Why The Owner chose Prince Edward Island

We discovered PEI's serenity and charm during a day trip in 2007 and have been captured by it ever since. Whether sunbathing on beaches, swimming, enjoying the ocean views across expansive lupin fields, short walks or long hikes, horse back riding, visiting historical sites or other attractions each year we have yearned for our vacation time on the island. Our cottage is only a few minutes drive away from everyday shopping needs in North Rustico and it takes less than half an hour to get to Charlottetown and its own summer attractions.

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage abuts the National Park and we love walking to the beaches and cliffs to watch gorgeous sun rises and sun sets over the ocean. We also love simply exploring the shore line.

Perfect location...and great for dogs!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were looking for a quiet spot within minutes to the beach and attractions (golfing, restaurants etc.). This lovely cottage had everything we needed including lots of space for our border collie to run! There was an excellent information package provided and we loved the suggested 'dog friendly' beach! We actually found this location fairly central to many attractions but far enough away from all the 'touristy hubbub'. The golfing was phenomenal and there are many courses close-by to enjoy. Check out the Stanley Bridge Ceilidh featuring Leon Gallant (Tuesdays and Fridays) at the Hall. A wonderful two-week vacation!! Thank you Winfried!!

Perfect home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely perfect location and cottage. Quiet and scenic. Close to grocery store, restaurants, pharmacy and liquor store in North Rustico. Everything you need in a cottage is there. Highly recommend to all my friends and am hoping to get there again next year. Thank you Winfried!

Great Location and lost of land!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay, the cottage was clean and very nice. It is greatly located between cavendish and North Rustico. Our dog loved the the large land, lost of room to play ball.

The only thing missing was a firepit. Wish we could have spend some nights sitting around a camp fire.

Enjoyable visit

We enjoyed the stay in the is property immensely. It was clean, comfortable and well located. PEI has a difficult refuse disposal but we did our best. We would recommend this house!

Where do you live?

Mostly correct but beach is a bit of a stretch

  • 4 of 5

Area is certainly secluded. The front room overlooks the road and a farmers field. The ocean is approximately 1.6 km from the cabin by road and trail. BBQ was not cleaned upon arrival. Interior was nice but plain....a good retreat. Deck and chairs were good. Home borders on a private clothing optional property that had no effect on our stay. Good shower in bathroom. TV is small but functional. Home only offers one exit in case of emergency requirements. Agent who met us was on time and pleasant.

Property was very easy to find from North Rustico. Seafood was excellent (Dorions).

N. Rustico rental

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was quiet, clean, and comfortable. A few additional items would be nice such as a dishwasher, toaster, more utensils, serving platters, more mixing bowls, and a large pot for cooking lobsters. Overall, the owner was very helpful and the rental was a very pleasant experience.
