Located just north of Fenelon Falls, a waterfront lot with calm waters on the canal, about 200 feet from Cameron Lake. This 3 bedroom cedar cottage has a turret upstairs with 2 beds and an amazing view of the lake, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, 2 family rooms for reading on those rainy days or watching TV on a 42 inch flat screen with satellite access to HBO and more. The cottage has very few steps for those who have any difficulty getting up and down stairs. The turret has steps, but the rest of the cottage is on one level, with only a few granny steps. This cottage is not just a standard house on the water – it is an octagonal shaped cedar cottage with character. All who have stayed have left either a letter of appreciation, or a knick knack of some sort, or both. We are pet friendly, please stoop and scoop.

Enjoy the fresh air and peace of nature as you fish, hike or cycle. Kawartha Lakes are well-known for world class fishing, whether it is walleye, trout, bass, pan fish or one of the many other species. The locks at the Trent Severn Waterway (6 min) are made up of 386km (210 miles) of interconnected lakes and rivers stretching through central Ontario. You can launch your boat or try paddling your way through one of the extensive canoe and kayak routes.
Kawartha Lakes is rich in culture and heritage. Take a step back in time at one of the many museums. The artistic community is thriving here.
The town of Fenelon Falls has many restaurants, including the infamous Cow and Sow where you can try the Behind The Barn wings, or the Falls View Restaurant that has the best Greek pizza we have personally tasted. There is also a local restaurant just a 10 min walk from the cottage.
Just down the road is a Mennonite community where you can find baked goods and crafts available either at one of their many farms or in town at the farmers market. You will see their horse drawn wagons going down the road or parked at Bert’s Appliances, where they have a hitching post. Coboconk is just north of us. Both Fenelon Falls and Coboconk are riddled with antiques and knick knack stores.
