About Teague Gallagher
Now retired. born in Donegal, lived in Wicklow for many years and have good knowledge of surrounding area. Happy to offer plenty of advice and suggestions on places to see and things to do locally.
Teague Gallagher purchased this House in 1987
Why Teague Gallagher chose Kilpedder
Worked nearby for many years before retiring. This place ticks all the boxes for me. As a person who loves the sea, the house is just a short drive from the beach and Greystones marina. There is a beautiful beach less than 30 mins away with miles of golden sand, paradise. I love walking and am spoiled for choice locations here. Shops, pubs and restaurants are nearby and if you like golf, well ....... you hit the jackpot .....
What makes this House unique
I fell in love with this house the first time I saw it, its a lovely bungalow and it was the location that was the icing on the cake. Over the years I have done a lot of work to it, improving it all the time. Infrastructure in the area has improved alongside. It is a very much sought after area to live in because of its proximity to Dublin, the east coast and the Wicklow Mountains.

Fabulous location. Very clean and comfortable. Teague is an amazing host..
We rented through VRBO. A sight we have used often and once again we were not disappointed.
Comfortable home in a fabulous location!
We stayed 4 nights in this comfortable and well-equipped home in May 2019. Teague is the best host we have ever encountered in multiple VRBO stays. He was there to greet us when we arrived and spent considerable time orientating us to the house and to the area. He even set out an apple pie and an ample bowl of fresh fruit for us! The home was very clean and comfortable with many amenities including all types of cooking utensils, washer and dryer, paper goods and other necessary supplies, hair dryer, etc. The back yard provided a nice place to sit and relax after a day of touring. The location was outstanding for experiencing Dublin, the Wicklow Mountains, and the southeast coastal villages. Bus service to Dublin was a plus. There is so much to see and do in this area of Ireland and we highly recommend this location. Many thanks to Teague for all the "extras" that made this such a good experience for us.
Every once in a while you come across people whom you instantly 'click' with, your family Nancy was one such family. It made my job all so easy and it's pleasing to know that 'Home At Last' exceeded your expectations.
Highly recommended home-from-home
We had a lovely stay at the bungalow. The host was very welcoming, and the bungalow was a genuine home-from-home. The bungalow has three large bedrooms with comfortable beds, and nicely-appointed living and dining areas, plus a private walled garden. 'Home at Last' is near Greystones, which is a lovely town by the coast, and also at the end of a DART line, so good links to the centre of Dublin. We're already planning our return trip!
Kevin and Gill, you were a pleasure to work with. It pleases me to know that you were happy with your chosen accommodation. You were 5🌟 guests.
GREAT PROPERTY, GREAT LOCATION, GREAT OWNER!!!
We had such a great time during our stay at "Home at Last". Teague was great and the property was very comfortable and clean. I have nothing but great things to say about the property and would definitely stay again. Thanks Teague!!!!!
Teague is the BEST!!!
Had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The wood burning stove was a nice touch on those cold nights. Teague went above and beyond by taking us to the grocery store to do some shopping for the long weekend and for arranging a taxi to the airport for us. We appreciate you so much and look forward to staying there again in the future. We highly recommend ‘home at last’ to everyone!
