Unbelieveable Space in the Best Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed the last weekend in September and had an amazing time in Colorado Springs. The Upper Level of this bungalow was just as the pictures described. Everything was comfortable and cozy, and we loved the room to spread out after a long day of sight seeing and fun. The beds are very comfortable, the two bathrooms were great for getting ready fast, the kitchen was well stocked for our morning breakfasts, and the house was located in the lovely Old North End part of town. This location is very close to downtown, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. We enjoyed eating at the Summit at the Broadmoor Hotel and enjoying it's ambiance, horseback riding, taking the Cog Train up to Pike's Peak, seeing Garden of the Gods, hiking and Red Rock Canyon and Helen Hunt Falls, fly fishing and just taking a long drive into the Rockies. It was only the two of us, and we didn't use the loft area, but this would be great for two families with kids or a family get away with grandparents. The owners were always available and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

THUMBS-UP!!

  • 5 of 5

We (one couple, one single) stayed here for two nights while we explored Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. This upper level bungalow feels like your own house, warm and homey and beautifully decorated. The property is as advertised, plus more: comfy, clean, roomy, well-appointed, fully-stocked. Everything was well thought out. I can't think of a thing that was not provided. Nancy also included very clear instructions for check-in, and stayed in touch via text during our stay. We loved this bungalow, and would definitely stay here again.

Great Place, Great Location

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 stayed here for a full week. When I booked the house, I was most concerned about location. Not this house, but all the ones I looked at since I had never been to COS before. After spending a week here, the house is in a great location. You are just a few blocks north of Uintah Street which bends around and intersects about anywhere you want to go. Great food and drinks in downtown COS as well. Took advantage of Phantom Canyon Brewing Co several nights. It is possible to walk to and from the downtown area but wouldn't recommend it with small children. As far as the actual house goes, it's set up great. You could easily fit 4 adults and 4 kids in here no problem. We never used the kitchen area but it was set up nice and all the appliances were newer. Washer and Dryer was a huge plus especially if you are like us and spent your whole trip hiking and rafting! The little porch is a great place to have a cup of coffee or a bottle of wine. There are two other properties to rent - a converted garage and the downstairs of the house. We never heard anyone else ever. The A/C is completely supplied by window units and individual standing A/C units. This was not a problem, it never got hot in the house and this was late July. However, it can be a little noisy. Wasn't an issue for us though. The owners were very helpful throughout our stay and stayed in contact to make sure all was well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
