My home is a modern, split floor plan, comfortable Santa Fe style in a great location. New kitchen includes granite and all stainless appliances as well as new washer/dryer and attached garage. The outdoor area is very comfortable with covered patio, large deck, water fall/feature hot tub and walk in gas fire pit with seating for 6-8 - all with a nice view of thunder and Wilson mtns.
Comfortable furniture and living area inside and 3 and bedroom, the master with attached bath, large closet and king bed.
Overall you will find is a very comfortable, convenient and beautiful place to spend some time in Sedona.

Sedona is one of the more beautiful places you can visit easily on the planet. I have been to many places, but when the opportunity arose to be part of Sedona, I didn't hesitate to become an owner.
My place is extremely centrally located and yet quiet. Many hikes within 5 minute drive or walking distance. There is also close proximity to shopping and nightlife, that does not interfere in any way with the quiet and serenity of my place. There is also the backyard wich includes a 30' covered patio, several sets of comfortable outdoor furniture and the adjoining 42' deck. The 8' water fall/feature pond allows for the soft melodic sound of moving water. There is also the BBQ, hot tub and walk in gas fire pit with seating for 6-8.
Our stay at Mark's home could not have been better! The location is great, set just far enough away from the uptown Sedona congestion, yet easy to get to all the amazing hiking trails. Airport Mesa is even within walking distance (tip: skip the paid "Airport sunset viewing lot", go to the mesa instead).
The house was even better than the pictures! Very spacious. We were a party of four, plus two dogs and had more than enough room. We loved spending time on the back deck in the evenings. Kitchen looks brand new and was perfectly equipped to make dinner, coffee, and grill.
This is truly a great value for the area, in my opinion. Would definitely recommend!
What we like - Well located, well maintained, clean, has garage, 3 serviceable bedrooms, 2 baths, good appliances, comfortable, good location near airport road and quiet, owner responsive, nice area in backyard with hot tub sitting area and waterfall, A/C system works, and no nosey neighbours or landlord.
Why not 5 stars? A 5 star property in Sedona needs killer views, this doesn't have that. Of course you can just go for a walk. It does have a few quirks such as the hot tub needs a windscreen, the dishwasher is in an inconvenient location, there's not a good sound system, and the cooking equipment (like pans, pots, etc) should be gone through and updated. However, having rented several houses in Sedona over the years this is a solid place and appropriately priced. I would rent there again and recommend it heartily in this price range.
Mark's house was great. It had everything we needed and was right in the middle of town. Convenient location, nice quiet neighborhood, great views. You are a one-minute drive to the Airport Vortex, which is great for a quick morning hike. The backyard was the best...large covered patio, fire pit, hot tub, and the relaxing waterfall. Mark was very helpful, providing lots of information regarding things to do in Sedona. He was also very helpful during our stay, easy to reach if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again, and hope to do so again next fall.
This home is nice and has a great location.
My Wife and daughters arrived 15 minutes early just as the housekeeper was leaving and we waited until the 4pm arrival time to enter the home. The home is well decorated and had everything you need to make it your home for the week. The house has great views since it sits just below the airport. Upon arrival, we read over the notes the owner leaves for the guests, such as the Wi-Fi password, how to use the fire pit, and to let him know right away if there is any damage or if something is not working. When we first got into the home and unpacked, my wife (who is a clean freak) took a look at the washer and dryer to make sure it was clean before we needed to use it. What she found was mud caked inside the washing machine and dried mud covering the drum in the dryer and the lint screen missing. After spending about 2 hours cleaning the washer and dryer, I sent the owner a message via this site and told him what we have found and did not get a response from him until our week was over. Needless to say, we did not use the washer and dryer because we don't know if we got all the mud out and did not want to have clean muddy clothes. I really don't care that I had to spend 2 hours cleaning the machines, things happen. But, what I do not appreciate is the owner getting back to me almost two weeks after I informed him of the issue and blaming me for what we found upon arrival. He sent me a message saying he was there with the cleaning lady and the washer and dryer did not have mud in them and the lint trap was there just before we arrived and I should check with one of my guests to see if they took the lint screen. My family and I did not travel over 2,000 miles and pay $1,200 to wash muddy clothes and commandeer a lint trap. So, the reply I got from the owner is that he was going to keep $142 of my damage deposit to replace the lint trap and have a service tech clean the dryer exhaust because it posed a fire risk.
I liked the house and location, but I don't think I would stay there again because of this issue. The owner said he was there with the cleaning lady, but the cleaning lady we saw when we arrived was by herself. I guess I have learned my lesson on renting vacation homes. I will inspect the home upon arrival and take a video and pictures with a date/time stamp of any damage I find and sent it to the owner instead of being a nice guy and fixing/cleaning what I find.
nice place for a home base when hiking in the Sedona area.
This was a very nice property located very well be n Sedona. We stayed there for the whole month of Aug and enjoyed the not only the home but also the nice neighborhood. We had a few minor issues but Mark took care of them in a timely manner. We hope to rent there again in the not-so-far future.
