This lake home is located in perhaps the most desirable location on the Whitefish Chain, on the east side of the lake where you'll see the most amazing sunsets. It's only 2 minutes from shopping, gas stations, restaurants, golf course, the Crosslake Dam & The Corp of Engineers camp ground and RV park. Where there are 2 boat launching ramps.
Come and relax at 'Peaceful Pines' with it's beautiful views of the lake, sandy beach and sugar sands all the way out to the end of the dock! You'll love experiencing amazing sunsets with a glass of wine while sitting on the large outdoor deck or on the beach.
It's a great home for families and friends to get a way for some relaxation and enjoy the lake life.
Our Cabin is located on 3 wooded acres with plenty of parking for boat trailers and several cars. There is 120' of sandy lake shore and clear water. We have newer docks with a solar powered boat lift.
The home has a large family room upstairs with a 12' long picture window overlooking the lake, a queen sofa bed couch, 2 very comfortable Lazy-Boy chairs, 2 small ottomans and a stone fireplace. There's a 50" flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo system for your enjoyment. There's also a large over sized A/C unit to cool the upstairs on those hot humid days. This room is the perfect relaxation spot after a fun day of boating around on the Whitefish Chain!
The kitchen was renovated a couple of years ago, with S/S & black appliances, granite tiled counter tops and maple cabinets. The dining room has a mid-century country french table that seats up to seat 8 people and a matching server/hutch. The kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, small kitchen appliances and tall he utensils you could need. There is also a kitchenette on the lower level with a refrigerator, sink and microwave oven, which is handy for keeping your beverages cold and snacks ready for the boat.
The master bedroom is located downstairs with sliding glass doors to the lower level walk out patio area. You'll have lake views from your bed. This room has a queen size bed, dresser, chest of drawers and a small walk in closet. The larger full bathroom is downstairs, along with a half bath right inside the lower level entry door. For quick trips from the lake.
There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one on the lake side of the house and the other on the south side. The lake front bedroom has a double/full size bed and the south room has a queen size. There is a 3/4 bathroom upstairs between the 2 bedrooms.
We have a laundry room with a washer/dryer and utility sink just off of the kitchen area on the way to the garage.
On the lake front deck that over looks the lake we have a table with 6 chairs which is the perfect place for those family meals while on vacation or cocktails while watching the amazing sunsets!
In the yard overlooking the lake, there's a large 8' wood picnic table and a fire ring for those evening bon fires and roasting marshmallows. This is a perfect location for entertaining your friends.
Looking out to the lake, there's a covered screen house that houses a Weber gas grill and an Weber charcoal grill. You can cook out even if it's raining!
For those wonderful summer nights we have a fire ring on the sandy beach.
This is the perfect get away home because all you will need to bring are your clothes & toiletries! It's move in ready!
All of these amenities will make for a wonderful get-a-way lake vacation that will give you life time memories with your loved ones.
Keywords: This is a great 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath, 2 story cabin right on Crosslake with views of the 2 islands. This home is at the center of everything!
My husband is a native of Minnesota and has been coming to Crosslake for part of every summer for over 60 years. Other family members first purchased property on Crosslake in 1948. We are pleased to be able to share this special place with others who will find the area charming and the perfect getaway place to visit and relax. It's a great place to build family memories.
Craig Lindholm purchased this cabin in 1998
We purchased our cabin in order to be close to family and friends in the area. Our adult children have formed a special connection to this location as well.
Crosslake and the Whitefish Chain of Lakes are exceptional. Our location is fantastic for swimming with sand bottom and gradual depth increases. Front-row seat for the July 4 fireworks and sunsets are beyond description. The convenience of being so close to local merchants, groceries and restaurants is a real plus. Last but not least, our neighbors are the best!
I am not sure you will find a more beautiful spot on Cross Lake to have a vacation. This place is within walking/biking distance to the grocery store, playground, beach, ice cream shop, and gas station. There is no need to drive the boat around to find a sandbar to play on because there is an awesome sandy bottom right next to the dock. The powered boat lift is another plus.
This was our second time staying here and we will be back again. The owners are awesome people who genuinely care that their renters have a great experience. You will not be disappointed in this property.
This was my first time visiting in Minnesota and the occasion was a family reunion organized by my niece who owns a cabin on nearby Daggert Lake. Peaceful Pines was the perfect location for my family and the cabin itself was all it was advertised to be. The kitchen has nearly new and modern appliances and is fully stocked with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishware, etc. We were a party of five adults and one infant and although the upstairs bedrooms are somewhat small, the cabin accommodated us very comfortably. For me, the most outstanding feature of this cabin is its location. The cabin faces west and the view of the sun setting over the lake each evening is spectacular. The cabin's shore front is all smooth sand all the way to the end of the dock, allowing for very pleasant swimming. I don't own a boat, but my niece came by with hers and we utilized the boat lift once or twice for an easy docking experience. Food stores, restaurants and shops are just a short distance from the cabin and there is even a small playground for young children within walking distance. All in all it was a great place for a family vacation and I highly recommend it.
This was our 2nd visit to Peaceful Pines. Quick review of our stay; it was fantastic. The cabin & grounds were in perfect condition upon arrival. The cabin is fully equipped from kitchen cooking & outdoor grilling gear to relaxing. The beach area is excellent as is the dock system & boat lift. Location makes walking to town for dining or groceries a 10 minute stroll. Due to being located on the east side of the lake, you can watch the sun set every evening directly across the lake. Peaceful Pines is a great place to visit for a summer vacation whether you are young or old. I am looking forward to our visit next summer. RDP
This is our second year renting this property and it was wonderful! We had the chance to meet Craig and Val and they are both so nice! The cabin is very clean and comfortable and it's in a great location. I would highly recommend renting the property!
The view from the cabin was beautiful. My family loves the Crosslake area, from fishing
to golf and many places to dine. We will be back. Any questions we had were answered
by Craig or his father who lives close by.
My wife and I have been boating on the Whitefish Chain and spending time in the Crosslake area for the past 5 years. We decided to book a cabin and spend a week on Cross Lake. We picked this spot due to it's location and sunset views, but that is only the start. The cabin is so clean and well maintained. It has a separate grilling "shack" with a Weber gas grill and a charcoal grill. The appliances are all new, the furniture, beds, TV, and other accommodations are all top shelf.
The patio has a glass top table with seating for 6 that overlooks Cross Lake with a spectacular view at any time of the day, but the sunsets are AMAZING!! The entire beach is soft sugar sand all the way out to the end of the dock. There is a fire pit next to the beach that is also a great vantage point to watch the sunset. The wireless boat lift was a major plus for our stay. It was nice not having to tie up the boat and hope the wind and waves didn't destroy it. (One negative is that there is no canopy for the lift so the boat is susceptible to the elements) However, having the lift available is a very nice feature.
I would highly recommend this property to someone looking for a great family vacation. The property lays out perfect for easy access to the town for groceries, ice cream, restaurants, coffee (all within walking distance). Plenty of parking space and a boat landing within half a mile. The cabin itself has 2 bedrooms up and the master in the walkout basement. Two refrigerators, one up and one down helped to keep food and beverages cold. It has one big wall AC unit to cool the house with fans available to move the air. If you don't have a great vacation staying here, it won't be because of the accommodations.
One of the best front row viewing locations of the 4th July boat parade and spectacular fireworks! This is a great spot to boat to the other 14 interconnected lakes on the Whitefish Chain of lakes. You can enjoy endless days of boating and fishing with your friends and family!
