Great location, just as advertised

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect location and set-up for a weekend trip to visit Colorado College with my daughter. We had more than enough space, and I would stay here again with our whole family. Owners were very communicative, and accommodating. Note that it is an upstairs unit in an older building, and signage requests the guests to be mindful of their after-hours noise -- this is not the place to stay with a loud or late night crew.

Practically Perfect in Every Way!

  • 5 of 5

Like Mary Poppins this property was charming, lovely, and what you needed when you needed it. Everything was thought of by the owners, and you could tell that it was their priority to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The home was well-decorated and comfortable. Everything was marked so there was no searching to find what you might need. They provided coffee, tea, sweetener, oil, spices, basics like flour and sugar, and even a little pancake mix and syrup for the morning. The directions were clear and precise. The location was close to the downtown area, a grocery store, and coffee! I stayed in this property overnight with 6 other women, and it did not feel overcrowded. The space was not large, but it was all used very efficiently. It had a nice outdoor space that would have been fun to use if the weather was warmer. If you stayed there a long time with that many people I think it would have been tight, but a for few days, or if you stayed with children, or less people, it would be perfect. I can't think of anything I did not like or that would need improvement.

Loved IT!!

  • 5 of 5

This wonderful place was just as pictured and described!! It was very cozy and comfortable, we enjoyed returning after long days of sight seeing to curl up in the living room and watch a movie. Nancy checked in periodically to make sure we were having a good time and doing okay - which we were, there we absolutely no issues to mention. Would definitely stay here again!

Very cute, well decorated

  • 4 of 5

The cottage looks just like the pictures. It was very cute. The kids (ages 10-1) enjoyed the playroom. I would recommend the cottage to others. Although, to be honest, it was a little small for our family of 8.

Unbelieveable Space in the Best Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed the last weekend in September and had an amazing time in Colorado Springs. The Upper Level of this bungalow was just as the pictures described. Everything was comfortable and cozy, and we loved the room to spread out after a long day of sight seeing and fun. The beds are very comfortable, the two bathrooms were great for getting ready fast, the kitchen was well stocked for our morning breakfasts, and the house was located in the lovely Old North End part of town. This location is very close to downtown, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. We enjoyed eating at the Summit at the Broadmoor Hotel and enjoying it's ambiance, horseback riding, taking the Cog Train up to Pike's Peak, seeing Garden of the Gods, hiking and Red Rock Canyon and Helen Hunt Falls, fly fishing and just taking a long drive into the Rockies. It was only the two of us, and we didn't use the loft area, but this would be great for two families with kids or a family get away with grandparents. The owners were always available and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
