This top floor south facing,duplex apartment in Altomar3 has an excellent location with all round views of the sea, communal pool, Alicante, the mountains and the national park. The terrace and balcony get all year round sunshine. The interior is finished to a very high standard with air conditioning and English TV. Internet access is also available. The lounge/diner is spacious with dining table and four chairs. There is also a sofa bed which makes sleeping 6 possible. It has one double bedroom and one with twin beds. Each room has ample storage and built in wardrobes and fans. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster, electric kettle. Blinds and security grills are fitted for both security reasons and shade. The solarium is spacious with a large awning, table and chairs and sun loungers. It catches sun all day. There is dedicated underground car parking, however the excellent bus services to all major centres mean a car is not a necessity. Four minutes walk away is a 7 km superb sandy beach with bars, shops and restaurants. In July and August a bus runs on a circle taking and bringing people to the beach.

Ideal Location: The apartment is in a quiet, new development in the Spanish village of Los Arenales. The views are spectacular and it is within walking distance from the beach. On the other side of the road is a large nature reserve ideal for walking, birdwatching and observing wildlife. The location is ideal for a beach holiday or chilling out by taking in the views or ambling on the palm lined Avenida de S.Bartolome. There is a tourist office on the sea front and bars, restaurants and market stalls bustle in the high season. Out of season Los Arenales has a quiet atmosphere ideal for relaxing and leisurely strolls. The bus service to major tourist attractions such as Elche, Alicante and Santa Pola is cheap, frequent and reliable; these towns are all about 20 minutes away - no need to hire a car or fight for parking spaces. The village is served by several small supermarkets. Close by is the multi-national Gran Alacant with its large commercial centre, supermarkets and excellent restaurants and bars.

For the energetic : Every kind of sport is catered for in the area. There are 9 golf courses within easy driving. The area is crisscrossed with cycle tracks and walkways. For the mountain biker the nature reserve has its challenges whilst the roads are safe and flat for the leisure cyclists - for club riders the mountains past Crevillent will test even the fittest. The beach caters for wind surfers, snorkelers, swimmers, divers, paragliders. Sailing and leisure boat rides to Tarbaca, Denia and beyond are available from Alicante and Santa Pola. For the shopper Alicante and Elche have all the major stores of swish Mediterranean cities as well as being major tourist attractions. Alicante is also a serious stop for culture vultures with its international jazz festival, top class restaurants, concerts and international marina - host to the rich and famous and the starting point of the round the world yacht race. A late night taxi from Alicante to the apartment costs 15 -20 euros.

information and support: The apartment has air conditioning which also serves as central heating in the winter. Internet TV has all the major English TV channels such as BBC ITV and radio services including RTE radio as well as international channels.

There is a large collection of DVDs with contemporary and classic films and audio CDs.

A file of information in the apartment contains information on all main attractions in the area. It has local bus-timetables and the contact telephone numbers of English speaking taxi services.

There are several ATMs in Gran Alacant and El Altet which are close by. Gran Alacant has several major supermarkets at the commercial centre where guests can stock up for the week's provisions and El Altet also has major supermarkets. There is a bus and road train service running around Gran Alacant which can be useful for shopping expeditions.

The apartment has a safe where valuables can be safely stored . Beach equipment is available for use.

We chose to buy this apartment because of its location, close to Alicante airport and close to the beach as well as being close to the beautiful cities of Alicante and Elche. Also because of the stunning 360 degree views of the sea and the mountains.

What makes this apartment unique

Arenales is a Spanish village close to Alicante airport with its wonderful beach and promenade. In summer it is full of bustle with mainly Spanish family holidaymakers. In winter it hibernates with space to relax and ramble on the beach or the national park.

  • There are 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has bedside tables as well as large built in wardrobes and air conditioning. Each room is served also by a traditional Spanish paddle fan, air conditioning, bedside lights wardrobe shelving/drawers, and power points. Linen is provided as are extra blankets for colder periods. The windows are protected by security grills and blinds. Heating for the winter is available from the air conditioning and electric heaters. The lounge can act as a third bedroom for parties up to 6 persons with its large double sofabed.

Notes:
This apartment is in a gated community in Altomar 3 Los Arenales on a second floor, overlooking a communal pool. The south facing balcony, with awning, leads to a private solarium with sunbeds and outdoor dining table and chairs. The solarium has all round views including the sea, Alicante and the mountains. It also overlooks a large area of national park. Inside is finished to a very high standard with air conditioning, English TV, WIFI, fully fitted kitchen including an electric kettle and toaster. The living room and bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard. Linen and towels are provided ( except beach towels ) however cleaning costs and laundry charges are additional. Unless otherwise agreed prior to your arrival the property will need to be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure and will not be available until 3.00pm. A 'meet and greet' service and welcome pack of food and drink is available upon request. Child cot, buggies can be arranged as can airport transfer.

Formidables vacances en famille

Magnifique appartement idéalement situé au dessus de la piscine et à 400 m de la plage et du centre.

Immense toit terrasse avec vue panoramique ou nous avons pris tous nos repas.

Enchantés par notre séjour, nous pensons vraiment revenir.

Quelques mot pour le propriétaire qui rendu notre séjour très agréable grâce à sa parfaite organisation et nos échanges conviviaux.

Lovely apartment with sea views and everything you could need for a relaxing stay.

From my first enquiry through to my return home Jim was brilliant. He gave his advice generously to ensure we got the best from our holiday. He very kindly arranged airport pick up, which was perfect as we were arriving late with young children.

We were met at the apartment by Andy who showed us where everything was and was lovely with our boys. Andy even popped over to check we were ok when there was a short power cut in the area. Jim also messaged to check we were ok.

The apartment itself is lovely. Jim has thought of everything, from folders of information about the area to leaving things like cooking oil and salt. All he asks is that you make sure there is some for the next person. The beds were comfy with linen and towels provided and the furniture on the roof terrace makes this a great place to relax and enjoy the sun into the evening. The aircon was a godsend when the temperatures hit 40°!

The location is great, right opposite the complex pool and with lovely views of the surrounding area from the roof terrace. It is nice and quiet but also close to the beach and restaurants along the promenade.

We are already planning our next visit.

A great holiday all we wished for.

The property is a large two bedroom apartment with an amazing roof terrace with views on all sides. It is maintained to a high standard and is fully air conditioned. The facilities and appliances are of a very high standard within Jim and Stephanies apartment. It is opposite the swimming pool which we facilitated our early morning swim every day.It is within a short walk to many restaurants and beaches. We would highly recommend this fabulous apartment and would consider it to be 5 star accomadation, can't wait to return. Brian & Teresa

Lovely apartment

The apartment is nice and well equipped the kitchen!

Rooms are big and there are lot of space in the living room.

Roof terrace is lovely with a great view! We had a lovely holiday!

The pool was nice and the area very quite!

We fortunately had a car. The beach was not so far but we had to climb to come back and with a child was not so easy!

So we could also visit other beaches and Alicante, that's a nice city!

I reccomend this apartment.

The manager was very kind because we could stay in the apartment till the afternoon! Our flight was in evening time!

We hope to come back sometimes in the future!

Superb apartment, would definitely recommend

My partner and I have just returned from a week in the apartment and we had a brilliant time, the apartment is like a home from home and has everything you need. The roof

Terrace is great to lie on during the day and for dinner in the evening, the views from roof terrace are amazing. I would recommend a trip to lidl in Gran Alicante to stock up, although there is a number of supermarkets near apartment. Would definitely like to return in the future!

Los Arenales village lies alongside a seven kilometre excellent, safe, sandy beach, ideal for relaxation 10 minutes drive from Alicante Airport. Arenales has a distinctive Spanish ambiance with its bars and resturants catering for locals as well as those with holiday homes. The two kilometre palm-lined promenade runs along the beach ideal for an evening paseo (or rollerblading for the energetic). The village has an excellent bus service to the bustling, beautiful Mediterranean city of Alicante(10 km) with its bars, restaurants, historic 'barrio', international marina and the spectacular castle of Santa Barbara and to historic Elche (12 km) with its palm groves and links to Moorish Spain. Santa Pola is also a short bus ride away whilst the multi-national Gran Alacant with its commercial centre, bars and restaurants is within walking distance. Los Arenales backs on to a large area of national park ideal for walks and hiking. There are 7 golf clubs around the area.

Refundable damage deposit $201.15

1. To secure a booking a security deposit of £150 is required. This must be paid at the time of booking. The rental fee must be paid in full 60 days prior to the commencement of the holiday. If booked directly with the owner the security deposit is returned within 10 days from the end of the holiday provided the laundry/cleaning charge has been met and there are no damages.
2 There is a cleaning/laundry fee in addition to the rental fee. See attachment on Property Services Management.
Towels and linen are provided (except beach towels). For hygiene reasons these are professionally laundered by the Property Services Manager and the apartment cleaned and made ready for the next guests. Hence there is a laundry/cleaning fee to be paid directly to the Property Services Manager upon departure. The fee is 55 euros for a party of 4 and 5 euros additional for each additional guest.
3. WIFI is included in the rental fee.
4. Rates outside of 7 nights negotiable with owner.
5. A cot or child's buggy can be arranged with the Property Services Manager. The cost of rental is between the guest and the PSM.
6. Transport to/from the airport can be arranged.The cost is around 20 euros. This is arranged via the Property Services Manager. The owner accepts no liability in respect of that arrangement.

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
