Great house for a family vacation. Really enjoyed the pool and the backyard.
Thank you for your kind review and for choosing to stay with us.
This property worked reasonably well for a July family gathering of 9 adults and 6 kids between 2 and 7 years of age.
A few items that would have been helpful are removing from the pool storage box all the broken “toys” so that finding what are the play options for young children is easier
Purging the refrigerator of some of the large number of condiments. Nice to have a supply stock but they took up a lot of space and made a mid size fridge even smaller
The abundance of personal artifacts around the house and stored in closets and hanging on walls was a little disconcerting but not a big negative...just surprising
The house is definitely a party house for large groups. Some of the amenities were less useful if most of the social activities involve young children and safety and property damage needs close monitoring
It would be useful to have some printed material available on how appliances work. We couldn’t figure out the cook top but the owner who is in the neighborhood was quick to respond to our question and came over. Most other stuff we managed to figure out or used without problems based on a verbal I service at check in.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review and I am sorry we did not meet your expectations. I always have myself or a member of my team personally meet and greet all guest upon arrival to the property to answer any all questions and to give a complete tour of the facility. I would have been available to address any other issues if you had brought them to our attention during your stay as you did with the stovetop controls. The stovetop is brand new and I wasn’t aware that it need instructions on how to use it. We will in the future instruct our guest how to use the stovetop. Furthermore, the refrigerator is a normal size and is not small. I am glad you and your group enjoyed the view from our home and thanks to your feedback we will make efforts to improve our properties.
A great getaway
The house is very clean and has plenty of room. The outside is very peaceful and the weather is gorgeous this time of year. I would absolutely come back again. And the owner. David, was great and very accommodating.
You were a great guest! You were very polite, and we would recommend you and would love to have you back again.
Amazing view with plenty of room
We traveled from Maine to compete in the National Senior Games, women's basketball. David was an exceptional host. He was very attentive and quick to reply to my text messages about checking in and checking out. The house is large and comfy and the outdoor pool area/entertaining area with the fire pit was just what we needed after a long day of playing in the games. We opted to cook at the house and the kitchen was completely outfitted with whatever we needed, including condiments for our burgers and dogs. We would highly recommend this property, especially for a large group.
Thank you, David!!!!!!
Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our house! We hope you enjoyed our beautiful space. We can’t wait to have you stay with us again!
Good/Not so good:
The back/pool area was a hit with our family. Surprisingly, we also enjoyed the pool table. The inside of the house and its furnishings and linens left much to be desired. Other than the dining tables and dining chairs (both inside and outside), the remaining inside furniture was extremely disappointing. Moreover, the TV setup was difficult to navigate although the owner came by twice to improve the situation which proved troublesome to him as well. The so-called "fifth bedroom" is marginal at best but a teenager seemed to be OK with it; it is not safe for anyone younger than a teen as it opens onto the pool area and I do not believe there is a lock on the door. We did leave a list of comments for the owner as to specific items that could be done to improve the safety and condition if this property. This property seems more suited for a party house for twenty plus year-olds. Nonetheless, our family enjoyed being together here.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review and the 5 Stars. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations. I always have myself or a member of my team personally meet and greet all guest upon arrival to the property to answer any all questions and to give a complete tour of the facility. I would have been available to address any other issues if you had brought them to our attention during your stay as you did with the TV. To note the Streaming media player was unplugged by the previous guest causing the issue with the TV. I am glad you and your group enjoyed the back/pool area and thanks to your feedback we will make efforts to improve our properties.
Fun time vin Albuquerque!
Three of the beds were great but rest needed upgrade. I think it should have a door on bathroom upstairs and put two queen beds upstairs. Lots of room in house and outside was great. Lots of good bathrooms. All in all it was a good experience.
