Our Hawaiian paradise can be yours when you stay in our beautiful 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2100 square foot Big Island home located in KaMilo, a private gated community surrounded by the Mauna Lani North Golf Course. Entering, you will find an impressive cathedral ceilinged great room with a relaxing entertainment and dining area. Retractable sliding glass doors open to one of the three main floor lanais, allowing the indoor and outdoor spaces to flow together as you enjoy the comfort of the tropically appointed living area.
The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has Thermadore stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and African mahogany cabinets. If you enjoy outdoor cooking, the lanai is perfectly equipped with a gas BBQ and table with seats for eight.
This home will comfortably accommodate up to 10 and provides anything you may need for your dream vacation. For those concerned with stairs, the home provides easy one-level access to the entire ground floor, which houses three of the four bedrooms, including one master. One of the best-kept secrets of the Mauna Lani Resort, the KaMilo/Kulalani Recreation Center, is the largest in Mauna Lani and only a short walk from your home. It boasts a lap pool, a free-form resort style pool, a kiddy wading pool, two hot tub spas, a workout room with free-weights and exercise machines, expansive lawns, and a gathering pavilion with a Viking grill and outdoor kitchen for hosting parties or other special events.
For those that live for the beach, the Mauna Lani Owner's Beach Club is only a short drive down the road. We both grew up near the ocean, one in Massachusetts, and the other in California. We have been traveling to Hawaii since before we were married in 1990. The Big Island has drawn us back time after time. We found the slower pace and warmer weather of the Kohala Coast ideal. We enjoy all the outdoor activities - snorkeling, golf, tennis, hiking, fishing and especially whale watching. We hope that you and your family will enjoy and appreciate the Big Island as much as we do with our family and friends. Mahalo!

Perfect family vacation house
We loved our stay here - perfect family vacation stay. We had a couple other families staying in Kamilo and the area has great pool and BBQ facilities, good location and all the amenities you could need. House was aptly stocked with everything you could want!

Great house for a family
Beautifully landscaped. Very clean. Beds and bedding amazing. Large bedrooms and master baths. Great selection of beach toys, chairs and even a wagon to haul chairs and umbrella to the beach.

This house was wonderfully convenient for our family vacation, especially with my mother-in-law who has a walker. Everything was available for our use, from a fully equipped kitchen to beach and pool supplies and bedding/towels. Our family came for a 6 day vacation and the only issue we had was we didn’t book it for longer! If you are looking for a place that makes you feel at home, has easy access to the highway and attractions, is private and secure, and has the comforts of home, this is the place for you.
Our family especially appreciated the private beach club access, which we went several times to the beach to go snorkeling. The reef and many fish were amazing. The pool, fitness center, and other amenities in the housing community were an extra bonus as well. The Shops at Mauna Lani also offered the convenience of grocery shopping, souvenirs, and restaurants. They even had free hula and fire dancing entertainment!

Great family vacation
We have stayed in many rental units in a number of countries over the years but this was by far the nicest and best equipped. Kitchen had everything you needed right down to the smallest detail including an assortment of condiments and even tupperware for leftovers and cloth shopping bags for groceries. Located in a VERY quiet neighborhood close to many beaches, the pool was a 2 minute walk away and was empty every night we were there. The kids had a swim before bed inwhat was essentially their own private pool! There are no street lights so streets and pool area are very dark in the evening but there were flashlights in the drawer. The foodland just down the road is great and prices were quite reasonable despite what others may say. There is also a free hula show in the courtyard adjacent to the store two nights a week which was an unexpected bonus.
Owner of this unit is well organized, very approachable and responds quickly to emails. This rental unit was certainly more costly than others we have rented but you get what you pay for I guess. You certainly would not be disappointed with your stay here. If the opportunity arose we would definitely rent this unit again.
Very comfortable and beautiful home.
This home was perfect for our multi-generational family of 7. Each of the 4 bedrooms opens to a lanai. We made extensive use of the fully equipped kitchen and bar b q. Everything was clearly labeled and there was both an instruction book for appliances and a concierge book with info. about local grocery stores, beaches, hikes, etc. Walking distance to the pool and gym, which my husband used every morning. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, boogie boards and use of a cooler for beach days and day trips. This beautiful home made our trip one to remember!
