A spacious, modern self-catering top floor apartment (in a block of 4 apartments) with air conditioning/heating, in the harbour town of Kas, ten minutes walk from sea, amphitheatre, shops, restaurants, cafes. The living room has stunning panoramic views over two bays. French windows open to a south-facing balcony overlooking the town, sea, mountains and, in the distance, the Greek island of Meis. The beautiful fitted kitchen has marble worktops, cooking hob, microwave oven, fridge with freezer, and washing machine. There are twin beds in the bedroom, plus two single beds in the living room/sleeping area (ideal for children) that can be curtained for privacy. The spacious marble bathroom has a shower cubicle.
TV and DVD players are found in the lounge.
The apartment overlooks Likya Park and is next door to the Aysima boutique hotel.
We can arrange TRANSFERS from Dalaman or Antalya airports
The apartment was purchased newly built by Ann Key who lived in Newcastle and is now owned by her sister, Susan, who has been coming to Kas for many years. She lives on the Somerset/Wiltshire border. Her husband runs the website for her.
Michael Stillwell purchased this apartment in 2000
The family love walking (they have covered large sections of the Lycian Way), reading and swimming in the sea. Kas provides for all of these. The apartment is close to the busy town centre but away from the hubbub.
I stayed two weeks with two other friends in this beautiful appartment and could not get away from the balcony. The apartment is central, easy to walk to the centre of the village, very well equiped, great kitchen, comfortable beds in the bedroom and in the living room as well. I can recommend without any hesitation this great place, clean, airy, modern, super for four persons. Lots of books, TV and cd available (no tv stations available), no wi-fi but a fantastic little internet cafe very close by, Kuyto Cafe, or from outside the council building. The apartment is exactly like the photos are showing: a view on the sea and the village. We saw great sunsets to photograph, bought nice red wine to sip while watching the landscape, breakfast each morning on the balcony, nice neighbors and chickens in the back to throw our leftovers. Bref, un magnifique séjour.
We had a great time And the appartment whas more than complete.
We stayed nine nights in this great apartment. The photos cannot capture the warmth of this home away from home. All the facilities are very good, but it is the “feel” of the place that makes it special. The warm colours found throughout the apartment combine beautifully with the Lycean light coming in the windows and the view over the town and sea. Town amenities such as grocery stores, the bus station, and cafes can be reached easily on foot.
Lovely apartment, wonderfully appointed, featuring great views over the beautiful town of Kas. My husband and I stayed here in late October after touring around Aegean Turkey. The apartment was a welcome break from hotels and what not. It is within walking distance of everything one could wish for: beaches, restaurants, interesting ruins, groceries and the bus station. Great customer service provided by owner Michael.
My husband and I stayed together with our friends in the lovely Apartment for two weeks in September. The great Balcony view over the ocean and harbour was exactly like pictured and the pleasant city center ist just minutes away (downhill). The apartment ist clean and airy and the kitchen well equiped. Our landlord Michael was very friendly and the Agency managing the appartement is very helpful and results any problem quickly and with a smile.
Kas is a lively little town full of restaurants, shops, colours and scents where it is so awesome to stroll threw.
We would recommend this appartement and we hope to return someday!
We had an amazing time in Istanbul and it wouldn't have been the same without this apartment with stunning views. It was more than what we have asked for. We would certainly stay here again.
1) Very clean!
2) Balcony view is awesome (exactly as pictured)
3) Walking distance to city center if you do no suffer from any disabilities (5 min downhill, 10 min uphill)
4) Very helpful landlord, fast e-mail response times
5) Well equipped kitchen (although you don't need to cook yourself in Kas, food is relatively cheap, especially if you go to the no so touristic Turkish restaurants. Only beer is quite expensive everywhere).
6) Agency managing the apparent on-site is also very friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this apartment!

The apartment is opposite Likya Park five minutes' walk from the town centre, ten minutes from the harbour and nearest beach.
15 minutes by boat takes you to the beach at Limonazi or get a dolmus (minibus service) to local beaches on the isthmus to the Peninsular or to the 12 km sandy beach at Patara, complete with amphitheatre and ancient ruins. Day boat trips are available to visit the sunken city of Kekova (see photos), a great day out.
The pointer on the google map is correct but the street name at this point on the map is incorrect - it says it's Koza Sk but it is still Likya Caddessi. There are no houses visible behind our apartment, only hills.
Other Activities: there are many archaeological sites to explore (a car is useful and can be hired locally) and many of our guests walk sections of the Likyan Way which passes by the apartment. The owner has walked large sections of this internationally recognised route and can provide information. Hang gliding takes place from the mountain behind the apartment and some guests go off on one of the many diving boats to explore the deep. Sea canoeing and mountain biking can be arranged at one of the sports centres in the town. A popular day out is to take the ferry to the Greek Island of Meis (in Turkish), a sea crossing of about 30 minutes.
