Chalet

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at the Chalet in Tahoe City. The location is convenient, and the house is very comfortable. The host was responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect stay for my girls and I

  • 5 of 5

My two girls and I stayed in the Chalet both during the summer and in the winter. In the summer we had an absolute blast. The house is centrally located close to town, easy to get to the grocery store, an awesome coffee shop down the street as well as simple access to a bike/running path. As an endurance athlete, I was able to do long runs and rides around the lake right from the house, as well as ride bikes with the kids to and from breakfast, town, beach and Squaw! In addition, we were able to take the dog to the river every morning and evening for some activity which made for a happy dog! The accommodations are comfortable and the house is stocked with whatever you may need to cook or bake. In the winter, it was an easy drive to Alpine or Squaw and a cozy place to come back to at the end of the day! Kids were able to play in the snow in the yard and come in for hot cocoa. The owners are very responsible and responsive, I would go back again and again!

Perfect home on the North Shore

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at the chalet this fall and winter and it is the perfect home for a vacation in Tahoe. The kitchen is stocked with utensils & essentials, with a nice large dining area. The furnishings are comfortable. The heated floors in the downstairs bath, along with the excellent water pressure make for an awesome shower. The chalet is located within walking distance to Tahoe City and the lakeshore. Perfect for two families. Overall, it's a wonderful place to hang your hat in Tahoe.

Cozy house with great location

  • 4 of 5

Aframe house was funky with interesting layout. Never stayed in one but is was fun to stay in this one. Smaller than what we typically stay in for our 4 adult and 4 kid group but it had all we needed. Good kitchen with nice pots/pans/silverware to use and nice large table that fit is all. Great location as it was a 2 minute drive to sledding at Grandlibakken and quick trip to the store for food/supplies. Nice area around the house for the kids to play in the snow and used the Xbox for indoor play. Heater kept us nice and warm in ~20 degree weather. Boot heater by door was a plus as it helped dry and warm boots for the next play session. We were lucky to find this little house for our New Years trip a few weeks earlier so we felt fortunate to experience it. We did not being our pets but it is pet friendly while it had no odor of pets which was amazing. Downstairs shower was nice with two large rain sprays with quick warm water.

Aweseome getaway in the fall

  • 5 of 5

My wife and stayed at the Chalet this Fall for a long weekend getaway. The house is very clean, welcoming, and stocked with the essentials. The view from the balcony is great. However, the best part is it's location to Tahoe city, the New Moon market, and the Truckee rim trail. The Dam cafe, River Grill, are all within walking distance. We even hiked to Page Meadows from house for a solid ~10 mile hike. I'm looking forward to staying at their home this summer.

great for families

  • 4 of 5

This house is perfect for families. The kids loved the bunk room with the new books and costumes and the adults enjoyed the open living room and deck for relaxing and eating. The location was great since we could walk to the beach, restaurants, and access the bike path without getting in the car.
