Vacay Nola Team purchased this condo in 2011
It's a great location and within walking distance to everything. So close to the Jackson (JAX) Brewery, The House of blues, Bourbon Street and the River. You can enjoy tours on the Ferry or River boats, also shopping at the Canal Place Mall or Antique shops on Royal street. Feeling in the mood to be a bit more laid back, take the streetcar to the garden District to enjoy a different view.
There is always something going on and you are close to get to it all by foot, or you can conveniently get a Taxi by just going outside to the curb.
The building is located on a street where you have the ability to do some wonderful people watching or can walk to well known establishments.
There's fantastic bookstores and gift shops close by to pick up something to remember your experience there.
The property is very nice over all. Well maintained and generally quiet. Construction in the ally was a little noisy as to be expected. Would highly recommend and stay here again!
The management team was detailed from beginning to end. The water, Gatorade and extra's provided in the refrigerator was a nice touch. The condo was clean. The location was perfect and accommodated our hopes in walking to all the sites we planned on visiting. Although we had read that the area outside the condo was noisy we were in no way prepared for the constant disruption all through the evening and early morning hours. The music was not the problem, it was the workers in the alley that backed into our bedroom and the waste service that came at 4:30 every morning and the construction that started like clockwork every morning between 6-6:30am. We would also suggest new bedding as the fitted sheet did not stay on the bed.
The condo was beautiful. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for our trip. Upon arrival we found that somebody has vomited on the couch and flipped the cushion over. Someone was sent over to clean immediately. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere all weekend. The management is great with communication and they were very helpful with the entire process. We will definitely be returning for our next stay in NOLA.
Very nice building with lots of extras. The unit was well decorated, clean and the furnishings excellent. The location was great - easy to walk anywhere and across from many cool places, etc. Only complaint was the construction next door that started around 7am (kitchen and 2nd bedroom were noisy). Not exactly what you want after a night out in New Orleans. The evenings, once the construction had stopped made it nice to relax in. Would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for the early morning noise.
This rental was perfect for our needs. First off, Kelli was great at welcoming us to the rental and answering our questions (we didn't have many, since she covered a lot of things)! We were in town for a wedding and staying with three other friends. The rental was perfectly clean with everything we would need. The Gatorade in the fridge was a nice (and VERY welcome) touch! The beds were super comfy. The only downside is the noise in the morning, as the windows must be pretty thin and not very sound proof at all. That said, it helped to get us moving earlier so we wouldn't miss too much of the city by sleeping in! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to New Orleans!
Had a wonderful 4 night stay with 4 adults and 2 small children. Loved being in the heart of it all (near aquarium, insectarium, streetcar, and plenty of food and nightlife) and having a clean, comfortable place to rest. Laundry, full kitchen, and bathtub were a must and made our stay so much smoother. The larger bedroom easily fit our pack n play and toddler size air mattress while still having plenty of room to move around. Closets and laundry room were also spacious, easily storing all of our luggage, carseats and stroller. The back alley made for interesting people watching during the day. At night, there was some trash and recycling noise, but we came prepared with a white noise machine and overall were not disturbed. Room darkening curtains were a wonderful surprise! We did not experience any problems during our stay and found the owners very accommodating as they allowed us to keep our luggage inside the unit for 2 hours after checkout. Would highly recommend to others!
The property is conveniently close to attractions such as the House of Blues and Jackson Square. It is about a block from Canal Street and 2 blocks from Bourbon. It's in the heart of the highlights in the Historic French Quarter, and it is luxuriously designed and furnished to take you away from it all.
