You will be right at the beach, there is super boogie boarding, great sunsets, & lots of beach walking! Hale Kamaole is a beautifully landscaped, low density property consisting of spacious one and two bedroom condominiums, it is rated 'Solid Gold' by Maui Revealed. Our condo can sleep up to 4, it has a very comfy Eastern King bed in the bedroom (which includes a small flat screen TV) and a pull out queen sofa bed in the living room with a 37' flat screen tv. Free WIFI With High Speed Roadrunner internet. Our one bedroom unit can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. Our two bedroom/2 bath Hale Kamaole #250 unit (vrbo #290958) has a beautiful ocean view and also has a loft area, which adds additional living and sleeping space (up to 8). We also own HK #162 (vrbo # 450779), ground floor walk out in the lower pool area, one bedroom/one bath.

The complex is located directly across from Kama'ole III State Beach Park, which is known as one of the most beautiful and safest beaches in the Islands, it even has its own Lifeguard station! It is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, sunning, jogging, picnicking, kite flying, and especially enjoying amazing sunsets and whale watching.

Each unit has a private lanai that faces the interior of the complex, our unit # 239 offers beautiful views of the expansive lawns, the upper pool, and lush tropical landscape of palm trees, bouganvilla, hibiscus, birds of paradise and plumeria trees.

There are two pools, a covered pavilion, and a full size tennis court on the property. Every evening the outdoor barbecue area is a popular spot to socialize with others while grilling the perfect dinner and watching as the Hale Kamaole conch shell band performs their nightly sunset ritual (all are invited to join).

You will find world class golf courses, fantastic snorkeling and diving, many Maui activities, abundant shopping and delicious fine and family dining all within minutes of Hale Kamaole.

We choose Hale Kamaole because of it's great location (right at the Kama'ole III Beach Park) Sunny Kihei, large units (778 Sq. Feet), large beautiful grounds and the fact it is part of the USA. Our daughter was very young when we first traveled to Hawaii, no Mexico for us with a baby! We have been coming back for over 25 years, Maui truly is the best!!!

Easy, comfortable and well stocked!

This condo had everything we needed. I particularly enjoy some of the condiments and spices b omg left by previous tenants. The unit was clean and the kids enjoyed the well stocked beach gear. I would come back!

Great Customer Service

Close to everything

Unit was very clean and had just enough extras we didn't need to buy much but a few groceries. Super quiet unit and w/d for caughting up on wet clothes. We felt a good value and walking easy to beach and dinner out.

good, spacious condo

The unit has a well-equipped kitchen. We liked the big tiles on the floor in the living and dining areas and lots of cleaning detergent. The location was excellent - right across from the beach. The complex itself is older but well maintained. We didn't make use of the pool as it was smallish but used the tennis court often. Overall, we would recommend this unit in this complex to friends and family.

Tardy review for a wonderful property

I've been meaning to write this review since I left Maui in April. I was so very sad to leave not only Maui but the condo, as well.

I really loved the condo. First of all, the location is fabulous. It's across the street from Kamaole Beach III which has a nice picnic area and playground in addition to a gorgeous beach. I'd caution renters with young children, though: the waves here can be dangerous. I know! I got a spanking! The condo complex has ample (free) parking as well as two beautiful pools, a barbecue area (very popular), and beautiful grounds.

The condo itself is wonderful. The kitchen is stocked with very nice appliances, big and small, as well as ample dishes, flatware and cookware. There was a nice supply of basic spices (which we added to...we weren't hauling them home). The living room was comfortably furnished. We never turned on the TV so can't comment on that. The bedroom was at the front of the condo but I never heard anyone coming or going. The bed was comfortable and there was a good amount of space to store clothing. My favorite part of the condo was the lanai. We spent every morning there, drinking coffee and enjoying the gardens. I also loved the cross-ventilation from the lanai to the bedroom. We used the air conditioner very briefly only once while we were there. The bathroom is generously stocked with towels as well as body wash, shampoo, etc. We were very happy to have use of the beach chairs and umbrella!

The owner, Karen, was wonderful to deal with. Very fast responses to any questions and the reservation request. I would definitely choose this condo to stay in again. Loved it!
