This beach home vacation rental has everything you need to enjoy a getaway at the Oregon Coast, including one of the best locations in Manzanita. Walk less than a block to the beautiful sandy beach, and reaching downtown's shops and restaurants is just a five block stroll along the Pacific Ocean. The two bedroom vacation rental has plenty of old-school Oregon charm, but all the updated amenities you could ask for.
The upper level of this charming vacation rental is completely open, with comfy seating to lounge before the cozy wood stove. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and the compact space will help make clean-up easier since the home lacks a dishwasher. The dining nook has a table that seats four normally, although an extension and folding chairs make it comfortable for six if you have extra guests.
On sunny days, you'll definitely enjoy the ocean view from the deck. There is plenty of seating and a charcoal grill. For indoor time, there's the flat-screen TV w satellite cable, and the house offers high-speed wireless Internet for those who need to stay connected.
Both bedrooms are downstairs, along with the bathroom and laundry. The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom has a twin bunk bed for the younger (or younger-at-heart) guests. Upstairs, the living room's futon unfolds for a full bed, making the house cozy enough for a couple but spacious enough for up to six guests. Up to two dogs of up to 30 pounds are welcome, though a nightly fee per dog and a minimum fee per stay do apply.
Manzanita is a gorgeous small town filled with boutique shops, restaurants, galleries and a long stretch of sandy beach. For those that seek a little more adventure, Oswald State Park just north of Manzanita provides an excellent surfing beach as well as beautiful hiking trails and view points. You can take in the most beautiful view on the coast from the top of Neahkahnie Mountain to the north.

Great place to stay for a short amount of time. Bunny theme throughout the home was quite humorous! Bunk beds are nice for Children. However, it would have been nice, if ,there would have been an additional full size bed available in the property. Futon was really uncomfortable, due to bent frame. Overall. place was really charming and close to the beach. Nice Deck and cute kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay here! What a great gem to stay at for a beach get away!
This property is good size for 2-3 people, it has a great location with a huge deck that has a wonderful ocean view. The big slider door allows you to see the ocean from the living room and kitchen. It's not a very fancy place and they really need to get rid of the hard futon couch (which is very uncomfortable BTW), but it's very close to the beach and is a great place to unwind for a long weekend.
Assuming problems I mentioned are fixed, we might stay again but certainly not with more than 3 people (or 2 adults and 2 smaller children). Location is good, and the deck would really be nice during better weather.
One block from the beach, a few blocks from the main drag--pretty much a perfect setting. Kitchen upstairs, with a huge balcony with a view. We found it peaceful. Has the amenities (wifi, tv, equipped kitchen). Top-notch.
We had a good time at the little brown house. Very clean, and it was a bit larger inside than it appeared in the photo. We were quite comfortable with four adults. The deck was nice and big with plenty of furniture. The living room futon was comfortable--as was the master bed. There were plenty of nice towels. I appreciated having filtered water. Beach access was easy, and the neighborhood was very quiet. The stairs in the house are very steep. That wasn't a problem for us, but anyone with a balance problem or mobility problem should be mindful of the stairs. I would not bring a toddler there due to the stairs and the insufficient baby gate at the top of the stairs. A lovely stay, all the same. We'd go back.
I had a lovely mid-week stay here with my two children and dog. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, and the home was cozy and lovely. We enjoyed the large deck with view of the ocean, and spent a few pleasant days wandering down the street to the beach, and walked the few blocks into downtown Manzanita for coffee and snacks. Great location!
