Located just 450ft from the Strand & Sand and two blocks from Hermosa Pier makes this property the perfect location for enjoying all that these beautiful South Bay, Los Angeles Beaches have to offer. This is a BASEMENT unit that locks off from the main house and has it's own entrance. The unit has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a pull out sofa bed in the living room. One bedroom has a twin trundle and the other has a queen size bed. There are TV's in the bedrooms. The pull out sofa is a memory foam mattress which is full size. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a stove top burner and a counter Breville convection oven for baking and toasting. The windows and door in the pictures open to a narrow breezeway. There is no view of the beach. You have access to the rooftop deck which is 4 flights up. The roof has a small BBQ, outdoor furniture and lounges. The garage is also a shared space with the main house. Bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards and a surf board are there for your enjoyment. Each unit can park ONE car in the driveway. There are so many activities at the beach and depending on the time of your visit you may enjoy concerts at the beach, volleyball or surf tournaments, local wildlife and tons of shopping and fine or casual dining! This is a comfortable, clean lower unit with Laundry machines also available for guests. During the summer, we rent Fri-Fri. Please check our rates before inquiring. There is also the option of renting the upper 3 bedroom 2 bath with separate kitchen when availability allows.#444807

My husband and I lived in Hermosa Beach for 13 years and although we've been lucky to experience living in different parts of the country and even 7 years in Montreal, Canada our heart will always remain in Hermosa Beach! We enjoy all the time we are able to spend there and are excited to share it will others!

Awesome Location .......
Since retiring, we travel to the California coast to escape the brutal Minnesota winters for a month of fun in the sun! This year, we rented VRBO property #410924 in Hermosa Beach from Kirk and Mary Jo. It had everything we needed for the month ... a fully stocked kitchen, anything you could possibly want for the beach, it was quiet, a washer/dryer on site, a great rooftop deck for BBQs, and of course, bikes for the Strand! All this within walking distance (I mean hop, skip, and jump distance) of the beach with no busy streets to cross or traffic lights to navigate! The location was awesome!

Perfect Location during Renovation
We were renovating our house and needed a place to stay for 6 weeks, so we chose the Lower Beach Unit for three reasons: (1) location, (2) price, and (3) livable space. The unit was quite large, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Lower Beach Unit is well furnished and equipped (everything from dishes, to standard home comforts, to BBQ equipment, to a picnic basket), and very clean. It also has bikes (adult + child), a laundry room, deck, and is walkable to all the Hermosa Beach restaurants. Mary Jo was very responsive to questions, and was a very gracious host. We are so thankful that she could accommodate us during our renovation. I'd highly recommend this property to couples and families. Thank you Mary Jo for a wonderful stay!
The property description was accurate and the location was perfect.
This property came with everything you would need for a beach vacation, bikes, chairs, umbrella's and wagons to pull everything.The landlord was available to answer any questions that came up. The property was clean and well maintained.The rooftop patio was a Hugh bonus with a gas grill and a perfect place to enjoy a drink and relax.The beds were comfortable including the pullout sofa.I would highly recommend this property and plan to stay there again next year.
Great place in a great beach community. Perfect location! Everything you'd need for a fun beach vacation. Walk out your door and walk right to the beach. A few blocks from Pier Avenue with all the shops and restaurants. All the fun beach gear you need. The bikes were great to ride down the Strand. There's a nice rooftop hangout. We stayed in the lower level of the property. Thanks, Mary Jo. We had a great stay!

Although small this unit is located just off the beach and within walking distance to everything at Hermosa Pier! It is a GREAT location! We now offer one parking spot in the driveway per unit.

Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. Please inquire for an accurate quote. Rates may be higher or lower depending on dates and length of stay. Payments terms: Usually split into three payments. (1st due now , 2nd due 30 days prior to check-in, and last payment is 15 days prior to check-in) Housekeeping covers a basic clean and laundering of linens and towels. It does not cover additional cleaning required to clean personal messes left behind by renters. The cost to cover additional cleaning requirements will be deducted from the $500 damage deposit. All damages will be deducted from the damage deposit.
