This large studio plus dining nook and relaxing patio is a natural and cultural oasis. The apartment has a separated dinning and slumber area with a queen bed, a fresh bathroom, and full kitchen. Free laundry onsite, lots of storage available.
It also boasts a view of Theodore Wirth Park and is located in the heart of the Bryn Mawr neighborhood. Bryn Mawr was just voted the “Best Green Space/Village Location in Minneapolis.” Peaceful and quiet, yet close to downtown via walking, car, bike, or bus.

We needed a place to stay in Minneapolis for two weeks and this property fit our needs perfectly. We have two dogs and did not want to stay in an expensive hotel for two weeks. This quant property was able to provide us with a dog friendly place where we could cook our own meals and have a base while we were in town. The diamond in the rough was the trail system across the street at Wirth Park and the great neighborhood the house is located in. We spent hours exploring the trails an truly enjoyed the park. If you are looking for a B&B with all the bells and whistles, this is not the place for you but if you just need a place to hang your hat for a short period of time it is great. Sarah the property manager was wonderful. She was very helpful and Johnny on the spot for our needs. The property was clean and had enough items so that we could cook and eat our own meals. The two drawbacks were if there were people upstairs their movements were annoying and also the heat is regulated from upstairs. Having access to the laundry room was an added plus. I would recommend this property to my friends.
We loved the location of this little get away. We rode our bikes around the lakes several times a week in our month long stay. It was also centrally located to so many of our family members so that we could jump on the freeway from different convenient locations and see them with ease. The shower was a bit small but other than that we were very comfortable.
When I booked my stay, this property was titled "Wirth Park Inn" and the description stated that the owner lived upstairs. Neither claim was true. This is not an inn, it is living in some guy's basement. The owner was, in fact, out of the country and would be so for several months. A week before my arrival date, I got an email from "A friend of the owner" who said she would be meeting me upon arrival as "the owner was not available." The day before my arrival she texted me to say she would not be able to meet me after all as she would be at a wedding for the weekend. We found the place, found the keys and settled in. There is no thermostat in the unit. The upstairs unit controls the temperature in the basement. I had a phone number for the friend who was at the wedding, and for the handyman. Never met the friend, but the handyman was most accommodating. The decor is mid-century thrift shop. The selection of cable channels is minimal. The oven is just plopped against a wall and without a vent overhead and every time I opened the oven door while cooking the fire alarm went off. The air conditioning died, and was out for a week. The owner did give us a partial refund for the days we were without A/C but that didn't make it any more comfortable in the room. The pictures on the web site show the wonders that can be accomplished with a wide-angle lens: This place is tiny. On the plus side, my dog was allowed to stay with us, there are laundry facilities on site, though the folks that rented the upstairs unit had many troubles trying to get access. Wirth Park is right across the street and that was lovely. I would not rent this unit again, ever, and I caution you to think twice before you do.
This property was a big let down. The area had many uncared for homes and the property needed attention. The grass was not cut and the unit was in need of updating. The door was very hard to open and that led to a couch that was dated. The ceiling was very low and the bed and couch were next together in a unusually tight. We did not stay and requested a refund but it has not been granted. I don't feel I would use this site again because it ended up costing me way more money as we then had to check in to a hotel. BIG mistake!! No stars.
This cozy space was perfect for us (a family of 4). We were wishing for a place close to family in Minneapolis while still being close to green space. The kids loved being so close to the beach and playground. We all enjoyed sunset walks around the park and neighborhood. We always felt very safe. It was quiet and we never felt like we were even in a city. The owner, Mark, was super helpful and very accommodating...the floor was cold, so he brought over a floor runner. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals at "home" including brand new frying pans. We enjoyed eating outside on the patio (there's a nice outdoor table and chair set and a grill). We'll definitely stay here again!
I stayed in this unit for 2 months as a transition for relocation, and the stay was exceptionally fantastic! The unit is fully furnished with kitchen, and thoughtfully maintained to every detail. It definitely provides much more than what you need. The owner Mark is also very helpful and definitely takes good care of every aspect of your stay. Mark does not treat you as an anonymous customer, he sees you as a friend.
Minnesota is famous for its beautiful lakes and forests. The park system of Minneapolis is No.1 in the US. If you live in this unit, 3 parks, one amazing forest, and one lake are right outside your door. It's so convenient to take a walk in the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary everyday, where the scenery is different every week. If you want to feel Minnesota, it simply cannot get better than this. Apart from the nature and the parks, this unit is also within close vicinity of major highways: I-394, I-94, MN-100, MN-55. Downtown is within 3 minutes driving. From there, all the famous places in Minneapolis is within 15 minutes driving, including the airport. Even if you don't have a car during your stay, a bus stop is right outside your door, and public transportation can take you to downtown and anywhere very conveniently.
When you travel and live in a new city, one thing you need to think about is the safety of your neighborhood. As a resident of Minneapolis for 5+ years, I can confirm that this property is in one of the safest neighborhoods in the whole twin cities area. Not only is the neighborhood safe, it is also very quiet. The neighbors are very friendly too. You feel absolutely safe and comfortable walking in the neighborhood, while being embraced by nature.
