Naushop Townhome Rental Photos and Description

Townhome, 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

What a beautiful spring, summer, and early fall we have had on Nantucket! For the past 5 years our townhouse has been booked every week from Memorial Day weekend thru early October so don't delay in making your summer 2017 reservations. Keep in mind that June, September and October are great months to visit the island because it's still very warm, all of the restaurants are open, the crowds are smaller, and prices are lower.

My parents and I bought the townhouse in Spring '12 and my parents and friends have enjoyed staying there when it isn't rented. The pictures will show you how we've decorated with a new sofa, comfy upholstered chair, bed linens, dishes, artwork, and antiques, and a gas grill on the private patio. We have a great housekeeper, Clover, who makes sure it's immaculately clean for your arrival.

Our vacation retreat is located on the beautiful, exclusive island of Nantucket in the centrally located and super family friendly Naushop community. This two story townhouse has cathedral ceilings and a bright, cheery decor. The front patio is a nice private oasis with an outdoor dining table and chaise lounge- all beautifully secluded by a privet and hydrangeas, roses, and perennials. Upstairs is the living quarters with a kitchen that includes everything you'll need if you choose to cook and an extensive directory of the wonderful local restaurants for Nantucket dining at its finest. Steps away you'll enjoy meandering bike paths that will take you all throughout Naushop and beyond- Nantucket has some of the best bike paths on which you can ride all over the island- to the beaches, to the Old Historic District, and of course shopping! The NRTA bus stop is a just a short walk from the house the buses will drop you off all over the island as they run on continual loops. After a nice day at the beach or in town shopping or sight seeing, you'll love the amenities that Naushop offers. The heated pool, baby pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, playground, clubhouse, and extensive walking paths throughout the clean and safe neighborhood provide hours of leisure activities. You will truly love this island retreat!

About Susan Renzulli

This picture is of my son and me at Oran Mor Bistro, (fabulous restaurant!!) Thanksgiving 2012. My family and I have been coming to Nantucket for years. I purchased a second home on the island several years ago, and in 2012 my parents and I decided to purchase this adorable townhouse so that they can enjoy the island several times throughout the year. We live in Florida and really love getting up to Nantucket during the different seasons. Easter and Thanksgivng are two times of the year that I love spending time up there- and of course, NOTHING beats Nantucket in the summer and Septembe/October! It must be the most wonderful climate in the US during July, August, and September!

Susan Renzulli purchased this townhome in 2012

Why Susan Renzulli chose Nantucket

It is a unique piece of property very close to everything- beaches, town, Old Historic District, airport. It is also connected to the island's bike paths and the bus route- which will take you to all of the beaches, town, airport, shopping, etc., is just a minute walk away. Also, right across the street from Naushop is a little diner, convenience store, and package store you can easily walk to. Naushop is a very beautiful neighborhood that is kept in pristine condition.

What makes this townhome unique

Staying in this townhouse is so comfortable- it has large windows facing three different directions so the natural sunlight and cool island breezes are very appealing. We love the private patio; it's a great place to lounge, cookout, and dine. The tennis courts and swimming pools are a huge bonus- there is so much to do. And, the people in Naushop are so friendly! It's a very safe, family friendly community. If you don't bring your bikes you can easily rent them- the rental shops will even drop bikes off and pick them up for you!

Perfect place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Just came back from a week here- we had a fantastic vacation. As opposed to other places we've stayed at on Nantucket (which we also liked), this felt much less sterile and more like a home. Susan thoughtfully provides everything you could need. The neighborhood was beautiful to stroll around and incredibly convenient. We loved being away from the crowds but a quick Wave ride away from anywhere we needed to go. We did & saw a lot during our stay but it was a luxury to just be able to spend a day here or there playing tennis and lounging at the pool. The garden patio is beautiful and we absolutely loved having dinner there most nights. We hope to book all future summer plans here- thank you Susan!

Perfect Memorial Day Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We had an awesome stay at Susan's condo over Memorial Day weekend. The space was great and fit four people very comfortably. We spent a lot of our time enjoying the outdoor patio, it was very private and was the perfect place to hangout and grill. The listing description was spot on and the space actually ended up seeming larger than the pictures showed. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives! Hopefully we will be back too!

Cute and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our week at Susan's townhouse. It was clean, attractively furnished with Nantucket style decorations, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is centrally located, but you'll need a car or use bus/taxis to get around. After much thought, we brought our car over on the ferry. We were glad to have it, making it easy to get all over the island. There's parking right at the townhouse. We did not use the pool because the weather was cool and cloudy-rainy every day. Susan was available during the week and very responsive when we had questions. We recommend this property.

Our little home from home

  • 5 of 5

I travelled from Ireland to Nantucket with my husband and our three small children for two weeks in June /July 2015. We rented Susan's lovely house in Naushop, as we wanted to be close to the local school, (our daughter was attending Adams Camp') it turned out to be a perfect location between the town, school, and beaches. We rented a car for two weeks but I could see the bus stops close by, and the shop and pool where within walking distance.

My kids loved the pool and little playpark (thanks for all the beach/pool equipment) and they made many friends every evening. We loved the neighbourhood, walking around everyone was so friendly, we even got the offer of a babysitter from the next door neighbours daughter, so my husband and I got out for dinner (without the kids) bliss!

Susan is the perfect host, she answered all our questions promptly beforehand and was always at hand once we arrived if we had any problems. She is a lovely lady and very kind and thoughtful to our needs. The house is well equipped and beautifully decorated and the garden/patio area became our little slice of heaven at the end of a busy day on the 'far away land'.

Missing ACK already!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at this cute little Naushop townhome last week and missing it already. Susan was great about communicating back and forth before our trip, and also while we were there (thank you Susan). The location is literally steps away from the Wave bus that took us all over the island, and an easy walk or bike ride to a couple convenience stores, restaurants, a pharmacy, and grocery store. And pretty close to the airport too. Stayed there with my sister, niece (14), and son (12). My niece and son loved the pool, which is a short walk or bike ride away. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect Week on ACK

  • 5 of 5

My husband and 9 month old daughter stayed at Susan's townhouse for a week in June. It was the perfect setup for our family. The house is in the cutest little community and had everything we could need. Every night we went for a walk around the neighborhood with our daughter, and the pool was a perfect way to end our days. We are looking forward to returning next summer!
