Lovely holiday. Great house, great location, great weather and superb service from Marios. Big thanks to him and his family.
The villa was perfect, in a lovely quiet village. A short walk to the local tavern, though a steep walk. The villagers were very friendly. Marios couldn’t of been more helpful, having the loan of his car was a bonus, and the pick up and drop off at the airport made life easier for us, we would never of found the villa on our own, thank you Marios. Our 13 year old son absolutely loved the pool it was a good size and very clean. Would definitely recommend staying in this villa. Very peaceful and relaxing holiday just what we needed.
Peaceful and spotlessly clean
The communication with the website, and subsequently, the owner, was simple.
The villa was at the top of a narrow roadway, so very quiet with very few vehicles. Our first impression of the property was that it was spacious and well laid out. Honestly, couldnt have asked for any more.
The pool area/garden was clean and tidy with room for our family of four to enjoy the space.
The village is traditionally quiet, but special praise for the Letymbou Tavern. We ate there on four occasions, and were made to feel welcome and special each time. Great food and service at amazing prices.
Loved our holiday.
Cyprus Village in the hills
We had a lovely holiday at Villa Olivia; set in a charming cyprus village in the hills above Pafos, it really is a break away from it all, but only a short drive to everything, made easier with the car provided with the villa.
It was a real pleasure to meet Marios; the villa has everything you need and the welcome pack really sets you up at the start of the holiday. Airport pick-up is a real bonus and was much appreciated.
It was our first visit to Cyprus but certainly won't be the
Perfect private getaway
I booked a week away at very short notice - in fact, the day before we flew! Despite this, Marios was very accommodating and did everything he could to make the break work. He collected us from the airport and drove us the thirty minutes to Villa Olivia in the car that he provides along with the villa. He showed us round - the villa had everything we needed.
The neighbourhood is very quiet, a perfect little cypriot village. If you are looking for the bright lights of Paphos then this is not the place for you, however if you want peace and quiet with access to a couple of tavernas in the village then you will love it. We didn't try the 'English'taverna - but we did eat three times at the Letymbou Taverna which we highly recommend.
The villa had all the amenities we needed - fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, international TV (not that we used this!) And a good size pool. Everything was of much higher quality than other villas we have stayed in and the villa was spotlessly clean.
I feel we have found a perfect little getaway, close enough to Paphos to be convenient, but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing.
Villa Olivia is built in a quiet spot of Letymou village 15 kilometers from Paphos. The area is mainly agricultural and famous for growing grapes. There are several wine factories which produce both red and white wine from grapes grown locally. Within 5 minutes drive is Tsada Golf Club, an 18 hole course, popular with both residents and tourists. Paphos forest is only 20 minutes away and from there you can drive through the cedar valley and reach the Kykko monastery at Troodos mountains. For those who like the sea can choose between the beaches of either Paphos 20 minutes away, or Polis -the aphrodite's baths 30 minutes. In Paphos town you can visit the Castle at the harbour, the mosaics, the tombs of the Kings, the ancient odeon and many more ancient ruins of the Paphos Kingdom.
