Our Hawaiian paradise can be yours when you stay in our beautiful 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2100 square foot Big Island home located in KaMilo, a private gated community surrounded by the Mauna Lani North Golf Course. Entering, you will find an impressive cathedral ceilinged great room with a relaxing entertainment and dining area. Retractable sliding glass doors open to one of the three main floor lanais, allowing the indoor and outdoor spaces to flow together as you enjoy the comfort of the tropically appointed living area.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has Thermadore stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and African mahogany cabinets. If you enjoy outdoor cooking, the lanai is perfectly equipped with a gas BBQ and table with seats for eight.

This home will comfortably accommodate up to 10 and provides anything you may need for your dream vacation. For those concerned with stairs, the home provides easy one-level access to the entire ground floor, which houses three of the four bedrooms, including one master. Both master bedrooms have California king beds, ensuite bathrooms, and walk-in closets. The second floor master provides privacy and a stunning sunrise view over Mauna Kea from the private lanai. A third bedroom has one queen bed while the fourth bedroom has two queen beds (not doubles!). All bedrooms have ceiling fans as well as 32' or larger HDTVs with Blue Ray/DVD players and digital cable. The great room has a 55' 1080p LED HDTV equipped with a Blue Ray/DVD player, HD cable box and surround sound stereo system (5.1 Dolby), sure to entertain the entire family.

One of the best-kept secrets of the Mauna Lani Resort, the KaMilo/Kulalani Recreation Center, is the largest in Mauna Lani and only a short walk from your home. It boasts a lap pool, a free-form resort style pool, a kiddy wading pool, two hot tub spas, a workout room with free-weights and exercise machines, expansive lawns, and a gathering pavilion with a Viking grill and outdoor kitchen for hosting parties or other special events.

For those that live for the beach, the Mauna Lani Owner's Beach Club is only a short drive down the road. While there, you can enjoy all the amenities that the club has to offer, including swimming, snorkeling, stand-up paddling, and much, much more! A full-service restaurant with an outstanding food and tropical beverage menu is located mere steps from the beach.

For golfers, Mauna Lani boasts two championship golf courses among the finest on the island.

The Fairmont Orchid Resort, Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and The Shops at Mauna Lani are located within the resort and only a short walk from KaMilo. About The Owner

We both grew up near the ocean, one in Massachusetts, and the other in California. We have been traveling to Hawaii since before we were married in 1990. The Big Island has drawn us back time after time. We found the slower pace and warmer weather of the Kohala Coast ideal. We enjoy all the outdoor activities - snorkeling, golf, tennis, hiking, fishing and especially whale watching. We hope that you and your family will enjoy and appreciate the Big Island as much as we do with our family and friends. Mahalo!

Beautiful home makes for the perfect island getaway

We have stayed on the Big Island for many years and always look forward to coming back. This was our first time staying in the Mauna Lani Resort area and we were very pleased. The home is walking distance from the Fairmont Orchid with a fantastic beach, and just a short drive to the private beach club. We actually enjoyed the Fairmont beach more than the beach club, although both are great beaches.

The home is incredibly well stocked. They even have a crock pot and rice cooker! And they had birthday candles for my birthday cake. Not something I would ever expect in a rental home but a very nice touch. And there was a beautiful birthday cake waiting for me on my arrival from the owners. Another very nice touch.

The home is beautiful, and in very good condition. The beds are comfortable and the linens and pillows are all very high quality. The lanai is the perfect place to relax and have all of your home cooked meals. It's very private with a nice view.

I look forward to coming back to the island and staying in this home again in the near future. Thank your for making our stay on the island so amazing!

Very Nice!

We were a group of 9 people that stayed at this location. The condo comfortably fit all of us. The location was close to the pool, which was nice. In addition, we could visit many beautiful beaches by a close drive. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Amazing and luxurious

We stayed at the KaMilo and really enjoyed our time. The property was bright and clean. The amenities came super handy and the beach club was great. The beach club overlooks a beach that itself is great for snorkeling since it contains corals. We would absolutely want to stay again if we are to visit Kona once more!

Phenomenal Vacation Home

We just got back from staying at the house for 1 week. This house comes with everything you could possibly want or need (water noodles, boogie boards, snorkel gear, towels, chairs, rafts, bikes, coolers, etc). It is great for kids and is walking distance to two community pools (that look like resort pools), gym, hot tub and great outdoor grilling space. The hidden gem of this place is the key card you get which gains you access to a private beach that is only about a 5 min car ride away and has a restaurant and a white sand beach that is protected by a cove that limits wind and waves (translation: great for floating for hours and/or paddle boarding). The pictures are good but don't do it justice. The rooms are HUGE and everything felt brand new. Can't say enough good things. We will be back!!!

Fully Stocked Island Home

Our family stayed at the house for 4 nights during a trip to the Big Island. We were very pleased to find this home to be in excellent shape and fully stocked with whatever you might need during your Island vacation. The house was clean and everything worked properly. Shhh don't tell, This home is a gem!

This property is amazing! This is a home away from home in a beautiful setting. There isn’t a thing you will need that is not right at your fingertips. Every room is stocked with the appropriate amenities as well as few fun extra items that really make the vacation extra special. I personally find seating to be a challenge in many rentals offer only dining for 4, since this house is set up to accommodate a standard of 6 at dining table & lani dining table we were able to enjoy family meals with no effort of moving furniture. As you enter the home there is a wonderful greeting table, the owners have masterfully put together a book explaining anything you may need to know about the house. This was really helpful, I really suggest taking a few moments to read through when you arrive. The upstairs master suite is perfect to slip away from the rest of the group. The downstairs master offers the same comforts and is accessible for someone who has mobility issues. I really can’t say enough about how well cared for KaMilo 212, every detail is well thought out and it is a quality home to stay in.

It is just 2 minute drive to the grocery store located near the shops & a 15 minute drive to the Queen & King shops. We spent a bundle of time at the Fairmont lagoon where we snorkeled. The cabanas are reasonable and since it is only 2minute drive this was nice when the little ones need a nap or the seniors need a break from the sun. I suggest going for happy hour at the Fairmont & seeing the Gathering of Kings Lau.

We will be back!
