The perfect location for a romantic relaxation OR excellent base for many activities, including cycling, walking, swimming, sailing, horse riding, fishing and golf.
As well as a variety of local pubs and eateries, Shorefield Country Park boasts its own carvery and bistro.
The heated swimming pools are an ideal place to relax after a workout in the gym. Alternatively, be pampered by professionals at the spa.
This is the second time that I have stayed here with my husband and toddler. The lodge is exceptionally well (and thoughtfully) equipped and there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. The lodge on arrival was immaculately clean and really offers a lovely haven. The customer service of John and Sue is fabulous - from the prompt responses and the whole process from start to finish. We encountered an issue with the dvd player. We certainly didn't expect the phenomenally quick response and issue sorted which we were very grateful for as a week with potentially rainy days and a toddler could have been tricky!
Shorefield itself has great facilities - indoor swimming pool and spa, gym, shop, bar. The park is tranquil and there is so much to do in the area. If I could give 6 stars to the lodge, John and Sue's service and Shorefield I would. But we want to book for next year and don't want it to get too booked up :)

The location of the lodge is in a beautiful, quiet and relaxing part of Shorefield and even with a toddler we were able to relax. There is plenty of space around the outside of the lodge - green space as well as a fab decking area which can be a great sun trap!
We were very impressed with the level of customer service right from the start. John and Sue are very prompt in responding and clearly care very much for the enjoyment of their guests.
We discovered the DVD player wasn't working (and with a toddler and potentially bad weather on the cards!) we reported this straight away. I certainly didn't expect the swift response and how quickly John and Sue sorted out this issue - a testament to them that the quality of your experience is important to them.
Shorefield Park itself has fabulous facilities (such a clean pool and spa, gym, shops). This holiday in many ways beats an abroad holiday. If I could give 6 stars for the lodge, the park and the owners I would. But I don't want to encourage too many people to book it all up as we want to go back next year!
When we arrived we were disappointed as when we booked we were under the impression that the lodge had a hot tub, despite sending a text to owner, we never got a reply.
However, the lodge is lovely, it is very well equipped, the site is great, and we would certainly consider going again - this time to the one with a hot tub!
A very enjoyable stay. The cabin is comfortable, clean, functional and very well located.
I had trouble getting WiFi access and parts of the cabin were a bit 'tired' but on the whole, good value for money.
The lodge is very well equipped and in a good condition. It was also clean. We enjoyed the holiday there very much. We made some excursions and therefore we did'nt use the amenities of the Country Park. In New Milton we found a great Tesco Store to get our stuff. The Pubs and the Indian restaurant in Milford on sea serve good meals.
Lovely lodge in the new forest - we have a 15 month old and it was ideal for her! Quiet location and all the neighbours own their lodges so very well maintained. John was extremely helpful and contactable. Really enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely stay again!
A fabulous five star holiday park set in 100 acres of landscaped parkland. The perfect scenic location to relax in or explore the quiet rural surroundings.
