Great place to stay in Colorado Springs!
My husband and I and our 4 adult children stayed 4 nights at this cute bungalow in Colorado Springs. We found the house to be comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything was clean and the overall experience was even better than we expected! The owner thought of everything and we had everything we needed in the kitchen! The neighborhood was a wonderful place to walk as there were so many beautiful homes nearby. The home is centrally located and it was an easy drive to everywhere in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. We will stay here again when we return to Colorado Springs.
We had a great stay at this updated Craftsman home. The home was very clean, thoughtfully appointed and close to many great activities. Our kids (ages 10,8,5) loved the toys/small playroom and the school playground across the street. We loved historic Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods and the Cheyenne Zoo. Thanks for a great stay! Communication was great with the owners as well.
Short but Lovely Stay
This home is centrally located and has everything you need and more. Very clean, cozy home with comfortable beds.
Six Stars Cottage
Completely felt like home as soon as I stepped in! Every detail has been carefully thought out making our stay so welcoming. The entire house was spotless and very well organized with excellent detail to providing you with everything you needed to make this stay perfect. Great kitchen for cooking and even had all the fixings for pancakes placed nicely on the counter. Bathrooms provided you with all your shower needs down to wonderful towels. Loved the offering of homemade clay coffee mugs for purchase. Bought one as a memory of this stay. Highly recommend!
Well kept place
This bungalow is light & bright, spacious, and very well kept inside - clean, and nicely decorated. It is also thoughtfully appointed with the exception of a blender or mixer (glad I could bring mine from home for my Easter wknd baking); perhaps the owners want to avoid the noise for upstairs guests. With the charm of an old home one also needs to expect things like small bathrooms, creaky floors with grate vents in odd places that collect all kinds of debris, and doors that stick. It was reasonably quiet but we did notice when guests moved in upstairs (hope we didn't bother them, esp. w/all of my kitchen noise!). However, in our extensive travels we're used to imperfections and adapting. It was homey all the same, with modern conveniences and extra provisions like a complimentary pancake mix with a small bottle of maple syrup, sugar & spices, lollipops for kids, baggies of all sizes & even parchment paper, plenty of cook ware (teflon) including a strainer and pancake griddle, many books & games, and outdoor furniture on front & back porches. The weather was wonderful and we so enjoyed strolling the historic neighborhood and downtown with budding trees and spring flowers. The owners were very accommodating and responded quickly to our requests. We had a delightful holiday weekend with our family!
