Adequate but wouldn't recommend
The unit was bare bones - poor pots and pans (too small and not enough of them). No corkscew and no WIFI OR cell service in condo. Verizon completely unsupported. AT&T wireless only if outside! No board games, movies or television. Bring you own books, DVDs and entertainment if you plan on staying here but don't expect to be able communicate with anyone. Bring your own salt and pepper too - nothing is available.
Short stroll to lake and bike trail into tahoe city
Convenient location. Loved the 2 pools and hot tub. Looking forward to staying here again. Nice complex with walking paths and lawn areas which made it great for my little ones
condo was great
the sheets and towels were washed with some very heavily perfumed soap which was overwhelming for anyone who doesn't enjoy perfume.
having dishwasher soap and condiments was great!
Decent Place to Stay
While the condo furnishings are dated, most folks come to Tahoe City to be outdoors; therefore the condo is adequate. Most importantly, the new mattresses on the beds are nice and comfy and the condo is in a good location. We were out skiing all day and wanted to relax with some tv at night; however, some of the remotes are missing and when the power glitched twice, we had to start our movie over again from the beginning because without the remote, you can't fast-forward. We gave up the third time as we were near the end of the movie and it was too frustrating. There was only one wash cloth, one hand towel, and four towels for four people. While the four towels were ok, we were not about to share a wash cloth. I called the manager and was told they would notify housekeeping to bring more, but we never got any. We were there during heavy snow so we couldn't even find any bear boxes for garbage. On the last day we tried to take it to the dumpsters, but they were all locked. Fortunately, housekeeping had just gotten there and they graciously offered to take it for us. We had a good time and were fairly comfortable, but a little attention to detail would make it much better.
Next to Smokers
Wouldn't recommend during the summer months - no A/C, so it's hot and you'll want the doors & windows open... but, the adjacent unit's residents (permanent residents) smoke late into the evening on their patio. The units are so close that you could participate in their conversation from your bed upstairs, and they might as well be blowing their secondhand smoke straight into your mouth.
Unit would be fine as a crash pad during the winter months if you're just going to be out skiing all day.
Nice proximity to Tahoe City and Incline Village. Furnishings a little worn.
