Lovely cabin

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was lovely for our group of 8. And we absolutely loved the views from the back porch. A great place to spend a few relaxing days in the beautiful Georgia mountains.

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a great time. The house was perfect and view was beautiful. It was a little difficult to locate the river and we didn't locate the house with weight room, fire pit etc. We had an amazing time though and will definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was very spacious and clean. It was a very short drive to downtown Hiawassee which was nice. My only complaint was that there wasn't any seating around the firepit, but that's an easy fix. Highly recommend this cabin to friends and family!

Lovely cabin.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is beautifully decorated and has a great porch with a lovely view, Downstairs could use additional lighting, but all-in-all the boys loved their "man cave" with big screen TV and pool table. The location is very convenient to Hiawassee and Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia, which is well worth a visit. The only drawback is the narrow road in and the steep hill up to the cabin, but that's mountain real estate for ya! This cabin does have less pre-stocked than some of the others we have enjoyed through VRBO. Be sure you bring paper products, soap, trash bags, etc...We had a very nice time.

Owner's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. Just for clarification, our cabin does not have a basement. Our cabin is three stories. The back of the first floor is built into the mountain with a front porch extending the length of the cabin. Lots of sunlight downstairs and a lovely view.

Map

Free river access from cabin as part of the home owners association with additional 1,000 feet of private trout river on private property available for extra fee (5 minutes from cabin by car). Shaded part of the river with excellent fishing where it is not unusual to catch 12 to 18 inch trout (see photo of our nephew at bottom of the page).
