A fantastic place for a holiday all year round with beautiful scenery, top class walking and a choice of 8 ski resorts within 1 hour drive! Annual world cup ski jumping and slalom events are held just minutes from the house. Ratece is a characteristic rustic village in an excellent position for exploring these wonderful mountains, just 5 minutes drive from Kranjska Gora & the Austrian & Italian borders. The famous Tamar Valley (home of the world famous Planica ski jump centre) is just a few minutes away & a breathtaking place for walking, as it the whole Triglav National park accessible from Kranjska Gora. Watersports on the Soca river are easily accessible for day trips as are the famous lakes at Bohinj & Bled. As for skiing it is easily possible to ski a different resort every day for a week [Kranjska Gora / Ratece (Slo) - 5 mins, Tarvisio (IT) - 20 mins, Arnoldstein (Aus) - 30mins, Kanin, Vogel & Krvavec (Slo), Sella Nevea (It), Gerlitzen & Nassfeld (Aus) - 60mins]. In the Kranjska Gora area there are an abundance of tourist facilities, from restaurants to bars, shops, spas & pools.

In the Kranjska Gora area there are an abundance of tourist facilities, from restaurants to bars, shops, spas & pools. Villa Nebina is a fantastic base for exploring the wide variety of skiing in the region in Slovenia, Austria & Italy. It is easily possible to ski a different resort every day for a week [Kranjska Gora / Ratece (Slo) - 5 mins, Tarvisio (IT) - 20 mins, Arnoldstein (Aus) - 30mins, Kanin, Vogel & Krvavec (Slo), Sella Nevea (It), Gerlitzen & Nassfeld (Aus) - 60mins] and the various ski areas offer a wide range of beginner to advanced level and off piste skiing and other Winter sports. There is a fantastic Nordic ski centre with a range of trails within walking distance of the house.
