2300 square foot cedar cabin. Centrally located to access Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or the Townsend/Cades Cove areas.
My favorite part of our location is that we are close to anything in the area, almost centrally located. But once you leave Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg to head to the cabin, the heavy traffic ceases and you leave that behind for the peace and beauty of the mountains, all in the matter of just 10 minutes. You get the best of both worlds.
We have tried to make this cabin enjoyable for all ages. Kids can play in the game room and the adults enjoy conversation, games, or TV in the den above. Swing, rock, or eat outside on one of the four decks. Read a book on the main deck while swinging or just relaxing and enjoy the quiet of the outdoors.
Cabin has 3 levels, one bedroom/bath each level.
Kitchen/den/dining on main level with master bedroom. Master bedroom has kingsize bed and its own bath, along with a separate Jacuzzi tub.
The lower level has a large Game room with pool table, air hockey, 42 inch TV, video arcade game and darts, with separate bedroom/bath with 2 queen beds. The couch in game room is a sofa sleeper. Off the game room is a private deck and hot tub.
The upper level has a bedroom with queen bed, bath, deck, and extra room with TV and sofa sleeper. We enjoy sitting on the front decks and viewing the other cabins and the lights at night, or sitting on the back decks (or in hottub) and being at peace with nature.
Each level has a deck with the main level having a deck which wraps around two sides and a separate deck off the master bedroom in front. There is also a Jacuzzi in the master bedroom.
The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could want, glass top range with oven timer if you want to cook while enjoying the area.
At times our children and guests are content to just enjoy the cabin and never do the tourist stuff, and at times they spend all day in nature, shopping, or enjoying Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.

I am a Mental Health Counselor and my wife is in accounting. We live in Mississippi but both parents live in Tennessee, just on opposite ends of the state. We have three children, two married and on their own, and one just starting college. Our youngest son has 'grown up' with the cabin, while our other two were already finishing high school or in college, so they are just now beginning to experience the cabin with their families.
Brian Galloway purchased this cabin in 2005
One of our parents live in East Tennessee, so we began visiting the Gatlinburg area when we came to see them and fell in love with the area. I especially like Wears Valley because it is close to the bustle of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg but has the tranquility of the mountains. There seems to be endless diversity to what you can do there. We bought the cabin so we could have a place to come and relax when we wanted to get away for a few days.
The cabin is peaceful and relaxing to me. I have all the luxuries of home (and a few more). Can watch TV, surf the internet, quietly read, or play games. One of the high lights of our year is going to the cabin in late October, early November with two couples who are retired and dear friends of ours. We play cards, decorate for Christmas, and are able to get away from our normal lives.
The cabin is large enough to invite others to come with us, but small enough for just the two of us, if that's what we want.
We started out with 8 going to the mountains and ended up with 12. The cabin slept 12 so we said, OK. Granted, 12 is capacity, but it worked much better than we expected. All the adults had private rooms to sleep in. We shared the three bathrooms, but that was ok. The cabin was clean and it was raining but it was dry and cozy inside. We had plenty of room to work puzzles, play games, eat and work together without bumping into each other. Loved the Cabin and we will return. Five stars!!
VERY, VERY NICE.
We had a very nice weekend. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The cabin sits beautifully on the mountain, great views. Love the cabin. This cabin was great for our gathering of 10 and the two dogs, Everyone had plenty of room. Everyone had their own bedroom, very comfy.
Our expectations of this cabin is ....that it be clean and that all that is in the description be in working order. When we were looking for the toys that went under furniture, we moved furniture to find dried food, a used water bottle and lots of dust bunnies. We had two babies crawling on the floors. This tells me that housekeeping is not doing a thorough job. We are being charged for the cleanings. One bathroom didn't have towels in it.
The game room needs some major attention. The ONLY working game was the air hockey table. The pool table is broken and the pool cues did not have tips on them. The dart board didn't work. The multi game video game machine didn't work. The cabin doesn't have much of a yard to run around, you are on a mountain, We were looking forward to playing a game of pool. The kids should have been able to enjoy the game room. The game room was a disappointment.
This cabin needs some attention.
Thanks for having us.
We were very pleased with this cabin! There was plenty of room for the 7 of us and the dogs. This cabin could easily sleep 11 people. There was so much entertainment for the children that we barely heard anything out of them. Brian, the owner, was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back to stay at this cabin!
We have stayed in multiple cabins and I can honestly say that this is the best. Clean, well decorated, great views and centrally located. Brian the owner is great to work with and very attentive to renters. Quick to answer questions arise. If you are looking for a 3 bedroom. Family/kid friendly cabin. This ones for you
This cabin is great for a family even if ours kids are grown. Nice game room and the kit/lr was great for our family. The owner is very organized as they made renting very easy. They have thought of everything in there contact info. Cabin is well maintained. Getting to the cabin is curvy and a steep hill but close to town. Bella the beagle dog will greet you but read the collar (don't feed her or she will need Jenng Craig). Good value for the family with divided areas and plenty of beds. View is wooded but quiet.
This cabin is very comfortable. It was much more spacious than we had anticipated (which is never a bad thing with our crew). Its also in a perfect location for those visiting both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, nestled right between the two. It is worth revisiting.
The cabin was not what we expected. The entire cabin and its contents really needed a deep thorough cleaning(with the exception of the kitchen which appeared to be clean). The downstairs shower was very very small. The pool table just had a very unclean appearance and none of the other games worked correctly. The front windows were full of cobwebs as well as the corners. The master bathroom rugs were very dirty in appearance and needed replaced or at least a good cleaning. The basement stairs were also very dirty. They didn't appear to have been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time. The cabin was much further from Pigeon Forge than we anticipated or maybe it was the last part of the very steep and winding drive that made it feel that way.
With a good cleaning it would be great for those who want to get away from it all it just wasn't for us.
