About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

This cozy, relaxing, and comfortable home in Yachats is a great place to enjoy a nice beach getaway. With plenty of space for four people, dog-friendly attitude, and even a private hot tub, you will feel right at home here!

Located about five minutes north of Yachats, this home is in a quiet neighborhood and is only a three-block walk to the beautiful, uncrowded beach! Spend your mornings beachcombing, looking for tidepools, and walking along the sandy shore, then head into town for a nice lunch at a restaurant and some gallery browsing!

This two-bedroom, one-bathroom home easily accommodates four guests, and you are even welcome to bring up to two dogs with you (though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply)! Your furry friends will love walking on the beach just as much as you will.

Inside, a colorful and warm color scheme will greet you. Sit in the living room area and pick a DVD to watch (or bring along one of your favorites), play video games on the Nintendo gaming system, stream Netflix, choose a board game to play, use the Internet to look up activities, or simply sit and enjoy the crackling warmth of the wood-burning fireplace.

The full kitchen has all major appliances, so cooking during your stay will be a breeze! When it's time to head to bed, choose between the room with the soft, full-size bed, or the second bedroom which has a queen-size bed and a door that opens up to the deck. Head out to the backyard for s'mores at the fire pit.

Other amenities in this home include a laundry room, just in case you need to freshen up your clothes during your visit. Also, outside you will find a lovely hot tub! Located under a roof, you will love sitting in the marvelously relaxing hot tub anytime, especially during one of the coast's frequent rainstorms - just imagine listening to the rain bounce off the roof while you relax in the hot tub!

This home would be a perfect budget-friendly way for a small group of people to enjoy a beach getaway. Yachats has plenty to keep you busy, but if you start to yearn for a larger city, head north about 25 minutes to reach Newport, where the aquarium, antique shops, and huge variety of restaurants will certainly keep you entertained!

When you're ready for a nice vacation to the coast, this lovely home in Yachats is ready and waiting for you!

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Very cozy and comfortable house and quiet!

 • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much, it was private and quiet. Comfortable and well-equipped with all necessities. The hot tub is a lovely addition, though small and is very private and easy to use.

Nice Little Vacation Home

 • 5 of 5

The house itself is nicely decorated and fairly well maintained for a beach house. Parking is difficult to find as it is the driveway PAST the house. The driveway before is not the right driveway and is difficult to get back out. The shared driveway is kind of a pain but as long as you are pulled all the way forward for the neighbor to be able to back out, you will be fine. The house is 0.3 miles on a single lane gravel road to highway 101 and then across highway 101 another 0.1 miles to get to the beach, but we didn't have a problem with that. Nearby beaches were a short drive anyway. Overall a great stay and will definitely be back.

Adorable Cottage!

 • 5 of 5

The Getaway is adorable! The house was clean and well maintained-- when first driving up in the dark we were a little concerned about the road in and location to other homes, but upon arrival we fell in love! We plan on making it a tradition to return at least once a year.

Cute house with great decor!

 • 5 of 5

We loved staying in this cute, pet friendly house. It's off the main highway and super quiet. The hot tub was wonderful and very private. The house has a great yard for your pup to come with! Lots of charm and character in the house. Games, DVD's and Netflix too!

bummer place

 • 1 of 5

This house was not at all as I expected from the pictures. It was overpriced, and inappropriate !! It was COLD, there wasn't any wood for the fireplace (which was the reason I picked it). They wanted us to use presto logs but didn't provide any. The pans were dirty; all but the little one. (When I wiped out the largest pan with a paper towel, the paper towel came out black, really black. )The other pans were teflon and scratched and slightly dirty. We used the little one and prepared individual servings. It was not convenient as it was a long day and we were looking forward to dinner and settling in. We had to take turns in the HOT TUB as its a TWO PERSON tub. The house it's self was small and VERY tired and long ways from the beach. It didn't have a community or beachy feel as its in the trees and a long walk down a dirt road to the beach. there was No dishwasher, shall i go on?....overall, I paid a lot for a dump! I'll think twice before i use VRBO as this was our vacation! The short of it, I would not recommend this property.

So relaxing!

 • 5 of 5

The cabin was so comfortable and CLEAN ( I live on a farm it's almost impossible to keep dust and dirt off the floor). The hot tub was wonderful we used it every night. I loved all of the personal touches the shower was my favorite, and all the light switch covers were so cool. My only complained is that we had to leave. We will be back for sure!
