Attractive & comfortable 2500 sq. foot home right in the heart of Wine Country.

Annadel State Park & amazing hiking, amazing mountain biking, fishing & swimming, Spring Lake Regional Park with gentle hike/walks around an inspirational lake that has canoeing & Howarth Park an outstanding park that caters to younger children that has a train, amazing childrens play area & another lake. All 3 parks touch each other and easily access each other.
Doran Park & Sonoma Coast State Park at Salmon Creek are another unique and wonderful aspect of the magnificent Sonoma Coast. The Sonoma Coast is powerful & threatening most of the time & Doran Park provides a reasonably safe beach area for younger children with Caribbean types of waves as it is protected by Bodega Bay from the powerful surf that comes in from the Pacific Ocean. Sonoma Coast State Park at Salmon Creek has a unique beach that has wonderful sand dunes for the adventurous to explore all day long.
All this is why this home is unique for a trip to wine country.
Do not underestimate the wonderful winter weather at the Sonoma Coast. This is one of those 'local' secrets that the fall, winter & spring weather at the coast is actually quite nice & more appealing than the summer weather.
If you do not want to drive anywhere, literally across the street is Upper Brush Creek Regional Park. This is a stone throw from this home and it provides 5 acres of undeveloped park with oaks & personal solitude for a invigorating walk in the morning.
There is a dog (border collie) on the property. IF you have anyone in your party that is extremely allergic to dogs my property is not what you need. The dog spends an occasional night in the home.
I like my dog. I like my friends. I like my children. I like my grandchildren. I like where I live. I like people. I like my work.

I always dreamed of living in Northern California because of the its incredible beauty & amazing weather.
I enjoy gardening and have a wonderful & unique greenhouse, along with raised beds that I enjoy growing my own beets, turnips, cilantro, basil etc...
I love volley ball and the yard is 3500 sq. ft. so we keep a volleyball net up all the time that can be quickly removed. On Saturday mornings @ 11 am there is an Ultimate Frisbee club that meets 2 minutes away @ the north end of Montecito Park.
Had a wonderful experience with Ken and at this home! Check in was seamless with JR, the caretaker,, and the house was in great condition. This would be perfect for a family with kids, as there were lots of games to play! Kitchen was large and had plenty of cookware for homemade meals, but location is very close to Santa Rosa shops and restaurants as well. Ken was available and responsive throughout the process, and extremely accomodating of our needs! Highly recommend.
This home was perfect for our group of four adults and 5 teenagers. We were in Santa Rosa for my son's wedding so out of town family stayed together at this rental. We had a pre-wedding celebration at the house for family and wedding party and this home was big enough to comfortably accommodate everyone even though it was raining and we couldn't use the yard. We had friendly foosball, pool and ping pong competitions. Portable twin bedding allowed teen cousins to sleep together in the family room.
The kitchen was amazing! It had everything we needed including a double oven! Bedrooms were comfortable and the master with the extra room provided a perfect place for my son and his wedding party to get ready before the wedding. After guests left we enjoyed the hot tub even though it was raining! We were hoping to use the backyard volleyball net, but again we had a rainy weekend.
Ken always responded in a timely manner and his on site caretaker, JR was a delight. The only challenge we had was parking - however understanding where parking was available ahead of time helped and we put up balloons and sent email notifications to guests as to where to park. Again, the rain provided a challenge, otherwise the short walk from parking to house would not have been an issue.
The house was clean and had plenty of towels for a house full of women getting ready for a wedding plus use for the hot tub and toweling off from the rain. I would recommend this property.
We had a wonderful stay at Kenneth's house. The house is beautiful and the yard is large and well kept. I did not think the pictures did it justice. Thanks for the great stay!
My group and I stayed here for 2 nights while being in the area for the Napa Valley Trail Half Marathon in the Bothe Napa Valley State Park. Our group of eight and two small dogs were accommodated very comfortable. The place had a nice big kitchen, convertible pool table/ping pong table, and nice big couch to relax and watch tv. The three bed rooms and three full baths were extremely helpful with the running we did. It was also nice relaxing in the backyard with the jacuzzi to lounge in. Ken was extremely easy to communicate with and the caretaker of the property was very helpful showing us the properrty and letting us know about some of the local grocery stores and other things in the area. I would definitely stay here again with a big party.
Our family gathering couldn't have been in a more convenient location, with all the comforts of home. Well stocked and clean. The caretaker was very helpful. The hot tub and pool table were a nice way to relax and have more fun after visiting town and vineyards. We'd do it again!
The location was perfect for the festivities nearby, but the updated kitchen was outstanding for making breakfasts before getting busy with family. 3 full baths made it easy for everyone to get ready. The home was very clean and the beautiful yard meticulously manicured. Thank you JR for being so accommodating and friendly. We wish we would have had more time to chat! Thank you Ken for allowing us to stay in your wonderful residence. Our family weekend couldn't have been more perfect!
