From the moment you walk into this home you will be welcomed with large windows and high ceilings. We love the open feel of the floor plan -- as well as the ability to find your own private corner. The house has wonderful cherry wood cabinets, a large bath and oversized shower in the master bedroom. All bedrooms have a queen size bed. Our community has three pools, a 3 par golf course -- at no charge -- and a city golf course within about a mile that has a fun club house with wonderful reasonably price meals. The club house hosts live music and a great feeling of fun. Take a bike or a walk on the walking/biking paths to the numersous parks with play grounds. This is a family home very close to hiking trips, Scottsdale's great shopping, and many fun festivals! There's always something happening in the Phoenix area. Go to the Olive Mill, Sedona, the numerous outdoor concerts -- country western, rock, opera even. All is here for you to enjoy! Take the kids down to fish, go to the flea market or consignment shops. Start your day on the patio with a cup of coffee and decide what the rest of the day will hold for you. We are still discovering that we barely have touched the surface of what there is to do and enjoy. Our community also has tennis courts and a new FOLF course and hosts events like teen dances and cooking classes. Reconnect with your family and enjoy your FUN TIME IN THE SUN.

We bought this home to retreat from the long, cold winters in Montana. As I am not retired yet, we are unable to get down there as often as we would like. We always run out of time, before we run out of things to do. This is our home -- not just a house and we want you to enjoy it's comfort and fun.
Cindy Eggert purchased this house in 2011
We can fly direct on Allegiant Air -- and might I state at a very reasonable amount. We are 15 miles from the Mesa airport. We like that once we arrive in our community, we do not have to fight the traffic of the inner city of Phoenix -- unless we choose to .
We have seen many very, very affordable concerts at the Ostrich Festival (did you know they race ostriches?). We love the large areas available for large family get togethers and the spaciousness of our home. The farmers market and the flea market are such kicks. They just added the FOLF course and I'm anxious to challenge my children to a game -- next visit!
This home in San Tan Valley was a great spot away from the busy city. The neighborhood was great with lots of amenities for my children and adults. The people we met were friendly. The home was very nice and clean. Had everything we needed for a fun holiday weekend. There was one grocery store very nearby but any other shopping was a drive.
This was a wonderful home for four people visiting/working from different areas of the country. They all commented on how nice everything was inside the home. I would love to rent this again should the opportunity arise. San Tan Valley is a friendly and safe area to visit. You will not be disappointed.
The home is even more lovely than the photos! The property is clean and well maintained. The owners are friendly and great to work with. This is our first VRBO experience and everything went very smoothly. San Tan Valley is a nice residential area with many nearby amenities. We felt safe on our morning runs and on evening walks. A trip to the Apache trail was a short day trip that we really enjoyed. We also enjoyed the botanical garden in Phoenix. The Olive Mill is a treasure. We didn't eat there, but the meals looked delicious and the desserts are fabulous.
Thanks Cindy and Jeff for helping make this a great family vacation!
We had a great time at this beautiful house. It has a great, spacious layout. The kitchen is really a chef's dream, with a nice big island and lots of counter space to work. It was nice to sit around the island and chat with friends, while the kids kicked back watching movies in the living room.
The neighborhood is great and quiet. Lots of people outside, working on their gardens or playing golf. The community pool is heated and has a hot tub! This was a real nice treat! The community is real close to the Fry's supermarket and a Walmart and lots of easy fast places for a quick bite. Definitely go to Queen Creek Olive Mill (10min away), it's a gem in the desert. They grow and press their own olives and they have a yummy cafe. Also check out The Pork Chop for some excellent pepper crusted bacon. Schnepf Farms is great for kids and adults.
Everyone had a great time, thank you to Cindy for such a lovely place to share.
We rented this home for 2 1/2 months at the end of 2013. It is in a nice, quiet area of Johnson Ranch and close to one of their pools. We walked there often. The house was very comfortable, with large bedrooms and a good layout. The beds were all comfortable. We appreciated the WiFi service and the large BBQ. The kitchen was well equipped. There were spices, sugar, coffee, etc. to get us started and as we depleted something, we refilled it for the next guests. It was a great system. The laundry and cleaning products were there for us also. We had our children and their families come and stay for a week and there was plenty of room for all (8 of us). When we had questions, problems, etc. the owners were very prompt at rectifying or solving any issues. And a big plus - they were a very honest and friendly couple and a pleasure to deal with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others.
We felt the photos and listing accurately reflected this house. It is very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and was well equiped. A nice large grill under a covered patio was available for those that want to cook out doors. We used it almost every day! The bedrooms are a nice size with comfortable beds and ample closet space.
The Terace at the Johnson Ranch Golf Club has many food specials and and nice Happy Hour. We enjoyed afternoons at the pool where we met many fun people.
Jeff and Cindy were very friendly and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. They were easy to contact to answer any of our questions.
We enjoyed out time here and would recommend it to anyone. We hope to stay here again!
Oh, by the way, the Celtic music in the CD player was also a hit with us!
'FOLF' course - frisbee gof course. Since we have only been to the home three times for short visits since we purchased, we are still finding all the exciting things to do!
