This detached villa is situated in a residential area which offers some of the most picturesque sea & mountain views of the whole region. It is easily accessible from both Valencia & Alicante airports (approximately one hour’s drive away). The villa is situated on the hillside just above the town and it takes approximately 8 minutes to drive into the town and a few more to get to the amazing beaches. The accommodation is ideally set on one level and is well laid out and tastefully furnished. Outside there are terraces to the front of the villa with seating and sun loungers. To the rear there is a garden and barbecue area and entrance to the large communal swimming pool which is shared with only two other villas. The villa is both a family and a romantic getaway. It is also an ideal base to discover the region or for house hunters. The villa is available to let on a weekly basis all year.

Golfing: For golfing enthusiasts there are many excellent golf courses in the area. In Valencia located on a narrow stretch of dunes and dense pinewoods separating the Albufera Lagoon from the Mediterranean Sea is the El Saler Golf Course, ranked among the Top 10 in Europe and Top 100 in the world. The adjacent Albufera Lagoon is a vast expense of brackish waters and rice paddies, which is also a natural reserve full of birds and wild life. Other courses in and around Valencia include, Club de Golf Manises, Club de Golf El bosque & Club de Golf Escorpion. The prestigious Oliva Nova Golf Course is within a 20 minute drive from the villa. This course was designed by Seve Ballesteros, is reasonably priced and boasts an excellent clubhouse with restaurant. Nearby La Sella (Denia) & Javea golf courses offer excellent driving ranges and facilities.

Leisure Activities: Most local beaches offer water sports including water skiing, surfing, wind-surfing, kite-surfing and diving. Horse riding stables are located next to Oliva Nova Golf Course and there is a go-kart track nearby. Oliva Nova Beach and Golf Resort has a spa and wellness centre and offers beauty treatments. Within 30 - 45 mins drive you can visit Vergel Safari Park, Mundomar Sea World, Terra Mittica Theme Park or Aqualandia Water Park. You could also visit Ibiza on a day trip from Denia port, a 25 minute drive away. There are other boat trips to be enjoyed, which travel up and down the coast and to nearby islands. Alternatively, why not enjoy a day out discovering the nearby mountains and lakes in an off road experience.

Why Clare Thibaut chose La Font d'En Carròs

We love our villa which we try and visit at least once a year - if we didn´t have to work ;-) we would spend much longer than 2 weeks a year there! We love the fact that it´s comfortable (we chose all the fittings), that it´s in a quiet neighbourhood, has fantastic views and is close to everything: the town, the beach, the shops and attractions. Whilst at the villa, a typical day for us would be to get up late, go down to the town to buy a 'pollo asado' from el rostidor and then go to the Mercadona (supermarket) for some bread, ailloli and chocolate (we are chocoholics). We then head back up to the villa, eat our meal on the front patio gazing at the world going by (it´s like watching Sim City) and mooch around, with maybe a dip in the pool (which also has some great views). In the evening, when it´s cooler, we like to head to the beach for a walk, then back up to the villa to watch the sun set and, if we are lucky, some fireworks. Then we usually check out our extensive DVD collection and relax.

The villa is centrally heated and offers very good accommodation. Patio doors from the lounge lead out to a lovely terrace with stunning views, dining table & chairs and sun loungers. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped including the all important holiday essential - a dishwasher! The bedrooms are light & airy and have ceiling fans for the warm summer nights. The communal pool is shared with only two other villas and is cleaned and serviced regularly. There is a washing machine located in the under build area. There is a portable iPod player in the living room. N.B. There are about 14 steps from the street to the front of the house as well as a few steps around the outside of the house leading to the back terrace and pool.

Fantastique, une fois de plus !

Cela fait plusieurs années que nous profitons de cette villa pour les vacances.Et à chaque fois, nous nous y sentons comme chez nous.

La maison et la piscine sont bien entretenues (2x/semaine pour la piscine).

Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très réactifs pour les questions éventuelles concernant la location.

Tout est fait dans les règles de l'art (contrat, arrhes, caution).

Situé entre Valencia et Alicante (1 heure de route), il y a un tas d'activités à faire dans la région.

Nous y reviendrons sûrement.

Sehr zu Empfehlen

Wunderbares Häußchen, sehr sauber mit allem eingerichtet was einen angenehmen Aufenthalt sichert. Zugang zum Pool, der regelmäßig gereinigt wird. Zwei weitere Häuser nutzen den Pool, wir hatten das Glück ihn allein für uns zu haben. Abgelegen auf dem Berg, mit Auto jedoch in weniger als 10 min in Oliva. Super Kommunikation mit Besitzer und Verwaltung. Sehr zu empfehlen! WIFI wäre wünschenswert

Nous avons passé une semaine fabuleuse : calme, détente, à 15 mn de la plage et des commerces. La piscine est grande et agréable à toute heure de la journée. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée (les enfants ont été ravis de découvrir des films français de la DVDthèque aux heures où il faisait 40°C). Le quartier est très joli avec une vue formidable sur les montagnes, la ville et la mer. La plage est très vaste avec du sable fin et bien sécurisée. La villa est à conseiller pour des vacances en famille et pour découvrir les caractéristiques de l'Espagne.

Situé dans les hauteurs d'Oliva, belle vue d'ensemble.

Piscine Propre et entretenue.

Villa propre, bien équipée.

Calme et reposant, le contraire des locations en bord de mer (usine à...), au milieu des habitants espagnols pour la plupart.

Super villa!

villa oliva

j'ai loué cette villa 15 jours pour l'été 2013, elle correspondait à nos attentes, elle est très propre et entretenue. Nous avons profité de la piscine à toute heure de la journée. Cette villa est en retrait de la ville (calme).

Propriétaire sympathique et à l'écoute. Toutefois, un abri ombragé pour la voiture aurai été le bien venu.

Cette villa est à recommander.

The above weekly rates include meet and greet, linen, towels, cleaning at the end of the rental period as well as all charges. The arrival date is negotiable and the weekly rate will be pro-rated for any stay over a week.
The house can by accessed from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
