This cozy and comfortable cottage is as cute as a button! Relax and enjoy the large back yard and the great neighborhood. The comfortable living room includes a leather sofa with dual recliners, ideal for watching the digital flat screen tv. All of the bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed, one with a queen-sized bed, and the bunk room with four twin-sized beds, have digital tvs, too. There are plenty of dvds and a whole closet full of board games available for your enjoyment, including pictionary (our family favorite!). There is a Graco PackNPlay in the closet for your little one. You don't need to pack your own. Set up the volleyball net or play horseshoes in the fenced backyard and have a picnic using the charcoal grill or the gas grill. The school playground is just a few blocks away, and the beach is less than a mile away, a short 2 minute drive. Casinos are as close as 10 miles. New Orleans and Mobile are a day trip away, too. Come enjoy the Cozy Cottage (bring your pet!). We love this house, and we know you will, too. Feel free to give me a call at 2284933878.

This was our very first home! We have just converted it into a vacation rental (2012) and are looking forward to others making wonderful memories there as well.
Joni Devitt Maloy (Johnny) purchased this house in 1988
This is a wonderful place to come and enjoy the beautiful Mississippi coast.
The beach is close by, as is shopping and the harbor. It's a great neighborhood for strolling or jogging.
We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cottage with our daughter and son-in-law from Michigan. It was much better than staying at a hotel and allowed us to prepare some of our meals in a home like atmosphere.
I highly recommend this for families or groups who want separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The alternative to staying in this house is a hotel room: one room, no kitchen, one window, parking somewhere down below wherever you can find it. Instead, for a little bit more per night, we stayed in this three-bedroom house with two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a carport and a big back yard.
The Cozy Cottage is like a home away from home, even stocked with amenities I wouldn't have expected, in case you forgot something at home or have a long stay. I stayed for ten days and the owner was very good with communication and eager to make sure that we had a nice stay. She even emailed us about local festivals that were going on during our stay, which we took advantage of!
The backyard is huge and shaded by trees, there's plenty of seating in the living room and in the backyard for entertaining guests. Minor drawbacks are that it's a one-car driveway and there's no backdoor (access to the backyard is through a gate in the fence, next to the carport), but it wasn't a big deal. There are about 9,999 channels on the TV (I'm not exaggerating), and a TV in each bedroom and in the living room. The beach is a 1-2 minute drive away. Every restaurant we went to was absolutely delicious: Harbor View Cafe, Steve's Marina, Rusty Pelican, Pirate's Cove in Pass Christian off Menge and 2nd St, Rickey's in Bay St Louis off Blaize and Hancock St (they both recently opened in their new post-Katrina locations so you might not find the correct addresses on Google maps).
We will definitely be staying here again ... if you are reading this, you probably better book it before I do. ;)
My family and I had a great time at the cozy cottage. My teenagers found movies to watch when it rained, we all loved the giant backyard, and the beds are beyond comfortable. So close to the beach and every place we wanted to go. The owner was accessible for anything we needed, and recommended some amazing restaurants to try. We will definitely be booking this again!
We had a wonderful stay at the cozy cottage, so close to everything we wanted to do, Bay St Louis Old Town, and the boat launch so we could go out to ship island. The home was wonderful! We felt very comfortable and at home here. The size was perfect for our group and the kids especially loved the trundle bed! The beds were so comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise, we're so used to uncomfortable beds whenever we're away from home, but not here! We will most likely return to this home in the future. The owner was very nice and helpful and even mailed some of my belongings back to me that I'd left behind. Thanks for that! I would definitely recommend this cozy cottage to family and friends!
The owner was very nice and the home was very comfortable. It's so nice to have a big back yard for the children as well.
We decided to go home for a last minute trip for Thanksgiving and booked here at the Cozy Cottage!!! It was absolutely wonderful! We were able to visit with family yet have our own space for our children and dogs to run around!! We would definitely recommend staying here!
We are frequent visitors to the Gulf Coast and this was our first visit to Long Beach. We will be back to stay again! Location was perfect. The cottage is located on a quiet residential street but just a few blocks for the main Gulf Coast Highway/Beach. We had tickets to a 2 night event at the Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi and it was an easy 15 min drive. The cottage was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked for those who opt to cook a few meals, plenty of linens and towels available and there was even detergent in the laundry room for a quick load. The tv had a million channels and host provided wi-fi. Best of all, we were able to bring our dogs with us and they loved the HUGE fenced backyard. The beaches in Harrison County (Biloxi, Gulf Port, Long Beach) do not allow dogs but Bay St Louis - an easy 15 min drive to the East - do allow dogs. Two mornings in a row of frolicking in the ocean left me with sandy dogs, a car full of sand and I'm sure plenty of sand for Joni but Oh Man, did they love the beach. The owner, Joni, touched base with us during and after our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back and visit again!
Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, Walter Anderson Museum, George Ohr Museum, New Orleans and Mobile one hour away, canoeing and kayaking
