2 Bedroom villa plus a wooden maisonette with 2 more double beds, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, 3 bathrooms, large living room, spectacular views, situated on a 2000sq m plot, swimming pool, free wifi. 1.5 miles from Stoupa.
We have recently spent two weeks in this villa and found it to be extremely well equipped, comfortable and clean.
The owners are both helpful and friendly.
The views across Stoupa are breathtaking and we would highly recommend it.
The pictures that accompany the description do not to it justice.
Worth looking into flying into Athens as we did and driving down as flights are much cheaper than flying to Kalamata.
Had a great holiday and looking to go back next year.
Stunning views with an excellent location and clean and immaculate Villa, that was exceptionally equipped with everything at hand. Service was of a high standard from the owner and his family. We would hope to stay again as we can't fault anything. Dan & Karen Slater, Faversham, Kent.
We have recently spent two weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The Villa is close to perfect, with a very high quality finish throughout, and very well equipped.
Although there is the satellite TV and media centre in the Villa – we didn’t actually use it as, whilst we were at the villa (and not out sightseeing) as we spent all of our time on the veranda (or in the Pool) looking at the view! My favourite part of the day being the first cup of tea of the day, on the veranda, whilst my husband had his pre-breakfast swim (first of many during the day).
We did however, make use of the free wi-fi during the last couple of days – emailing photos of the view back home to friends and family!
The villa is private without being isolated and within 5 minute’s drive from the seafront, with restaurants and a couple of good supermarkets nearby. We ate out every evening – just having breakfast and lunch in the villa. All tavernas we ate in were of a high quality.
We can only agree with previous reviews that the Service provided by the Owners is a first-class, high standard, friendly and personal Service. The villa was cleaned every 2-3 days with linen changes done at the same time.
The views across Stoupa are breathtaking and we would highly recommend this spot. We just hope that the area doesn’t expand too much to spoil the whole peaceful atmosphere and panoramic views. Prior to staying here – our favourite spot for views was on Crete – Chania area and views over Souda Bay. Villa Panorama in Stoupa has now overtaken that as our favourite spot.
The Photos on the web site definitely do not do it justice.
We swam every day in the lovely private pool, which is also cleaned every 2/3 days by the owner himself,
We chose to fly into Athens and drive down. The flights are much cheaper than flying to Kalamata. If staying within the speed limit, the drive was 4 hours – however we could have reduced that time by driving faster! but we actually enjoyed the drive – the road being good to drive on, and nothing like the traffic congestion on English motorways!
A car is essential for this part of Greece
Had a great holiday and will definitely come back at some stage Just wish it had 3 “proper” bedrooms then we’d come back with my sister and her husband, and our mother
The photographs on the site do not prepare you for the absolutely stunning views from this villa over the Stoupa coastline. Waking up each morning and looking out of the window was a joy and would have made the holiday brilliant regardless of the rest.
The villa itself is close to perfect, with a very high quality finish throughout, comfortable beds/sofas, attention to detail and excellent media facilities. As well as satellite TV (only a few English language channels, but a subtitle facility), the owner provides a media centre with recorded movies, shows, documentaries etc. If you ever tire of the views, then there is plenty to watch. We swam every day in the lovely private pool, cleaned every 2/3 days by the owner himself. The owner and his family provided a first class and friendly, personal service, with everything we needed/wanted available. We would perhaps have found it useful to have some information in the villa about Stoupa itself and what the area had to offer, but we did have fun finding out ourselves.
The villa is private without being isolated and within 5 minutes drive from the seafront, with restaurants and a couple of good supermarkets nearby. We ate out a few times, but also had some lazy evenings on the balcony at the villa enjoying simple food, wine and, of course, ouzo. The location is also good for visiting other local areas and exploring some of the small villages to experience some authentic Greek atmosphere.
A car is essential to get the most out of the holiday, although we did meet people who used the local buses and/or hired bicycles to get around. We arranged airport transfers and car hire through the owner at very reasonable rates and extremely convenient - no hassle of queues and paperwork at the airport.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at Villa Panorama and would highly recommend it for those looking for a relaxing holiday in excellent quality accommodation.
I would recommend this villa to anyone. Peaceful location, great views, very well equipped. A car is necessary and the owner can arrange car rental. I was impressed with how everything was arranged for us, without us having to move a finger. Ideal place for writers and people who can work from home - combining work with holidays.
It was our second time in this villa (first time summer of '10) and, being impressed, we felt we had to write something about it. The villa very clean and the owner very friendly and helpful as always. There were some new additions to the villa. Free wireless broadband, books and a media center for films (too bad we didn't bring our external hdd). The owner provided wood for the fire place, making our stay as cosy as it could be. We'll see you again at summer time!
ps We must agree with the previous review - the photos do not show how great this place is.
Stoupa is a quiet village 50 km south of Kalamata (1 hour drive) and 330 km from Athens (4 hour drive). It's an ideal place for family relaxing holidays. The village provides everything a tourist may need. Sandy beaches, good restaurants and bars, friendly service.
