake Guenevere!

The house has great amenities (kayaks and canoes, bath and beach towels, sheets and bedding, ping pong/pool table, etc) ... we also appreciated the big selection of kitchen cookware etc!

It was a quick and easy walk for all of us (through the mossy, lovely woods next to the house) to get to the peaceful public lake beach.

There is a good-sized supermarket and a CVS just a few miles down the road which was very convenient!

We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!!!

Excellent Accomodation

The house was immaculate. The beds were very good. The owner was first rate in her communications. We rented for a six man golfing weekend, we plan to return next year.

Perfect in every way

  • 5 of 5

This was our third year and our third attempt to find a great vacation home in the Poconos. Well, our search is over and we have found our future go-to place. The home is just as pictured--but better! The neighborhood is quiet with another home on only one side, barely visible through the trees.

Our family of 6, which is my husband and I plus our 4 adult children, had plenty of room to spread out and find our own spaces, or hang out together. My two favorite places were the huge deck and the lovely master suite.

There is a Wawa about five minutes away, along with a dollar store and a grocery store, but otherwise there isn't much in the way of commerce close by. We drove to Lake Wallenpaupack and went tubing one day, and we biked at the Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail about 10 miles west, but otherwise we were happy to just hang out at the house, play ping-pong, swim in the lake, walk the dogs, bike around the neighborhood, or lounge on the deck. Every one of us agreed: terrific place and we will be back next year.

Home provided nice Poconos visit

  • 5 of 5

We had a very rainy week but we found things to do around the house and area. I'm not sure about eating out, we traveled out of Blakeslee to do that, but we mostly ate at the home. Luckily, all attractions are within an hours or less drive.

The home had everything we needed for a nice week. Camelot Forest is very peaceful and not many people were around. Unfortunately, that also included the lifeguard for swimming- no one showed up our entire week. I did contact owner and she was responsive but no lifeguard appeared.

We enjoyed the canoes and kayaks and lots of fishing! Being on the lake was awesome.

Plenty of room in the home. I'd recommend if you are looking for a quiet, low-key getaway.
