About Tarryn Neibaur
We, Brent and Tarryn Neibaur, built this home in 2000. We raised six children here for just over 10 years. We are an active family who enjoy the outdoors as much as I (Tarryn) love the comfort of indoors! Hence comfortable mattresses, clean quality bedding, soft fluffy towels, comfortable furniture all set in a homey clean atmosphere! We enjoy travelling and often rent vacation homes to accomodate our large family (now up to 13 almost 14). 2013 is our fourth year in business. I believe we get better all the time!

Why Tarryn Neibaur chose Bancroft
It is a large, clean, and comfortable home. Sometime during the off season we still run it as a Bed and Breakfast. Our guests enjoy all the 'little extras' such as good shampoos, bathroom products, soft clean towels, clean comfortable bedding, and four bathrooms and a powder room. A pool table, comfy couches, out door fire pits, bbq, volleyball, basketball, other yard games, 2.5 acres of lawn, access to BLM, allow for great family and friend bonding time. Work and family brought us to the valley, work took us away. The people, the mountains, the hot pools, access to two rivers, fishing, hunting, the peace and quiet are a few of the reasons that we own this little piece of heaven! We would like to introduce our newly finished over 9ft ceiling spacious walkout basement in November 2013! This includes another bedroom with a king bed, two bathrooms, a family room/ bunk room, and a second fully equipped kitchen.
What makes this House unique
I love the kitchen window! Probably the only place I have ever enjoyed washing dishes! Large porch to enjoy the shade, large sunny deck to soak in the warmth, large bedrooms, I could go on and on... the house has a lovely feeling. We added a fridge to the pantry. The newly finished basement complete with a full kitchen, two bathrooms, a bedroom, and huge family bunk room has turned out even better than we planned! You will love it here!

Relaxing getaway in the mountains
Well maintained inn....good for families and large groups. Nestled near the end of a rural road, a great getaway for those who enjoy nature and want some peace and quiet!
This is a giant home with beautiful, open spaces, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and gorgeous grounds. The hosts are warm and helpful. Highly recommended.
Peaceful off the grid location to reconnect with FAMILY!
A lovely rural setting for a family reunion! I arrived last and each family member greeted me by saying "this property is wonderful!" We MAXED out the allowed numbers for this location but the large closets in each bedroom served as great sleeping locations for babies and cousins. The basement bunks were a great location for the older teenagers to be. Each family unit had a bedroom and we were able to make it work. The kids were self entertained as the grounds are so beautiful with plenty of space to run an explore! The adults & teens played volleyball every night! There were extra tables and chairs with plenty of room to feed our crew. We enjoyed the fire pit with the provided firewood one evening. There are so many little sitting areas to enjoy on this property! The home does not have air conditioning but the night time temperatures were surprisingly cool and we were very comfortable. The only complaint I heard from anyone was that the hot water ran out fairly quickly. Lava Hot Springs was a short drive away and we enjoyed floating the river and swimming at the pools. Tarryn was so kind as to refer us to a local photographer that came to the property for some family pictures! We absolutely LOVED this peaceful setting and the opportunity it gave all of us to slow down from our busy lives and connect with family and nature! THANK YOU!
Beautiful and secluded
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn. It fit our large extended family perfectly! The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The yard was gorgeous with lots of little nooks in the trees to have a private conversation in the shade. We loved heading into lava hot springs for the day, especially floating the river. Great reunion house!
We appreciate your kind words about our property. We love it there and love that families and friends are enjoying it too!
Oak Hollow Reunion
Our family loved this place! It was clean with lots of room, and the grounds were beautiful. The kids loved the hammocks in the trees and the feeling of exploring around the property. We used the basement fridge for some of our food, but cooked only upstairs and on the nice grill on the deck. There are folding tables and chairs in the garage, and we set those up on the lawn for dinner each evening. We saw moose and a family of wild turkeys from the backyard. We used the fire pit and volleyball net. The master suite on the main level is beautiful. There is a basement bedroom with a king bed and its own bath, a very nice space. The basement has a large open area with beds for about 9 people where our granddaughters slept. There is a large bathroom with separate vanity that they shared. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, one on each end of the house and 2 in the middle. On one end is a suite with bathroom, and the bedroom on the opposite end has a bathroom across the rec room area. Be aware that the upstairs family suite connects 2 queen bed rooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom, and there is a loft that runs over both bedrooms. This makes it a little tricky for privacy and light and sound carries from the loft to the spaces below. The only caution, it the house is not air conditioned and the upstairs can be very hot. There are fans, and the temperatures cool nicely at night, but it does take some time for the upstairs to cool off.
We spent one full day at the pools in Lava, and another morning floating the river. A fun side trip is Soda Springs with its hourly timed geyser, and the spring where you can taste the water. It is full of iron, but if you take flavored syrup, ice, and half and half, you can make Italian sodas! The grocery store in Soda Springs is much larger and cheaper than the one in Lava if you run low on supplies. This was a great location and we highly recommend it. Tarryn was wonderful as a host.
Love your detailed review of our property! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the house and the area. We do plan on air conditioning next year! Hallelujah! this weeek I am addding those fans you put in the windows. We built the house out of the foam and concrete block and have always used the open windows at night and close during the day. However it seems summers are becoming warmer each year :)
Excellent location away from distractions. Very nice home with room for everyone. Even two kitchens.
