Quiet and relaxing.

We had a great week. The cottage had everything we needed. Zahia was wonderful and very helpful. It was so nice having a place to go that allowed us to bring our Jack Russell since it is hard to leave him behind. We hope to rent again!

Perfect quiet lakeside getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Let me just say how great the value is of this location-- especially for the price. Based on some of the reviews, I had some concerns but I honestly have no idea why people are surprised about some gnats and spiders by the lake.... also, there is seaweed because.... it's a lake. There is a rake to clear out some seaweed, but you can bring floaties and glide right over it (it doesn't bite ;)). The whole place was very clean, the mattresses we're a bit loud moving around too much, but not uncomfortable. We all got a great nights sleep regularly!

This part of Honeoye lake is so peaceful. There were few boats and it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere instead of barely 10 minutes from town.

The outdoor area is small and cozy, but was perfect for the four of us and a pup to hang out comfortably.

Awesome location, wonderful owner, great inexpensive vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

Water was the only concern. We were notified that the water was sourced as "well water" so we planned accordingly and all was perfect given those expectations. The owner expects municipal water connection in the fall of 2017 but otherwise the house was amazing. Quaint and small but located on a beautiful parcel of lake-front property. This place will only rise in price as the water situation fixes and people realize the value of such a vacation spot.

Beautiful 13" + large-mouth bass were caught from the attached dock/pier (personal pics not included) and even bigger fish are to be had within the great expanse of Honeyoye lake. This was truly an inexpensive adventure into one of the finger-lakes most wonderful spots, and a memorable place for a romantic getaway! Kayak rentals are just across the lake (West side, versus the houses location on the east side).

The owner is such a sweetheart and seems like she would go above and beyond for anyone! We personally met and spoke with her and everything she said was true, succinct, and thoughtful! Simply call her or message for proof! (Her info is provided upon booking!!)

Upstairs better shape. AC is window in bedrooms only. No wifi, very musty smelling basement Level

Bugs in kitchen - very tiny knat like and in living room, beds very uncomfortable, low water pressure, lots of seaweed in lake, small outside firepit area- too crowded, okay for last minute reservation but wouldnt book again. Cant even see/read directions on fridge- have to take garbage home with you.
