About Chris M.
We love Hawaii and the ocean, sailing, surfing, snorkeling, photography, hiking and exploring. We bought this amazing home that we share with our special guests to really appreciate the beauty and serenity of North Shore, Oahu.
Chris M. purchased this House in 2015
Why Chris M. chose Haleiwa
We bought this home because the it was the most incredible home we had ever seen. The house is like a museum and has incredible views. There is nothing quite like it. The property has park like grounds, a garden with fresh vegetables, fruit trees and privacy. It sits on a half acre of ocean front property with 200 feet of ocean frontage. We know you will love the home as well as we do. It is amazing.

Great stay on the North Shore!
Our family of 7 adults had an incredible stay at this home. The home was bigger and even more beautiful than the photos show. And we loved hanging out on the back patio, pool, hot tub area. Wonderful view. Would highly recommend this property.
What a great time! We enjoyed every day at your beautiful home. We started off every morning sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and taking in the view. I think I miss that the most. It was hard to leave to do our activities every day but we did and then got to come back to the house and relax. The pool and hot tub were a great addition and were clean and ready to be used at any time. Other highlights were snorkelling out front and Waimea Bay down the street for a sandy beach and cliff jumping. We hit the Toa luau which was also right down the street and was great. Shrimp trucks were close and Ted's bakery was great for breakfast sandwiches and pies. Just a really good location. The pictures of the house are great but don't do it justice. It was much bigger than we thought it was going to be and the views out of every window were incredible. There was only four of us but we could have easily had another family join us. Mike was great for directions or anything you needed at the house. Thank you, we had a wonderful vacation.
Mahalo! Thats a wonderful review!
Everything from the moment we considered booking to the moment we left was perfection. The home is stunning, views are spectacular and the home is very well cared for and has everything you need for a fun-filled, relaxing vacation. Chris is very responsive and Mike, the caregiver, is accommodating, responsive and just an all around great guy. You will NOT be sorry if you select this home. Thank you, Chris and team, for a great week.
Thank You Lia for the wonderful review! We love having guests as nice as you!
This is a wonderful property. I can’t even find words to express how lovely our family vacation has been. Chris is a very nice and responsive property owner. My family is revolting about having to leave! It’s like having your own private resort. The pictures don’t do it justice.
Great property on the North Shore
Our entire family enjoyed this beautiful house and location. It was perfect for our group of 8 with plenty of room. We found it well stocked to meet our needs. The views from the house are breathtaking. It was everything we had hoped and more.
Mahalo Janice for the wonderful review!
You will not find a more amazing view than this home provides. To simply sit by the pool and watch the wonder of the Pacific before you is worth the price of admission -- let alone getting to stay in the beautiful home and magnificent grounds. Our family of eight enjoyed every moment and will long remember our dream vacation come to life. Thank you to Chris and Mike for help in fine tuning our options and making us feel so welcome. Much Aloha !!!
Thank You Debi for the wonderful review!
Our home is located on the North Shore 2 miles north of Haleiwa Town and 1/2 mile south of Waimea Bay.
The North Shore is known for its open space with very little development, beautiful country pastures, picture postcard beaches, turtles, fabulous surfing and the best snorkeling on the island.
Haleiwa has at least fifteen restaurants, many shops , grocery stores and a large drug store. Here you can learn to surf, or paddle board down the river, or go out for great fishing, or try the shark dive from a cage. Nearby is an airport if you like sky diving or take a glider ride and there is a Polo field and horseback riding.
There are excellent walking and hiking trails throughout the North Shore. North of our home one mile in the Pupukea area you will find ten or more casual eating trucks that serve pretty good food. There is a Foodland, which is a very well stocked grocery store. Here you will find great snorkeling at Three Tables and Sharks Cove.
North of that a half mile or so is all the famous surf spots, like Pipeline and Sunset Beach. Further north (5 miles) are fun activities at or nearby Turtle Bay Resort including Horse Back Riding, Four Wheeling, dirt bikes on the beach with big fat tires, tennis, golf, and a very fun zip line up to the mountain.
Waimea Bay (1/2 mile from our house) has a beautiful sandy beach where you can watch the daredevils jump off the rocks into the ocean. The water is excellent for swimming and snorkeling when the seas are calm (all summer long) and in the winter it becomes the expert surfer destination when the waves are big.
Waimea Valley consists of 1,875 acres and has been a sacred place for more than 700 years of Native Hawaiian history. Here you can take a casual walk through the World Class Botainical Gardens and Historical Sites 3/4 of a mile one way or 1 1/2 miles round trip to the Waterfall area. The area has 78 Ancient Hawaiian Archaeological Sites and has a World Class Botanical Garden Collection containing more than 5,000 kinds of tropical and subtropical plants. There is a good restaurant here, open for lunch and brunch. On Thursday nights there is a fun swap meet with lots of good Hawaiian food and products.
Once on the North Shore, it is an easy drive to Pearl Harbor or the East and West sides of the Island.
