Kaaienwijk Apartment Rental Photos and Description

A fully furnished rental in the city centre of Brussels, sleeps 6 to 11

This is a 3 bedroomed (double beds) cosy duplex (colonial style) in the city centre of Brussels, it is fully furnished, equipped with the necessary electrical appliances, close to the metro station and other transport links, and Brussels famous "Grand Place" is a couple of minutes walk.

On the first floor of the Duplex (2nd floor of the house) you will find 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with toilet can be found in the master bedroom, a separate toilet in the entrance hall and a shower room shared by the two other bedrooms. Full central heating is provided throughout the Duplex during the cold months,

Upstairs there's a large living room where two to five people can sleep on sofa beds situated in the sitting room, a fully equipped modern kitchen with dining area and there is also a small terrace. It's a short walking distance from the main shopping street, museums and many other cultural events.

The address is Vander Elststreet 10, 1000 Brussels, just off the 'Place de Brouckère'.

The price all depends on the period, number of people (rooms in use) and number of days you chose to stay.

Possibility to park 1 car in the building itself on request.

The building is a shared one so we ask all guests to respect the neighbours on the first floor, and we underline the importance that this is a house and not a discotheque so we cannot and will not tolerate late night noise or party's within the Duplex.

Suitability: Children/babies are welcome as we can supply cots, pets can be considered, but the Duplex is NOT suitable for the elderly or infirm. It is also not wheelchair accessible (three flights of stairs)

We also have a two 2 bedroom (is cheaper as smaller) apartment in the city centre to offer, so in case it suits you (6 or less people), ask us about it here.

Owner's Response: Thank you, we keep on doing our best for our clients. It's true, we surprise very often the people when they arrive in our supperb duplex in the middle of the center. So let you surprise yourself too and discover that Brussels is worth more than you expected a visit.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a long weekend, and completely loved our lodging. It was clean, well managed, and spacious for our 3 families including 6 adults and 6 children ages 2-7. The owners were punctual, extremely helpful and knowledgable about the area. Would recommend this stay to friends and family.

There were 9 girls. Had a great time. The house is very pretty and very big. In nine girls we were very comfortable. The home owner is very nice and kind. The apartment is located in the city center of Brussels, in Piazza de Brouckère less than 10 minutes walk from the railway station and 1 minute from the Metro. We would return. Alessial

Nice photos but badly maintained and unachieved

  • 1 of 5

The flat is located on the 2nd floor. The stairs aren ´t finished and dangerous. There are no stable banisters. It dislocated during our stay. This problem has been existing for a long time according to the manager.

The toilets shared were out of order because of a leak on the first floor known by the owner. We were informed the day after our arrival that we had to use the toilet belonging to the en-suite bedroom. Very convenient to use, specially when you want to go to the toilets at night. We were 7 people.

The armchairs are very dirty ( according to the owner, a new material was bought one year ago but it ´s not renewed yet). The sofas are not comfortable.

The coffee maker was scaly and out of order. We informed Andrew but we had no answer.

The Italian style showers are really swimmingpools after use.

There is. no protection around the outside terrace. Take care if you use it. Children are not welcome.

This flat is not worth the price.

Andrew kindly agreed with the prejudices but refused any financial compensation ! Business is business !

We were offered to come back for a free night which is not conceivable. This is not the right attitude.

Andrew´s kindness at welcoming people and understanding at the problems met during our stay can´t be a compensation !

Owner's Response: This customer has been staying at our duplex apartment in November last year and has been threatening with this kind of a bad review since, just because they wanted to have money back from their stay. There was indeed this one inconvenience about the toilet we needed to close down because of a leak towards the downstairs neighbour but we could not refuse their stay because of that as we wanted to give them the service of our big apartment yet; they were 7 of them and it wouldn't have been easy to find a 3 bedroom apartment with sofa beds in the living room in the very centre of Brussels. For the inconvenience that really appeared in short noticed, we did offer them a night (out of the 3 they have stayed) free but they refused, they wanted more, they wanted cash. This kind of a threat we never had so it is unacceptable. We always had very good reviews so we were not scared of their threat. Finaly they stopped blackmailing us and now all of a sudden they come with this report. Fore some people you can never do good enough so we completely want to take a distance from their remarks. We keep on giving the best service we can offer for big groups and families (up to 11 people can sleep) and for sure children are more than welcome. It is safe, clean and we always try to help our customers with questions and situations they are facing. Regards, Andrew and Thierry

Big, house, comfortable, accessorized.

  • 5 of 5

At the centre of the city, big house on two levels, accessorized, quiet and functional. The agency service is perfect and rapid: very resilient!

We stay only for 5 days for a student visit of the European Union Institutions but also for long staying is highly recommended. Big kitchen, all kitchenware, good bedrooms, functional bathrooms: has it all, a nice terrace too!

Beautiful, central apartment recommended

  • 4 of 5

A spacious apartment close to the the centre, about 10 minutes walk from the Gran' Place, 1 minute from a metro station and a few minutes from a supermarket. Very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved the hammock! The owner, Thierry, is very helpful and friendly and speaks perfect English. I'm not sure the property is suitable for the infirm. My Dad has had a knee and ankle replacements and found it difficult to manage the stairs, especially after a day's intense sight-seeing! That said, there were 9 of us aged from 19 to 81 and we had a lovely time. We were lucky with the weather and were able to use the terrace too. This property is excellent value for money and I would recommend a stay here.
