Enjoy this beautiful cabin in a secluded mountain location. We made this a getaway lodge to enjoy the outdoors, family and to create great memories. We are located near many outdoor festivals, golf, hiking, and water sports.
Deer Valley is a Gated Communuty with paved roads, a pavillion with fireplace, and volleyball.
We have a King Bed Suite upstairs, a Queen Bed Suite downstairs and a full size trundle bed in the huge loft that sleeps 2 with private access to a full bathroom. A King bed air mattress can also be used in the loft area.
There is always something to do close by to keep everyone entertained. Please email us for a comprehensive list of activities.
We are pet-freindly and want you to enjoy your 4 legged canine members. A non refundable deposit of $50.00 per visit will be charged for cleaning the cabin.
We opted not to install a land line but we do have good cell access.
The cabin offers a family environment for all ages to enjoy. Relax in front of the wood burning stove and watch the mountains from the large picture windows or watch your favorite show on our flat panel TV with satelitte programs.

My wife and I have been married 'several' decades and enjoy travel and experiencing new things. We started using VRBO to find those out of the way treasures for vacations.
Mark has recently gone back to riding motorcycles and found this wonderful area to explore and eventually purchased this property. Joan continues to enjoy decorating including this cabin. She enjoys her small group at church and has hopes to bring the 'girls' up for some area shopping and antiquing.
We have one married daughter that lives close by. Mark has been in the Logistics industry for 30 years and enjoys experiencing new challanges.
Mark purchased this cabin in 2011
THE VIEW.!! We have multiple long distance mountain views. The scenery changes by the minute. We have complete solitude with no neighbors close by. We have deer, wild turkeys and bob cats roaming the mountain. Its like camping but in a 4 star lodge.
Relaxing, star gazing, the fire pit with a glass of wine. No agenda, a complete stress reliever. We now know what 'mountain' time is plus the locals are real true generous people
Going to the lake, the Tiki bar at the Boat House restaurant
We stayed at this home from Dec 28, 2016 through Jan 1st, 2017 and loved it and the views of the mountains it offered. It was very easy to find, even though it was not yet on our GPS. This property was exceptionally clean with every amenity needed and the wood-burning stove kept us nice and toasty even during a short power outage (1 hour). Mark provided the wood for the stove and stayed in touch with us throughout our stay, answering questions and providing additional info. There are many interesting sites and things to do in the area, such as hiking trails, dining (the Friday Night Seafood Buffet at Brasstown Resort was superb!) and winery tastings. We also made a day trip to Harrahs Casino on Friday, which wasn't terribly crowded. The trip up through the Natahalia (about 1 1/2 hr) was especially beautiful. We are so very excited about planning another trip to this area soon and would highly recommend this property to our relatives and friends.
What a pleasant surprise! So many of the cabins we've rented had pictures that never really panned out once we arrived...but Mark's cabin and pictures were spot on! The views were spectacular, the inside and outside of the cabin was beautiful, the furnishings (kitchen, bedrooms, living room) were all there for our 3 day family vacation. We are already talking about finding time to visit again for the spring/summer so that we can take in the beauty of the mountains when the flowers are blooming and the trees full of leaves. Do not hesitate when considering this rental (I just hope there's room available the next time we are looking to book!!) Thanks, Mark!!!
We (myself, wife and schipperke) wanted a place to unplug from our hectic fast paced lives. And this was the perfect place to do it, quite and ridgeline seclusion at its best. The kitchen allowed us to make casual meals when we wanted, and the location was minutes away from eating out if you preferred. The area was under a No Burn order due to the drought conditions, so we stayed away from using the fire pit, but I did use the indoor wood stove. We had a few nights where it fell into the low 30's, and by the 3rd or 4th log we had the whole house heating to a very warm temperature. We would highly recommend this fantastic home/cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway.
Mark and Joan were very easy to communicate with and informative during our stay. They stayed in touch throughout our stay while a repairman installed a dishwasher that had been repaired. The drive to the home is fairly steep, but well worth it. The home sits atop a mountain with one other home that you can barely see from this home. It was so quiet up there and you rarely heard traffic from down below. The views were so gorgeous and Mark and Joan thought of everything to make this home so cozy. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals in, even though we used the charcoal grill most of the time. The fire pit was a nice added touch to sit around in the evening and at night. This home is close to a very nice Ingles. This is a good starting point for any local sight seeing however, we enjoyed sitting on the back porch so much that we rarely left the home except for quick errands. It seems we got there when the Japanese hornet hive was at its largest and we did have to be careful of them getting inside the home since they are attracted to lights at night so we just kept the indoor lights to a minimum while we were outside. This isn't something that the homeowner could do anything about since you are surrounded by woods and we never saw a nest anywhere close by. The star gazing is beautiful from this home. Would love to visit this home again in the future.
We could not have been more pleased with this wonderful cabin home in the mountains of Warne, North Carolina. Just a short trip from Atlanta, we were pleasantly surprised at how truly cozy this home is. The pictures on the website are accurate but seeing this home in person is an absolute pleasure. The owner has truly thought of everything, all you have to do is pack some groceries and show up! We walked everywhere, in every direction with our dogs. No traffic, no crowds. Peace and quiet and rest.... with a spectacular view and a fully appointed cabin home. The bedroom upstairs offered plenty of privacy for our friends to enjoy. Our dogs had the best time running around the home and we felt so safe and never worried about them being harmed in any way. The joy on their faces while they explored every inch of the area.... priceless!! Our only complaint.... we wished we could have stayed longer. We would love to return sometime, perhaps in the fall when all of the colors change. Don't forget to bring your charcoal for the barbecue! Nothing tastes better than food cooked outdoors and enjoyed under a blanket of stars!
For a good hike, try driving to Joyce Kilmer National Monument. The trees are ancient, huge and the trails are breathtaking!
