R&R Pagosa House is the culmination of a dream to own a home at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, and far from the heat and humidity of the Gulf Coast.
Easy access to outdoor activities, unique mineral hot springs close by, tons of fun activities for all members of the family.
The house was so well laid out and furnished, it was as perfect as being at home! It was close to the businesses and restaurants without being too close! The kayak was well enjoyed on the lake that was within walking distance! There were bikes for those inclined to use them and a wonderful deck to enjoy coffee in the mornings and relaxing in the evenings! The owners were very friendly and helpful in every way possible! Thanks for the great place to enjoy!
We really enjoyed staying here. What I liked most about this home was that it is well appointed. Whatever we needed was found, from kitchenware and spices, to bathroom supplies, and it even had two bikes for us to use. It was very comfortable for 6 people. It is a short walking distance from the lake where you can either walk or bike around it. Very beautiful. Note: there is a charcoal grill so you will need to bring your own charcoal if you want to cook on it.
This was a GREAT place to launch our family's exploration of Pagosa and the San Juans. The house is wonderful and really just what we expected (and a wee bit more). The location was perfect as it drew me to go hiking north to Williams Lake, got my brother in-law to discover fabulous fly fishing in the lower Piedra and all of us to discover the upper Piedra River trail... it was close enough to old Pagosa (2 miles) to enjoy Kips and the Hot Springs, but also the same distance to "Uptown" to enjoy... and oh, have you seen the Aspens in Fall???
All the amenities of home.Over looks the Pagosa Springs Lakes system. In view of the San Juan National Forest.Accessible to hwy 160 and approx. 25 miles from Wolf Creek.Gorgeous views all abound.Close to all the happenings and restaurants in Pagosa Springs.Highly recommended.
My family rented this house for two weeks in June. We were immediately impressed with the tasteful decor, huge kitchen/living area, and comfortable amenities. The house is about a five minute walk from a lake, and there is even a kayak and bicycle in the garage you can use. We found Pagosa Springs itself to be a great base to explore the area. We can't recommend R&R Pagosa house enough - it's a beautiful property with everything you need for a great vacation.
